He does great work! He took in the waist and sides for my work uniform skirt. Looks perfect now!
Tailors are in line with the Keep What You Have mentality. As opposed to the current widespread disposable culture. And I love that. I’m sure I’ll be bringing him more projects in the future.

A hidden gem on Park Ave.
He isn’t on the second floor of the Steve’s Pizza plaza anymore, but is the building that faces Warwick Ave with the strange train store. Most of the building is pretty sad and vacant, but EJ’s is there.
I’ve only brought him pants to hem (I’m positive he’s capable of much more and that hemming my pants is probably not the best utilization of his skills) but the work is excellent quality and he’s very nice. He’s hemmed every pair of chef pants and jeans I’ve purchased over the past year and I wouldn’t hesitate to trust him with a more complex project.
If your clothes don’t fit quite right, EJ is the man for you.

Great place, awesome man. Respectful and professional tailor. His 20+ years of experience shows in his work. Just a great local tailor. He was once on Reservoir Ave but recently moved onto Park Ave down near Warwick Ave in the Steves Pizza plaza, right on the second floor with the stairs a little hidden in the middle of the plaza. Highly recommended and definitely a permanent tailor for me and my friends.
