Established in 1978.

Dr. Steven Laifer is committed to provide you with excellence in general and restorative dentistry, in a caring and gentle way. He strives to build long-​lasting dental relationships, one smile at a time, and Dr. Laifer takes great pride in helping his patients to achieve a high level of dental health and esthetics.

After graduating in 1975 from the New York University College of Dentistry, while working at the New York VA Hospital, Dr. Laifer completed a rigorous two year Internship/​Residency at the Long Island College Hospital from 1975 – 1977, serving as Chief Resident in General Dentistry from 1976 – 1977.

Dr. Laifer has been an Attending Dentist and a Clinical Instructor at Englewood Hospital since 1979. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association and Bergen County Dental Society. He was the School Dental Officer for the Cresskill School System for many years.Dr. Laifer has been serving the people of Cresskill and adjacent areas since 1978.

After graduating in 1975 from the New York University College of Dentistry, where he participated in the Orthodontics Honors program and worked at the New York VA Hospital, Dr. Laifer completed a rigorous two year Internship/​Residency at the Long Island College Hospital from 1975 – 1977, serving as Chief Resident in General Dentistry from 1976 – 1977.

Dr. Laifer keeps abreast of the dynamic changes in dental materials and technology through continuing education. After passing a rigorous examination and completing 500 hours of clinical continuing education, Dr. Laifer was awarded a prestigious Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in 1982.
