My couple of experiences with Dr. Elson & his staff have been a delight!
Just a couple of months ago my daughter (needle & dentist terrified) had to have a root from a baby tooth removed. She tried everything under the sun to avoid going to the OS but in the end she had no choice. Like a good mother I took her to see the OS that I trust & like (I had my wisdom teeth out here too)
The staff takes care of all the insurance part. The consult is not covered by insurance.
The nurse could see right away how terrified my daughter was and helped with a bubbly, super friendly attitude and this was only the consult! When the doctor came in he explained with great detail everything he was going to do & it seemed to calm her nerves.
Skipping ahead to the appointment I was unsure how it would all unfold. Happily the staff & doctor took over and relieved any concerns she had. After she was ready for the procedure I stayed in the waiting room, being the worrisome mom, I knew she could read me like a open book and I would only make the situation tense. The doctor came out to get me as soon as she was done and told me everything went great! Indeed it had.
Now in a few short weeks my teenage son will be seeing Dr. Elson for his wisdom teeth consult.
