I wish I could give them zero stars I tried to call them to place my order with no answer so I went to the restaurant just to find them closing at 9:50 when they clearly state on line & on their own door they close at 11 when we ask them why they’re closing early the man had an attitude and closed the door on our face smh

I had a Groupon and went in with fairly low expectations given some of the prior reviews. I have been to this Harold’s but typically order a half chicken dinner. Again ordered an 8 piece along with a four piece catfish dinner.
The chicken was typical of the location which is very good. Crispy crust with the right amount of mixed hot and mild sauce. The catfish was outstanding. A light cornmeal crust around moist and flaky midsize fillets that were evenly cooked and not overdone
I can’t say enough about the meal. The chicken was moist yet crunchy and the catfish fillets were outstanding
I preordered and the meal was ready within the 20 minutes quoted. The counter service was friendly, polite and prompt
Great experience and will be back again!

I would give it a 0 if I could! We drove here on a Sunday seeing that they close at 11pm. Got there at 10 and they were CLOSED! What? Even their door sticker says 11pm! So we then drove to the next Harold’s in Country Club Hills and were confronted with a sign that said they moved across the street Harold’s needs to update Their info on Unilocal

I went to this Harold’s as I didn’t want to drive to my usual one. First, I waited over ten minutes to order as there was only one person working. After waiting twenty minutes for my food, I got it home to find there was NO SAUCE!!! After calling numerous times to complain about my order, someone finally answered after the fifth attempt to tell me I could come back & get the mild sauce. WTF! I believe this is a bootleg Harold’s.

First, they don’t answer the phone to order for pick up. Then, the wait is nearly an hour for 8 pieces of chicken! They just don’t seem to care about customer service at all.

Too bad you’re not allowed to give 0 stars… what would anyone think of a place that takes an order for a 24 pc bucket of wings 1 ½ hours before your pick up time. You drive over 5 miles to get there. You arrive and are told they ran out of wings. No, they don’t reserve wings for advance orders. No, they don’t call you ahead of time to save you a trip for nothing. And no, they don’t apologize for for any of it. No shame. They don’t care.

Barbecue was awesome! I love Harold’s wings, they are above and beyond the size of hot wings ordered from any other chicken place. The staff at this particular Harold’s seemed to really appreciate the business and was as pleasant as could be.

This was my second visit-​one in person and the other by phone order. The place is clean and the staff pleasant. Their phone etiquette was not as strong. My sauce was skimpy, but the food tasted great and the wait time was fast. I think the prices are higher overall after 5pm (over $ 1 per wing), but there are not many good chix locations nearby. I won’t frequent them as much as I could because of their higher prices but I am still a watchful fan… St. John 3:16

Another day, another Harolds.
There was another chicken place at this location but it closed. It was nice to come across a brand spanking new Harolds. I interrogated the staff on their Harolds number and they said they were so new they didn’t know it yet.
They had reasonably priced lunch specials which included a pop. So I got my Harolds fix: great chicken slathered in sauce served with fries atop white bread. Not better or worse than any other Harolds, just some great comfort food.
Despite being new, service was pleasant and friendly.
