Description

Specialties

Rhode Island Rehabilitation Center has been serving Rhode Island for more than 20 years through seven locations. We have built our reputation on providing high quality, hands-on, one-on-one care. Our goal is to improve the quality of life for each of our patients by helping them reduce their pain and improve their functional mobility.

We specialize in expert one-on-one physical and occupational therapy, effective whole body pain relief, aquatic therapy, Pilates, personal training, and restoration of functional activities and movement. Our emphasis is on providing manual therapies which offer our patients the benefits of one-on-one, uninterrupted time with their therapist. In addition to manual techniques, our therapists are well-trained in the use of cutting edge modalities to manage pain and inflammation and in therapeutic exercises to restore flexibility, strength, endurance, balance, coordination, functional mobility, and activities of daily living.

History

Established in 1992.

For over two decades, we have been working to make life better for the patients who are referred to our care. We have six locations that serve greater Rhode Island: Cranston, Warren, East Providence, Providence, East Greenwich, and Pawtucket.

RI Rehab offers services that address a range of health issues that span many disciplines. We integrate traditional physical therapy methods such as manual therapy, functional therapy, and therapeutic exercise, with more holistic wellness programs such as yoga, nutrition and massage to offer a complete continuum of care. We offer women’s health services with a female-only staff to provide physical therapy for issues that are sometimes personal in nature such as pelvic pain and incontinence. We believe in the importance of continuing education and strive to keep on top of the latest advancements and newest technologies so that we can offer the most cutting edge modalities of care for our patients.
