EXCELLENT. Well worth the 10-​mile drive through rural Kentucky to find this gem. Thousands of unique formations, dripping wet, still forming. A stream runs through the cave, there’s a wooden walkway throughout, only a few steps, maybe 12. Considered an «easy» tour. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! This place is little-​known, but personally, I think it blows Mammoth Cave out of the water (or ground). I went to two sections of Mammoth Cave in the morning, and Cub Run in the afternoon. No other people in the tour but my friend and me, so we got the personal treatment. EXCEPTIONAL — Please do NOT Miss This One! This cave has several exceptional and unique formations that you will NOT find elsewhere!
Did not eat in the restaurant but peeked in, was clean and looked comfortable. Correction: I just learned from their website that the restaurant is closed until further notice, due to lack of business. Munfordville is close by with plenty of places to eat there.
The gift shop has your typical stock. The people who run it are very nice and friendly. Everyone we met in Kentucky was very nice and friendly.
