Some of our furniture was damaged during a move and our relocation company connected us with Clarke’s restoration. It took over three months to get a simple piece of wood from our dining room table returned. We began the process with Steven V. In October and missed out on having any of our holiday meals in our new home on our dining table. We took off from work for 3 scheduled appointments, all of which where no shows. Because he was paid upfront for the table repair by our relo company, he made little attempt to follow through and took no accountability for the no-shows. He did tell us that we would have to wait until he had other jobs in our area to justify returning our table parts back to us!!! We live less than 12 miles away in a neighboring community and all appointments were made during non-traffic times convenient to him. This was perhaps the worst customer service I’ve ever received, just not sure how a person like this stays in business. The icing was finally agreeing upon a 4th appointment and him showing up 35 minutes late with no help and asking me if I would help him carry my table up the stairs. I would avoid this business at all costs and the cheesy upsell for his sliders, which we did not buy as a result of his beyond poor service.
