Sonic Drive-In

Quite annoyed with this location, approximately ¹⁄₃ of the stations are non-​functional, making it completely luck of the draw as to whether service actually happens. Service can be erratic even when it happens, and their equipment is frequently temperamental. A funny way to run a railroad, for sure.

For this Restaurant to be famously known for their Shakes, Blasts, Sundaes, etc. for «Happy Hour» they must want to continue to make the «Customer Unhappy». I guess they don’t want to sell any ice cream to make money. Oh, well their loss. I am so tired of trying to go buy some ice cream from this place and the freaking «Ice Cream Machine is down». I mean really how incompetent can the employees be to where they aren’t refilling the ice cream machine in time so that the mixture will harden enough so that any customer that pulls up to get ice cream, can have some and not be turned away. I went to their location with my family again last night and of course the same thing occured…(The Ice Cream Machine Was Down). My best advice to any customer who wants ice cream in the Covington Area… just go to Chick-​Fil-​a, Zaxbys, or Scoops on the Square if you don’t feel like going to the actual grocery store to buy ice cream. #TheManagerShouldKnowBetter, #Ridiculous

Service has always been good (and I live within 4 miles) and the food always tastes fresh.

The people that work here are extremely rude. When we pressed the «RED» Button we were asked to please wait, after a 10 minute wait we were late by 5 minutes for the ½ price «happy hour» deal. When I brought it up I was told that she checked and we, «weren’t here in time and I could either order or leave and have a nice day!» I ordered due to hungry kids, the girl that delivered our food was Natalie and she was the one that took our order too. I don’t expect a lot when I go to a fast food establishment but to be treated like she was doing me a favor just really made me angry and to be called a liar in front of my kids was especially ridiculous! I suggest anyone traveling through Covington or the good folks that live here do themselves a favor and avoid this Sonic and go to one in Conyers, Georgia.
