Not just amazing ice cream but awesome retro candy. Took a scout group from the local camping reservation and the children enjoyed the candy Shop so.

I eat here multiple times a month, and the service and quality never fails to impress me. The staff is very friendly and the ice cream is very tasty — especially the milkshakes.

For a small town this place has it going on. One of very few places in Georgia to get my all time favorite ice cream. Superman ice cream. It’s not as popular down south, but it’s so good! Try it! Great customer service, beautifully/whimsically decorated shop. Kids paradise. Love sitting in the rocking chairs on a warm day relaxing with my niece.

One of the cutest places I’ve ever been to for my sweet tooth cravings. Its right at a corner, so it’s easy to find. Right as I walked in, I couldn’t help but notice all the cute decorations and colors. Reminds me of my childhood memories. :) I know when children come, they can’t help but run to all the other options they had available besides the ice cream. They had great varieties of candy everywhere! I had a single scoop of butter pecan on a waffle cone for 4 dollars. The portion was huge! A single scoop and I couldn’t even finish it. Surprisingly… It wasn’t too sweet. I liked it a lot. Of course I’ll be back.

I love going to this place after enjoying Amici or now even Your Pie. I walk over and get a cone and a scoop for $ 4.00. It’s worth it to me. The ice cream is good, plenty of nice varieties. I could spend more than $ 4.00 though with all the other sweet treats they have on display. As a kid I would walk in and not be able to decide what to look at. The shop is so nice with all the colorful candies on the wall. I also saw they have a party area? Who wouldn’t want to have a party at a mini size Willie Wonka factory? Haha! That’s what it reminds me of. I love it!

This place is right out of old-time America. You have not had the small town Covington experience until you stop in at Scoops for a trip down candy memory lane. Good ice cream, many deluxe chocolates and a vast amount of candies. Grab a couple scoops, sit in the rockers outside and watch the world go by on the square. Good times indeed.

Ice cream was so soft and prefect! The customer service was even better even though I had no clue that was possible.

Great place to fed your sweet tooth! They have all the candy. Repeat: ALL the candy! Don’t let the name Scoops fool you. We went there for ice cream but I was surprised to see chocolate truffles, jelly beans, lolly pops, gummies, everything!!! I love the décor! When you walk in it feels special like an old time candy shop but refreshed. Can’t wait to go back!

Worst icy mocha I’ve ever had, I can only taste the crushed ice, no sweet at all, and I never tasted a bit of chocolate

I swear my 3 year old son was convinced he had died and gone to heaven. This place is Candy Land meets the world of Oz, it’s whimsical and sweet, and the ice cream makes for the perfect treat after spending a the day strolling through the square. The ice cream bar offers an amazing selection of gourmet ice creams, as well as toppings; there are endless possibilities of sugary combinations. If frozen isn’t your thing a beautiful display of designer chocolates are offered up as well as any other zany confection. Love the ice cream and the ambience, the service could have been way better. If you are going to work in a store that caters to overindulgence and fantasy you must be able to keep a smile on your face and show enthusiasm at all times

This place was highly recommended so when I passed it in the plaza, I had to stop. First off, it’s down right adorable. Perfect old timey ice cream place. Colorful, theme decorated and the ice cream flavors are the perfect combinations. We sat in rocking chairs outside eating out peanut butter chip double scoop and watched the cars pass. I’m definitely bringing my child here many times more.

What a charming little sweet shop on the Covington Square! It even has a little porch with rocking chairs so you can set a spell. I was hoping the ice cream was made in-house but according to the polite young man behind the counter, a company in South Carolina makes it for them. It was good but definitely didn’t taste homemade. My small cone was actually two scoops and the rim of my sugar cone was dipped in chocolate. Yum! The reason I will be back(oh who am I kidding, I can never pass up ice cream!), is for the delicious chocolates. I neglected to ask if these were homemade but I bet they are because my dark chocolate salted caramel and milk chocolate pecan cluster stayed fresh for a few days after I bought them. And they were absolutely divine! They’ve also got lots of Jelly Bellies, seasonal treats, and some old fashioned candies that my in-laws remembered from when they were kids. Don’t miss this cute little store next time you’re in downtown Covington!

A nice little local ice cream store. The store is clean and organized with a friendly staff. Sells ice cream, fresh chocolates and many candies. If I remember correctly, you can have three samples of ice cream. They give you extremely big scoops for the price you pay. The flavors are good and common but nothing special or extravagant. They also have nice rocking chairs outside. Overall it was a great exprience and I look forward to coming back.

Great little ice cream shop in the small town of Covington(45 minutes outside of Atlanta). How did i end up there? Our guide for the Vampire Diaries tour told us the ice cream was very good and the cast goes there quite often. After the tour, I just happened to be craving a salted caramel ice cream so I went there. The shop was absolutely adorable with decorative pez dispensers lined up above the doorway. Though they didn’t have salted caramel, they had the«turtle» which was close enough for me. They had a lot of unique ice cream flavors as well as chocolates, candies, and caramel apples(large selection). Perfect place to satisfy your sweet cravings.

Open! On! Sunday! And! Has! Sugar! And! More! Sugar! WOO-HOO! Sugar! And! Coffee! Also has wi-fi available via the town, and they don’t mind your sitting a minute on a toasty day. The ice cream is quite good, the coffee’s ok, and the environment rocks. It’s the ice cream shop on the town square. They got it just right. Great stop before and after nearby events.
