This was our first time here for food. Always coffee before and the soups are AMAZINGLY good. We had the BLT, Vegetable Beef & Tomato soups. They were homemade and the sandwiches were delicious. Friendly owner and prices were reasonable. Found a new favorite spot.

Great breakfast! Went here for the first time after passing it by for years. Good prices, and the breakfast platter was delicious.

While driving through Crestwood, on the hunt for a small diner that serves breakfast, we rolled past this restaurant. If you’re not looking for it, you will miss it! After speaking with some of the locals, it seems this café has been here for several years. Many of the teachers from the school across the street and people from nearby businesses frequent this restaurant and I can see why. Don’t let one of the previous reviews deter you from at least trying the Latte Café at least once. Although they do not have a large breakfast menu, you will probably find something that will tickle your taste buds and fill your belly. This restaurant is truly a small gem of a place. The previous review hit it on the spot. This reminds us of small country cafes that don’t fuss with a huge menu and outrageously fancy coffee gimmicks. This is a small restaurant with good food and good coffee. By the way, they DO in fact serve lattes. All you have to do is ask… When you dine in and order coffee, the great thing is you don’t have to wait for the staff to refill your coffee. The coffee carafes are sitting off to the side and you can get up and refill your cup any time you please. There are only about 12 – 13 tables to sit so I would recommend timing your visit at the right moment. Although we were not there during a lunch rush, we were there just before lunch and the place was packed with patrons quickly. We had the Paul’s Wrap and the Café Omelet with everything. Both items were delicious and the wheat bread was toasted just right! There is nothing like a perfectly toasted piece of bread, with the right amount of butter, to compliment a great breakfast entrée. The potatoes also tasted great and although I couldn’t figure out what/how they cooked the potatoes… I didn’t care because they were awesome. The best part of this visit??? The pancakes. Bar none, some of the best pancakes we have EVER had! Being from a big city and being used to the«Typical Greek Breakfast Joints» we have been searching for good breakfast diners/small restaurants within the Northeast end of LOUKY. There is a small gem of a place in Crestwood and it’s called Latte Café.

For being a «latte café» there sure isn’t much latte. Why is this the name? I stopped in for coffee and when I ordered a coffee I was handed a cup and pointed to the carafes on the sideboard. Hmmm… So I made a cup and went on my way. There is NOCOFFEEMENU. Shouldn’t there be a coffee menu for a coffee place? I would have ordered a fancy coffee drink if I knew they could make me one. But, they do have an extensive food menu and good pasta salad.

This place oozes Kentucky charm. The décor takes me back to my Grandma’s kitchen, all the way down to the fingerpaintings from local preschool students lining one of the walls. I happened upon this place while searching for a coffee shop near Pee Wee Valley. I missed it on my first drive-by and then was certain I was walking into someone’s home when I finally found it. That’s when I was positive this was going to be a good break from the chain coffee shops around town. Don’t let the name of the place fool ya– it’s more reminiscent of a southern diner than a coffee shop, with a full breakfast and lunch menu. And breakfast is served until 2 pm– score! The free wi-fi and the tempting breakfast wraps are a guarantee I will return soon.
