Since 1980, after working in the home improvement industry for several years, I had the initiative to start my own business. With an old station wagon, borrowed tools and plenty of ambition, I’ve built one of the largest home improvement businesses in Westchester and Putnam County today.

Our work has been recognized and published in nationally distributed magazines and we have earned Certificates of Award and Conformance from six of the country’s largest manufacturers of building materials.

Back in 1980, I began with two beliefs that would be the foundation for me to build a successful company, in an industry that unfortunately has always been tainted:

1) Do the very best job each and every time, down to the smallest detail.

2) Never take a penny until the job is done.

I started that way and continue to do business this way — giving homeowners security in knowing their improvement is just that: A home improvement done most professionally with quality and care.

Franzoso’s completed 2 jobs for me. One was siding and windows. Beautiful! They were fast, clean, polite. They next took on a job (at another property) that started small and rapidly cascaded to a major renovation. Every emerging problem was addressed with us before work was started. They stuck with the job. Other contractors may have walked. Thank you Pete, Mike and everyone who worked so hard. The house is picture perfect inside and out. I recommend Franzoso’s for all contracting work.

This was one of the best experiences with a professional and respectful staff. Benny, Jacob, and Peter made us feel totally confident that this would be accomplished effortlessly, neatly, and provide an excellent roof replacement. Their prices were significantly lower than their competitors with a delivery of higher quality materials.
I would use Franzoso for all of my contracting needs! Can’t wait for them to come to do my next project, the deck!

As a follow-​up to my first review:
A few weeks ago, I needed repair work done on my garage door frame (see some of my other reviews). I telephoned a few companies but was disappointed. Finally, I called Franzoso to see if they could do the work. The ever-​professional, polite office administrator, informed me that Franzoso does not do that kind of work but referred me to someone they use from time to time. Their referral (Ronny with The Honest Handyman Co) arrived promptly and did the work meticulously and at a very fair price. Franzoso gets another A++ for going way out of their way to help a customer. I wish there were more companies out there like them. Highly recommended.

Mark, Your take on reality is an interesting one. I will not get into a debate about all the facts that you have distorted here but I will say this; over the course of nearly 25 years in our home we have been fortunate to work with many contractors (driveway, landscaping, window, interior paint, general renovations, to name a few). We chose them carefully and have been quite pleased with work results and the experience. We have used some of them again and we have recommended many of them to neighbors and friends. So your theory that we are a customer who can not be pleased is simply ridiculous. We have learned a valuable lesson in our dealings with you and your company and will not make the same mistake again.

I contacted Franzoso for a replacement roof. I was told my house was not constructed properly. There were cracks in the chimneys. The estimate was high. I asked whether the chimney repairs were included. Initially they were not. When I did not accept, the chimney repairs were included. The estimate was still 7000 dollars high. i used the low bid and so far the new roof seems fine.

When you want to sign contract, they act very fast, after that, its hard to get contact with them.
Because we saw my neighbor’s house done by Franzoso Contracting, we liked, so we contact them. Even the estaminet they gave us is higher than others, but we still decided to go with them. They answer and return the call very quick, and next day came do the estimate. When we decided to go with them, they came right next day do the contract. It was end of APRIL. And told us it will schedule mid June to start doing our house.
Then they mess up the permit (didn’t fill out the permit properly, and I have to paid the permit twice), so have to wait they applied again. When permit approved,(it’s END of JUNE) already. then they come with all kind excuses (don’t have enough materials, don’t have enough worker…)
They keeping postpone every month. And when you try to call them, they either don’t answer or take few days to call back.
It’s been 4 months since we sign the contract, my house still WAITING for them to start the work.
If you want your house done on time… Don’t choose this company.
Will update when job completed.
We waited 5 months after we signed the contract, they finally finished to fix my chimney and changed siding.

We pulled this contractor off the internet and decided to go with them to put a new roof on a garage in a rental property. They sounded like pros on the phone, came out for a free estimate in a timely manner and delivered THE BEST WORK i have ever seen. They returned our calls on time, they made sure we were satisfied and took no payment until the job was done and approved by us. The roof was beautifully repaired and we received extra TLC for some of the small, unexpected problems that inevitably emerge when renovating.
We decided to have some gutter and leader work done as well that was done quickly and was exceptionally well executed. While not cheap, I feel that their prices are fair when you consider the high quality of workmanship involved. ALL of their personnel, from receptionist to construction worker were of excellent quality. WE RECOMMEND THEM WITHOUT RESERVATION and plan to use them again in the future.
