History
Established in 2003.
The Time Capsule was originally located in Warwick from 1993 – 1998. It was called Time Capsule Comics. When we re-opened the store in Cranston, we changed the name to The Time Capsule to reflect the changes in our product mix. Along with comic books and toys we also carry a large selection of vinyl records as well as vintage video games.
Meet the Business Owner
Robert Y.
Business Owner
In 1986 I applied for my 1st retail sales license when I was 15 years old so I could set up at a local comic book convention. I have been selling comic books, toys and other pop culture related items ever since. In 1993 I opened my 1st retail store named Time Capsule Comics, I sold that store in 1998 to move to California. I moved around a bunch and mostly just sold on the internet until 2003 when I opened up The Time Capsule and have been working at this store full time ever since. I expanded the types of collectibles I sell and today I have a very large selection of back issue comics, new comics, trade paperbacks, vinyl records, toys and vintage video games. I am always seeking out collections to provide the public the best selection possible.

«Besides being one of the owners, it’s a great place to get locally sourced food, drink great micro brews & a fantastic place to see live music!»
