Great brewery with interesting casks and small batch beers. Many breweries stick to only a few, but they have interesting experimental-ish brews and their tasting room/lounge downstairs is great.

Pretty cool place! The tasting room opened in November so they’re still tweaking and moving things around but I can definitely see the potential in Revival as a hangout place. To start off, the beer is really good. For my tasting I got the Conga Imperial(9.5%) which was incredibly smooth and dangerous, the RIPTA(9%) and another one I can’t recall. My friend seemed to like his choices as well. As for the place, there’s a bunch of couches and it’s a pretty relaxed environment. Corn hole, ping pong and a small soccer net are all available as well. Definitely a place I would go to with a group. Plenty of parking available, just remember that the place is hidden under Brutopia!

Great food and great assortment of dark beers for those of us that think IPA’ s are not drinkable.

I love this place! White Electric Coffee Stout is one of my top three favorite beers in the state and my favorite coffee beer to date. The tasting room is great and I come often as they are constantly changing things up and experimenting with lots of different styles, flavor combinations, and brewing techniques. Compared to many brewery tasting rooms that only offer you their common beers, I love that this place is always bringing something new to the table. Stay a while, grab some bombers to go, and throw a record on, it’s a good time.

Had a great time at this hidden gem! Cool games, better music. I mean, how could you not love the Zeppelin beer? Try this place and you’ll be back sooner than later.

Cool tasting room in the basement of brutopia, a couple beers were great the rest were good they were working out keg issues as we were sprayed with beer twice. But overall the staff was great and I would definitely give this place another go.

Returned the second time for a tasting since our first experience was so enjoyable. This time it was Michaela who was our bartender(last time we had Kat). Tasting format has changed and on this visit it was $ 5.00 for 3 samples –last time it was $ 5.00 for pretty much anything they had available on tap. There were several beers to sample and normally my husband and I would have opted to try different beers and share, but on this day I had a bad cold so we each did our own sampling. Michaela was amazing and so knowledgable –we could have stayed all afternoon to talk to her! Sean was there and in and out, he is so laid back and friendly and poured us a sample of an experimental beer he had on cask which was a pilsner with green tea and mint. While it was not our style we appreciated his gesture and being lucky enough to get a taste. Our two favorites on this visit were the sour munk and the bifrost bareywine. We are huge fans of Revival and we are so glad there is finally a real tasting room! We are already looking forward to our next visit to see what they have up next!

Amazing Brewery at Brutopia in Cranston! Sean Larking, the amazing head brewer who worked at Trinity for many years, is now brewing full time at his own brewery. He also brews the house beers for Brutopia BBQ which is on the same property. The Brewery entrance is around back from the restaurant, and they usually ask that you park around back if you are not planning on eating at the restaurant(though the restaurant is worth checking out as well). They offer tours and tastings basically every day now but its still worth checking their hours online just to be safe. He is making some amazing beer there including lots of experimental one-offs that are only served at the brewery. You can buy bottles and get growlers here as well. And you can bike here from Providence by taking the Washington bike path that starts in Cranston. Revival/Brutopia is about a 5 minute ride from the bike path.

Exceeded all of our expectations. A small place with a lot of character. Their selection of beers was outstanding and the creativity and love they put into their craft shined through. The staff was attentive and easy to talk to. Most impressively, the brewmaster was there and was wonderful to speak to. Will definitely be coming back.

Words can’t explain the hospitality and great atmosphere provided in the tasting room at Revival Brewery. The entrance is hidden under Brutopia but what a great find! I enjoyed sampling many great craft beers, the bartender Michaela was super friendly and knowledgeable about everything available. I honestly can’t wait to come back and sample more amazing beer by Revival Brewing! Rhode Island’s best craft beer experience is found here.

I came here with a group of friends for the brewery tour on a snowy evening. The staff were incredibly friendly and waited long after our initial scheduled tour. It is certainly apparent that the staff are passionate about their company and their beer and even for a non-beer lover, I got sucked into the mood of beermania. The actual tour itself was lackluster as there were only a few vats and the whole place smelled like a frat house. The best part was the beer tasting, 3 very nicely sized portions of the house beers with unlimited sample tasting as well. I really enjoyed one of the wine/beer aged in a bourbon barrel. The other beer were… meh, I’m not a big fan of sour beer. I havne’t had a chance to eat at the affiliated restaurant, but I hear good things, so I’ll make a separate review at another day.

Tucked right below Brutopia you will find the home of the one and only Revival Brewing Company. The atmosphere is very laid back and low key, like you are hanging out in a friends basement equipped with a pinball machine, corn hole and of course some incredibly fantastic draft beers for you to sample and enjoy. Head brew master Sean Larkin is a master of his craft, he brews with a passion which is evident in the quality and diversity of the beers that are available to try. From IPA’s to the signature White Electric coffee stout, there is no shortage of different options to sample and depending on when you stop in you never know what small batch sour variety or bourbon barrel aged beers might make its way on draft. Besides great beer, the staff working at Revival are very friendly and knowledgeable when it comes the brews themselves(big shout out to Michaela and Kat). They help walk you through the tasting & are able to answer any questions. Also, before you leave there is a nice selection of bomber bottles to choose from to purchase to take home with you, not to mention creative t-shirts and glassware as well. No matter if you are a novice or a beer enthusiast, you should get over to Revival, enjoy some great beers and show support for this awesome local microbrewery.

Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon with my cousin. Tasted a bunch of amazing beer and a brand spanking new brew called Up Shitz Kriek! It has a killer tart cherry soul and sat in a Jonathan Edwards barrel … Played some records and had a game of beanbag toss with my cousin and a couple my cousin and I struck up a conversation with while looking around… I highly recommend stopping by the Revival Tasting Room for a nice, generous sampling of their beers; some super exclusive to its visitors. All around good, friendly company, welcoming beer master and knowledgeable staff… Not to mention the hockey nets!!! Beer, socializing and games. Say no more… Revival Tasting Room…

Not only a knowledge staff and very welcomeing, but the head brewer/owner is very down to earth and humble, which in my opinion is very hard to find in this age of craft brewing. The compassion, and love for the art of craft brewing is perfectly represented by the quality of the beer, as well as in the staff, and has made revival one of my favorites.
