The food and service were nothing short of excellent. The elderly man who took our order(maybe the owner???) was adorable. He was helpful, funny(in an indirect way), and brought our food to us promptly. He even brought out orange slices for dessert afterwards! Everything is also very reasonably priced. Eat here if you’re just traveling through or love Thai food & good, home style service.

Clean restaurant. Don’t judge by outside, lots of buildings in Crescent City need help. Pricing was good. We had a meat dish with no rice since we are low carb folks. The chicken satay was good with cucumber relish dish & peanut sauce. Service was great. We ate early after returning from Redwood Forest. Food was worth the money.

Absolutely NOT worth the time or money! How this place remains open is more of a mystery than trying to figure out what I actually ate. Tonight was a first for me… the first time I’ve had to stop eating and throw away my Thai food. To be clear, the ONLY thing Thai cuisine about this place is in the name of the restaurant. Tasteless, lack luster and overpriced!

Second visit five years later improves my opinion. The food here is good, better than you might expect given the location and general appearance of the place. — Vietnamese chow mein is delicious. I don’t eat shrimp but they happily made it without for me. This is true of all the noodle dishes. — Spicy tofu also delicious and made to the correct level of heat as ordered. — Vegetarian pot stickers, the only thing I’ve tried here that disappoints. Not interesting at all and a poor substitute for the non-vegetarian version. Service can be spotty if you wait, but the gentleman running the orders and food is easily flagged down and is very friendly. I’m a fan of Thai food in general and while Thai House isn’t going to win any James Beard awards, it’s pretty solid.

Stopped by here a month ago and ordered the Panang chicken and Tom kHa soup. Didn’t taste like a Thai person made the food. Just say no and go to the Thai place in Brookings instead.

Not too many customers, servers very friendly and human. Their food? Okay. As I frequent Thai restaurant this hits a 4 for me. I love, love, love Thai cuisine, but this place seemed to be lacking a few ingredients; not that I’d blame them, the area lacks a good asian food supply. Overall i would come here again because of the lovely service and the food is pretty authentic minus the lack of spice.

Very unfriendly place! made a phone order the guy on the other line sounds like he had a very bad day. And when we went to pick up the food we asked for extra peanut sauce, after he charge us he almost threw the small container to our face like he was so annoyed to us. Never coming back here again! Anyways their thai food is taste more like fast food thai So if you wanna take your family to eat and have a good time dont come to this place its so depressing.

I’ve eaten here a couple times — and haven’t been terribly impressed either time. My last visit was in July — I ordered a dish that had«tofu» as the first word in the name and description — it had three pieces of tofu. I was informed by the server that the tofu is more of a condiment and if I wanted more tofu(!) I should order the crispy tofu appetizer. The veggies were ok — if you like celery — and Chinese canned veggies like flavorless bamboo shoots and water chestnuts. Not a ton of options for vegans in Crescent City — but I will make a note to not repeat this mistake on my next trip through!

I didn’t go there for Thai food but for their Vietnamese noodle soup instead. It was the only place local that had it while I stayed in town that night. It was good but just okay. That’s what I get for ordering Vietnamese at a Thai place. The chicken wings were made with too much fish sauce for me to enjoy it. If you like that sort of thing you’ll love them.

We love Thai House! The food is always good, and the service is fast, and efficient. They also do deliveries, which is great, and the food is always jot and delicious :)

I didn’t like the experience overall. The service was okay, food was below average. I have had definitely more delicious Thai food. It felt more like Chinese.

What was being presented as Thai food was more like bad Chinese-american LaChoy. The Spicy Thai Basil was a very bad commercial instant brown soupy-gravy with dry chicken pieces, a few carrots and a smattering of basil. Nothing in Thai cuisine except soup has that much liquid. I still shudder when I think about it. The rice was a basic grain rice they over-cooked and kept too wet trying to mimic a sticky rice but failing. Thai food calls for a better quality rice like jasmine or even a basmati. The Thai spring rolls had no color, or flavor. Where was the scallion, julienne carrot, jalapeño strip, anything. Just bean sprout, lettuce and a very thinly sliced shrimp. Very disappointed with the quality, flavor and even ambiance of this place. I honestly couldn’t finish it, and throwing it out was the best decision of the day.

What I want to say is: the restroom here is very clean, which is really unusual for this kind of small restaurant! Of course, the food is not bad~

The food was good, but the service much better. We ordered Tom yum soup, pineaaple fried rice and vegetable Pad Thai along with bubble tea which is a must. Great little place for a quick bite

Super disappointed. I just moved here. was hoping to get some good food delivered. I ordered a order of sweet and sour chicken… it had just maybe 3 small bite sizes of chick. I’m not kidding, and the rest was all sauce/watered down sauce? THERE’S NOCHICKENINTHESWEETANDSOURCHICKEN!!! Pork fried rice was pretty good… the pork was gristley… so I ate around it. Basically I ate ride with peas. The pad Thai was super strange. I’m from Portland so I know good Thai food. It was pretty bad. Too bad because I was stoked they delivered. I gave it a 2 star because they 1) deliver and 2) I liked the rice part. Sad to say I won’t order again :-(I wish I could post a picture of this«sweet and sour chicken» hahaaa! It’s actually funny as heck! I guess just order sweet and sour SAUCE cause that’s all you get… for my to go order anyways… please fix this people…

Enjoyed a lunch and 2 dinners here during our recent Oregon road trip. Service was friendly and very efficient all 3 times. Our favorite dish was the Spicy Seafood Noodle Soup, which included 4 halves of large scallops and 4 decent sized shrimp, onions, basil, a few tomato pieces, and bean sprouts in a hot and sour soup base. It takes me a few spoonfuls to get used to the soup, but then I love it. We also tried the Salmon in Basil Sauce with veggies. Unfortunately they wouldn’t substitute brown rice for the scoop of white rice that came with it(though they would give us extra brown rice for $ 2). As it turned out, didn’t really need rice at all, as the veggies were not in the sauce so could be eaten as is. The Salmon was delicious, broiled perfectly and the basil sauce added a nice, complimentary flavor. Also had the Thai House BBQ Chicken, which was good but nothing special, and Drunken Noodles, the only disappointing entrée we had. It had chicken, half a dozen or more shrimp, and a few veggies, along with(of course) lots of noodles. But the noodles were very poorly cooked, often stuck together in gobs of 6 or more thick. Not good. Also, despite having ordered it hot(out of mild, medium, or hot), it wasn’t very spicy at all. But the waiter came through with some hot sauce on the side, quickly solving that issue.

A cute little Thai restaurant run by an equally charming family. You’d think you were being served in their own dining room. We had arrived in town late the night before and wanted to have dinner here, but they, like many restaurants in town, were closed by 8:30. So the next day, we went for a hike in the Redwoods and came back starving for some SE Asian food for lunch. We were brought to our table and given menus by a young girl and were served by whom I assume is her grandfather. I think that mom and dad were working the kitchen. Grandfather told us about the specials of the day and my wife ordered the Grilled Wild Salmon, while I went with the ol’ favorite, Chicken & Shrimp Pad Thai. My wife’s brother and our son ordered the Vietnamese beef noodle & the mixed seafood noodle soup. We all shared chicken satay and summer rolls as appetizers. Everything was very fresh & homemade and the noodle soups were really hearty & flavorful. It’s great to see a family run business do well, especially one that spans 3 generations! This one’s a keeper.
