EXIT Cornerstone Realty was founded by Ellen & Mike Butters in July 2010 and has served the counties surrounding Culpeper Virginia with the philosophy that our clients’ best interests always come first. Focusing on hiring, training, and retaining only the best full-​time professionals, we ensure that every client is treated honestly, ethically, and professionally. In fact, it is our stated policy that no agent can represent both sides of a transaction – this ensures that our client’s best interests are served.

Business Owner

Ellen Butters is the Principal Broker and Co-​Owner. Ellen has been serving the public since 2002 as a real estate professional, beginning in the busy market of Northern Virginia. After moving to the foothills of the Blue Ridge in 2003, she joined a local brokerage and quickly excelled in her career. In 2005, she formed The Butters Team and along with her husband Mike, became one of the top producers in the area. Ellen’s knowledge, professionalism and dedication to her clients have gained her many lifelong clients and friends. As the principal broker, she personally trains our agents and is not only a wonderful mentor, but is a member of our local real estate board, state certified instructor, and award-​winning broker. Ellen is also the mother of 4 and grandmother of 2.
