Chesapeake Bay Roasting Company

I used to do business with this Company when it was Kiaris coffee for twenty years. Now the new management only thinks about is money. If you want to place an order and talk to them good luck. You will only get a messaging recorder. I guess all the employees like to work from home with their computer. The CEO threatened my company that he was going to come to my location with the Sherriff and pick up his coffee machine. He made this remark without even validating the owner of the equipment. It’s been six months and haven’t seen the Sherriff or him yet. I guess he finally realized that my company owned the machine. Stay away from them. There are a a lot of good coffee roasters with much better quality and pricing that are awaiting your welcomed business.

The coffee isn’t bad. It is fair trade, and organic. If gives you a good feeling knowing that you haven’t oppressed anyone for your caffeine fix!
However, what is great, is that they package their coffee in reusable metal tins that serve very well for a free, 15 minute wood gas stove that can boil water, cook on, and yes, even brew coffee on just twigs and sticks!
I really appreciate a company that instead of using plastic packaging, uses something useful like reusable tins!
It’s good coffee that you can use the tin it comes in to brew itself, what a bonus!

This is a great place to get affordable real food at the airport on the D Concourse. Coffee is good and the eggs and bacon on the bagel are made to order.
