History
Established in 2008.
Bob took up bread making in a big way while living in Ireland. He attended the top culinary school in Ireland and worked in 2 top restaurants in Dublin as well as in a large production bakery. When the time came for him to set up shop, the idea of building a bit more around the bread was explored & agreed —

Business Owner
Bob had a technical and educational career with a Fortune 500 firm for many yrs. When he moved to Ireland in 2000, he went into the same field, however — the time for change meant more that geography. He soon took up a longtime love — cooking and baking. He entered the top school in Ireland and after a year, decided that baking and breads were for him. More schooling, work in top restaurants and work in a production bakery were all part of his plan and training for opening his own place. The Blue Rooster allows him to make great bread every day. And he does!
