Frank is awesome! My son broke his ipad Air screen (more like shattered). I had an appt with Apple store to fix it for $ 250. Meanwhile, I did a search for local repair shops and came across 911 tech repair. I left a message Sunday and Frank returned my call promptly the following day, when they opened. He is extremely pleasant to deal with. It not only cost me $ 99 to fix it but it was ready in an hour or so. He definitely made one little boy happy and me as well, with the price. This is definitely going to be my to go place when I have issues with my electronics. Very, very happy!!! Thanks again Frank!

I live in Algonquin and although there is a similar cell phone/​computer repair shop in Algonquin about a mile from my home, their Unilocal reviews were… not great… so I took a chance and brought my son’s broken Galaxy S5 to Frank at 911 Tech Repair in Crystal Lake. I brought it in right before the shop closed one evening. Frank quickly diagnosed the problem and pointed out the cracks in the screen, which were not obvious at first glance. Frank replaced the screen and I got it back the next day and it worked just like new. My daughter had a similar problem with her S5 a few months later (although her issue was due to a bloated battery) which also necessitated a screen replacement. We brought that phone to Tech 911, also, and Frank replaced the screen within an hour or two. I’m not sure I’d recommend the Galaxy S5 due to their propensity for easily broken screens, but I WOULD recommend Tech 911 for their friendly, professional (and quick) service, even if it means driving 15 miles out of my way.

Great service and fast. Had my iPhone 6 repaired after something became lodged in the charging port and the phone is just out of the warranty period. I dropped it off after work and picked it up the next day, it’s working just fine and the repair price was reasonable. Unfortunately I cracked the screen a few days later (totally my own fault) so I will be going back to get their help with that!

I took my daughter’s iPad mini here to get fixed. It had a bunch of cracks and a large chip out of it. I was highly impressed with the customer service and timely matter it was fix (same day only a couple hours). It came back looking brand new! If anything else should break I will be definitely bringing my stuff back here.

I had a cracked iPhone 6 camera lens replaced here this week. I’m glad I called around because the first place quoted me 6 times the price and would have had to order the part. Here, they had the part, fixed the problem in about 30 minutes, and I was truly surprised at how affordable it was. I’ll be pointing all of my friends in this direction for tech repairs!

Frank did an awesome job fixing water damage to my iPhone 6. He did a clean, replaced the screen, the battery, and some connector. The total cost to repair was 1⁄3rd of what it would have cost to replace it with a new device from Apple; totally worth it.
I considered only giving 4 stars, since he would not consider hugs as a form of payment.

I had gone in there to get my IPhone fixed because apparently Verizon couldn’t do it, even though I had insurance on my phone. I took it to 911 Tech Repair. As soon as I got there Frank helped me, I recommend you go to him, he does an excellent job fixing phones. He gave me the price and it was very reasonable, way better than spending all this money on buying a new phone. My headset jack was broken so he fixed it and had to order the part and kindly told me my phone would be ready the next day. He wanted to make sure everything was perfect when fixing my phone. This place is awesome. I recommend you go there if anything ever happens to your phone, because if you go anywhere else they will just over charge you. Oh and don’t forget to ask for Frank. I give this place 5 stars

Excellent service. The guy Frank was very helpful and helped me find out that computer was actually perfectly fine versus what Best Buy had told me which would’ve cost me almost $ 1000 dollars! BB had told me that I may need a new motherboard, but my computer just needed to be turned off for a few days. So far my computer is running great, and Frank didn’t charge me a dime. The company is very helpful and if I ever have a problem they will be my go to store.

Today my iPad slid off my desk and landed facedown on the hardwood floor, shattering. 45 minutes later I was in this shop and Frank was awesome. He totally reassured me that it was all going to be just fine, I’d have my iPad back this afternoon. He was true to his word. Just a bit over two hours later he called and it was ready for pickup. It’s as good as new, and cost a fraction of what apple would charge, done in a fraction of the time. I’m a PHD candidate visiting family before I return to Italy, so I was very impressed with the speed. Excellent customer service, excellent repair, excellent price!!!
Update: these guys are consistent. Had another problem, went in Friday at 10 AM, device was fixed within hours, another job well done!

These guys are awesome! Went to another repair shop in Algonquin, were the person told me that it would cost 200.00 to fix my kindle fire screen. Told him that I only spent 99.00 to buy it (refurbished). Told me to get the hell out of his shop!!! Took it to 911 tech repair and they fixed for less than 1\2 of what that jerk in Algonquin wanted. They people at 911 are professional and do a great job! Matter of fact took my computer and camara to get repaired. also! Highly recommend 911 tech repair.

Excellent customer service and immediate response… I called around looking to repair my son’s iPad2 3g screen, which completely shattered after dropping it. They were very comparable in price. I came right at closing time, and Junior unlocked the door and let me drop off the iPad anyway. They finished the repair the following day, and it was just like new. They even followed up with a voice mail the next day just to see if everything was working ok. Also offered me a discount on hard-​shell case, similar to «Otterbox» for the iPad.
Great job guys, you can’t please everybody, but I was more than satisfied.
