Established in 2002.

The Marks Law Firm L.L.C. is family owned. Jonathan Marks and Murry Marks decided to start their own practice in 2002. The Marks have 60 years of combined legal experience in family law, divorce law, criminal law, and personal injury law.

Murry Marks has been involved in over 1,000 criminal and civil trials. He principally handles cases in the areas of criminal defense and personal injury. He is a Life Member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (2001), a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum (2008), was selected to Who’s Who in American Law (1990-​present), and named Distinguished Fellow of the St. Louis Bar Foundation (1992).

Jonathan Marks practices in the area of family law, including dissolution of marriage proceedings, large asset and complex custody litigation, motions to modify, paternity actions, prenuptial agreements, and other related matters. He has handled over 1000 family law matters and has extensive training in mediation.

Jonathan Marks received his Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Missouri — Columbia in 1993 and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri — Columbia in 1997.

Jonathan’s practice focuses on the areas of Family Law in both State and Federal Courts at trial and appeal.

Jonathan D. Marks received the AV Preeminent Rating from the world’s most trusted legal resource, Martindale-​Hubbell, which is the highest possible rating in both legal ability and ethical standards; has been designated as a Super Lawyer by Missouri/​Kansas Super Lawyers Magazine in 2013 and was previously designated as a Super Lawyer Rising Star from 2008 through 2011; and was recognized by Missouri Lawyers Weekly as one of Missouri’s Up & Coming Lawyers in 2008.
