This is now called Safeway Oil Change and Automotive Services. Different staff, different management. Much more friendly, no complaints.

This place was terrible. We just moved to the area to had to get our cars inspected. We took one car here and it was the worst decision we made. They were rude and took forever! They were so bad we took our other car to another location! The other place had the car inspected and approved in ¹⁄₅^th of the time it took speedee oil. The staff makes you feel like you’re wasting their time and its a bother you’re even there. If you want to waste your entire day and want horrible service, go here. I would recommend ANY other place over here!

I went to SpeeDee for an inspection sticker. Big mistake. Another customer who I was speaking to told me they tried to sell him everything but the kitchen sink. He went in for an oil change.
They told me I needed my front brake pads replaced and the rear pads were almost as bad. They grabbed me for a $ 39. inspection fee and wouldn’t give me a sticker.
These people prey on the uninformed. I would never normally go to one of these scam artists but my state sticker was going to expire. Stay away.

My back was up against a corner and I needed to get my new struts and shocks and blocks installed into my truck. It was November 10, 2012 a Saturday and no mom and pop shops were open and the major chains wouldn’t help because it wasn’t there product. So with being up against a corner my job has me on the road 90% of a month. So they said they could do my truck for me. I dropped off the truck to them at 9:30 in the morning. I didn’t hear anything from them all day and when I showed up 30 mins before they closed at 4. They told me they couldnt get the upper A arm to close down with the spindle because of the added spacer. I told them go ahead and take the spacer out because I need my truck for work on Monday. The manager told me it would have to wait until Monday because he had somewhere to be at 4:30. So I was stranded all day Sunday with out a car and now I have to wait Monday morning making me late to get to the job site to do my job for a customer. I will be walking int there in the morning and going to ask to have a conversation on getting the cost reduced if they do not want to work with me I do have the corporate office phone number and will call right there on the spot. I am pissed
It doesn’t matter You had my truck since 9:30 in the morning. When I showed up at 3:30 you had one of your employees washing his car and and then when I walked around to the side you were the only one working while the others were texting. If you didn’t think you could finish the truck in the days time you should have not excepted the responsibility to do when you have another car on the lift. I walked by several times it wasn’t like you were slammed for 6 hours like D&MTyres. And like I said earlier One person told me one thing on fitment of parts and one told me something else. Basically from what I have been taught through the military and from my parents you don’t end a job until you have it finished and the customer is happy.

And like I told you this morning I wasn’t trying to get service for free I would like it discounted for the inconvience I caused you and your 4:30 appointment. Don’t worry I called both the New England corporate office and the Big office corporate office abou your lack of managing a shop and not having control of your employees and the inconvience of me being strainded for the day with out a vehicle.
