Description

Specialties

We’re Puttin’ Cromberg Back on the Map. Somewhere between Nashville, Tennessee and the San Francisco Bay, Cromberg is now home to its own blend of familiar slow cooked favorites at Neighbors Bar-B-Que. Kyle Miller and family have opened Neighbors Bar-B-Que at the historic home of the Cedar Tavern at the intersection of Highway 70 and Gill Ranch Road.

History

Established in 2011.

How y’all doing?

This corner of the world has seen many changes since 1935 when on June 8th, the Feather River Bulletin reported: «The opening of Cedar Tavern, new summer resort located on the Feather River Highway near here, will be celebrated Saturday night. Mr. and Mrs. W.R. Johnson, the owners will serve free sandwiches at a mammoth campfire.»

Now as it was then, this corner will become the place where friends and neighbors gather to eat and share the news.

The idea of Neighbors Bar-B-Que is simple. As in the old days, the owner lives and works at the house. The wines are kept in the cellar, the herbs are grown in the garden and the food is fresh and tasty.

Centered between Portola and Quincy on Highway 70, Neighbors Bar-B-Que is celebrating the past while reshaping the future.
