Composite review:
This is the main state store for the Cranberry area. Decent selections on the wind side; specialized upscale wines available; Chairman’s Select is always interesting to look at, and shifts frequently. Store folk have been helpful; a couple know a lot about wines in general, and specifically the wines produced in PA (which they have 5 or more shelves of). Easy access; easy parking; help with boxes to cars (even in busy holiday season). Only «issue» is that the jam the isles with so much product it is often difficult to review what is on the lower shelves (this is a state layout apparently and not under direct store control).
Good shopping experience.

This is the closest full size store near me and I rarely go here. I’d much rather go just about anywhere else. First off, parking is a pain. The Cranberry Mall parking is notoriously pitiful. Secondly, the «service» there is awful. It’s the epitome of a state run enterprise and no one seems to be working, no one knows anything, the shelves are rarely stocked, and it’s hard to find anything in here.
If you’re looking for a particular Chairman’s Select wine, go elsewhere. If they have it, it’s hidden and no one knows where. In fact, go elsewhere no matter what you’re looking for. This is the poster child for why privatization is necessary!

For a PA State store this one has a better selection than most. When wines are on sale — they always seem to be out of stock. They need to do a better job of managing their inventory.

One of the bigger spirit stores around. This place is always busy and there is a ton of stuff to look at here. They have a great selection of wine. Half of the store just consists of their wine selection. If they don’t have a wine you are looking for, you can get a case of it shipped to the store for pick up.
I like their selection of local wines. I just about died when I saw Sweedish Hill Winery had a couple bottles to choose from. Gotta love Finger Lakes wine! I did however notice their prices were a dollar more than another store ten miles down the road. May want to take note of this when you are buying in bulk for parties and such.

This is a great store. Good selection and very helpful service. I am generally looking for something that I don’t know exactly what it is. And they can figure it out for me and help my find it.
