The Magnolia Room

I choose the Magnolia Room for a baby shower. It’s quite nice inside; there’s a big event room and a smaller area for showers, birthday parties, etc. Both are beautifully decorated. The mother to be came with me to tour the place and really liked the Garden Room so we booked it on the spot.
Here are the cons if you’re planning on using the Garden Room for a similar event,
1) You can only arrive 1 hour prior to set up. Which is not a lot of time, despite what the owners think.
2) No where to store cold food/​no access to the kitchen to heat up food
3) Room is small and gets stuffy quickly with a larger group of people (we had 30 people and I asked twice to have the heat turned down)
The owner was a tad flaky.
If the mother to be didn’t love the place I would have chosen another venue that was more accommodating. That being said, the space is very beautiful.

I have been to The Magnolia Room several times for many different events. To name a few: birthday parties, graduation parties, even a family reunion. I was shocked at how beautiful the space is. Vaulted ceilings, chandeliers, lighting, place settings, ect. And the food was delicious! When I went there it was buffet style so everything was lined up in a side room with a man who carved our meat. I was really surprised to see an elevator right at the front entrance, usually halls have an ugly ramp. Also, the bathrooms are so nice and clean. Idk about you but I hate using the restroom when I’m all dressed up if it’s gross. This one did not disappoint! Lol. I’d recommend this hall to anyone.
