Established in 1943.

Tasca Automotive Group was founded by Bob Tasca, Sr. in 1943 in Bristol, RI. Nearly 70 years later Bob’s children and grandchildren continue his legacy of customers satisfaction. The company has grown to include Ford, Lincoln, Mazda, and Volvo at three locations. The family tradition of Ford high performance also continues with the Tasca Mod Shop, Tasca Cobra Jet, and Tasca NHRA nitro funny car. I thought Tasca was gonna be good to me.
It all started when I began my lease on my 2013 Mazda3. For starters, I test drove one with automatic locks. And I told my sales man I wanted the EXACT car in black. A week later after all the paperwork and credit checks, I was given a car and with manual locks. Seriously? I never got a phone call saying this or asking me if I wanted another color. Then I was told there was nothing that they could so since the paperwork was already drawn up.
So I just said screw it. It’s only for 3 years. I’ll deal.
Then someone hit me. Took it to their body shop. They installed the bumper incorrectly. And it is the off and sticking up it on the passenger side. I brought it to their attention and they just «popped» it back in. And guess what it popped itself back out.
Also I was charged 20 bucks for a tire patch as I had a screw in my tire. I have paperwork from toyo saying my tires has road hazard warranty on them.
Now almost 3 years later I’m at my last oil change before I return the car. I decided to go to Flood Mazda because they had a special that I couldn’t pass up being someone who likes to save money. And low and behold the Tasca service center has been putting the wrong oil in my car since my first oil change. My car requires a full synthetic oil while they have just been putting in normal oil into it.
When it comes time to turn in my lease and look for a new Mazda I’m gonna stick with Flood.
Let me just put it this way, I’m not satisfied.

I was NOT completely satisfied and would NOT recommend Tasca Service. For the second time in three years my 2013 Ford Focus has had the problem of transmission clutch shudder. Both times I have needed to leave my vehicle for diagnosis during working hours because that is the only time Tasca Service will diagnosis the problem (7−9am Monday through Friday). Due to The Ford Company’s policy of not issuing a rental during diagnosis and working too far away for Tasca’s work shuttle I have missed two days of work. Either offer rentals in extenuating circumstances or hire a technician to work nights or weekends. This will be the last time I get my vehicle services at Tasca.

If you expect good service — do not come here. My car has been sitting at a service station since early this morning. I called multiple times, trying to check the rules in my warranty. Three times, I was cut off while they transferred me to the service department. When I finally got through, they transferred me again to someone’s voice mail in the building next door. After waiting another hour for a reply, I called back again. It’s 45 minutes later and I’m still waiting. Worst experience ever at a very stressful time. Worst dealer experience ever.

Had my 95′ Thunderbird towed to Tasca for an actuator rod (s) in steering column. They wanted $ 522.00 for the job! This is an hour job! It would be $ 60 for parts and an hour labor… somewhere around $ 200. And that being generous ! They are scammers!!!

I took my car to their collision center for repair since I bought it there. 1 week later they haven’t started working on it. On top of this they don’t answer the phone when I try to inquire what the status of this repair is. I get transferred from person to person and to their voicemails because as I said before no one bothers to return my calls. I guess this is nothing new since I read all these reviews and there is not even a good one and the owner does not bother to respond to any… Well, at least they are consistent… If you know what is good STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. I wish I could give them NO STARS… even one is way too generous for the type of disservice you get

Mechanic after taking customer’s car out while talking on phone:
«Oh man, it was good today. You know that guy we know, he sells wine now, he used to work for us? He brought a bottle of wine and I told the guy, we gotta put this in the fridge, me and this other kid. When it was like 3 o’clock… we went to the wine. Just me and him, it was good. Whooooo.» Dashboard cam shows the time to be 3:25pm. Make your own decision.

Make sure you take all your valuable items out of your car before you drop it off. A service technician stole my $ 180 sunglasses. I guess that goes with the turf when you’re dealing with scum.

I gave it two stars because I liked buying my car here. Its just the service that does not work. I first tried to stop by their «fast lane» because my car was due for an oil change. They had too many people in line. One guy behind the counter. Very obvious this was not going to be a fast event, So I left and called the service department. I scheduled an appointment for the next day to have the oil changed. I told them all I had was a half hour. I have work to do and I don’t have time to go playing around at a dealership. I showed up for my appointment. Guy asked me if I will be waiting for the car. I inform him that obviously I was. Its just an oil change, that I made an appointment for, at a place called the «fast lane». He informed me that Tasca is never able to change oil in less than an hour and a half. He chuckled while he said it. I grabbed my keys and left. Obviously they don’t have the level of staff the local Jiffy Lube does so I went there instead.

If I could give this place no stars I would. I picked up the vehicle for service and $ 757.38 later I turn the car on in the parking lot and the check engine light that I came in to have looked at is still on. The woman at intake was no help because the car was worked on during the day shift and the people that worked on it were gone for the day. The service manager was not even friendly, he just had a better than you type attitude. Never bring your car here!!! They now want even more money to possibly fix the (unknown) problem but no guarantees. Ripoff!

I found a 2014 Focus ST on CARS​.COM that was listed in stock at Tasca. After speaking with Alex Ramos, he said they had one in CT, but could bring it down. I made an appt to check it out later in the week. I then got a call from the sales manager, explaining that if they wanted to bring the car down, I needed to pay a (refundable?) $ 150 deposit. I told them I was not comfortable exchanging money for a test drive.
Pros:
–Alex was very nice over the phone. Also very apologetic.
Cons:
–They did not have the model in stock I was looking for (though they did on their website)
–Had to wait for them to bring car down from CT and schedule a test midweek.
–Wanted to charge me a $ 150 deposit to test-​drive a car

Last week my husband decided it was time to get rid of his old car and get a newer vehicle. We knew that we wanted to go back to Tasca and see the sales associate that helped us before, Michael Mulbah. He was absolutely GREAT with us last time. He got us a great deal and we love our car.
I called Tasca on NYE, we were in the area and wanted to see if Michael was working and sure enough he was. We told him we are on our way and wanted to see him. He was so professional and honest. An honest salesperson is very important in my book. Of course we purchased another vehicle through him. He got us an incredible deal. We couldn’t be happier.
When the lease runs out on my vehicle, I guarantee you that I will be going through Michael again at Tasca.
Not only was Michael great but the other staff there were so friendly as well. We had our one year old son with us and everyone who walked by him stopped and said hello or smiled at him. They made us feel very welcomed.
They also have a LARGE inventory. Its great to have options. We knew what we wanted when we got there but of course looked around, as we had an open mind and weren’t set on just that one vehicle. And when it came time to finalize our deal, it was nice to be able to choose what color vehicle we wanted.
A+ service and A+ facility. We highly recommend.

Sales at Tasca is awful. Do not waste your time in their showroom.
At first I was impressed with the sales team. I went in to test drive and said I was going to drive a few other cars before I made a decision. The salesman respected me and didn’t call every day after as most dealers do. When I made the decision to go back in to purchase the car that’s where it took a wrong turn.
We waited for a good hour for the salesman I was working with previously and while we sat in the showroom no other salesperson came to help or ask if they could get us anything. When we finally got into the office to discuss options we were interrupted constantly and the sales manager was not focused on us. When he was finally able to pay attention he would not meet us at a mutually agreeable number. We decided at that time it was best to leave.
After about a week we went back in after researching other options and asked for information from the car we wanted but the sales manager was too busy flirting with my mom to give us the information we wanted and an honest deal.
Tasca is a factory, not a company that cares to get drivers into the right car for the right price. I am extremely disappointed and will never recommend Tasca to anyone.
At the end of the day I was able to get an honest deal from another dealer who was willing to take the time to respect us and cared about getting us in the right car for the right price.

Best car dealer around — period. My family and I have bought a half dozen vehicles here over the last few years after a TERRIBLE experience with Prestige Auto Mart. Couldn’t have been happier with our purchases. They stand behind their vehicles and each one is solid. A special thanks to salesman Lou Colon for being so great to deal with. He comes off as honest and genuine (rare in the car sales biz) and he always recommends the right vehicle.
The one thing i’ve learned in the car buying experience is that you should always pick the DEALER before the VEHICLE. I learned the hard way by trying to buy a car I really liked at a crappy dealer.
I’ll definitely be back!

So, the service manager reached out to me. Found me a lower price, I went back to give them a second chance, Big Mistake.
Every time I take my car here, they find something wrong. Not only that, they find something wrong in the same damn area they just fixed.
Either they’re doing a piss-​poor job of fixing things, doing a piss-​poor job at safety inspections, or just lying to me to get more money.
Never again.
