Not terrible, not great. Plenty of ATM’s outside, hardly ever a wait, and usually parking available.
The lot is often dirty, with unsavory types lurking in the alley behind. I wouldn’t send my wife here after dark, even though there’s a nice residential neighborhood right behind it.
Façade could use an update. As the neighborhood cleans up, it looks more and more out of place. Not necessarily modern, just cleaner.
Staff inside is usually very friendly.

There are only two tellers open and there is a line that almost reaches the door. Don’t come here! Thursday 2:39

Never have I seen customer service so BAD !!! the line was to the door with only 2 tellers open… I have a back condition not to be standing longer than 20 minutes. I was standing over 20 minutes in visiable pain … I signed up to Unilocal just to say «This Bank of American @
5541 Sepulveda Blvd is Not A Good Location

3 tellers. 15 customers. I don’t bank here because B of A has lost all customer service. This bank is sparse. Like it’s going out of business. I come to make a rent deposit each month, and the teller to customer ratio is always unacceptable which results in long wait times. My first stop is Wells Fargo where you are greeted, given coffee, and your wait time averages 1 minute. B of A is the worst.

The customer service is mediocre. Unfortunately I have to come here for business, would be great if they had a merchant teller/​line. Only 2 tellers with 37 people in line, this situation usually have me running late opening up my store but what can u do I have to bank here. I guess This is a trend for BofA because it’s the exact same situation in commerce

Holy crap wow… I don’t get why overall management at Bank of America have 2 tellers in line when they have and I counted 18 windows. What is the point of all of this? Why do you not have more tellers especially on a Monday morning? I really think this is just pure incompetence. I am hoping they read this and change something soon

Their customer service is great! Although its horribly slow! They dont have a merchant line! About 20 windows and only 2 – 3 tellers! It does not help at all. It makes me fall behind on schedule. If you come here, expect long lines and long waits.

I have been with bofa since 1997. I opened my first account with them and just stayed. I never had an issues until now. The decided to close the type of account I have and open a new one that charges me $ 12.00 monthly fee. I hadn’t pay before and I wasn’t about to now especially when I have been with them since 1997. Things are going down the drain as far as i know.

The people here are really nice. But the branch itself is super slow. Why have like 20 windows but only 2 or 3 tellers? And then no merchant line? Not cool and slows down my days when I’m on a time budget.

Recently treated rudely by a manager and a teller after a very large change order for my business. They have closed the Small Business Services, which isn’t my fault, obviously, so I don’t think that tellers should seem put out by doing small business transactions. I loathe coming here, but I must because of its location.

This place was surrounded by cops when we first came. They wouldn’t tell us anything… came back after shopping atm worked well.

This is the worst bank in Los Angeles and should be closed down or there should be a massive firing! The staff here is rude slow and do not care about the consumer at all. I came in here on my lunch break for a temporary ATM card and it took forever! Three customers total in the bank! I’m sorry, I will never ever ever visit here again!!!

This is directed to the female teller at the Bank of America located on Sepulveda that I unfortunately got stuck with this morning.
1) when a customer approaches your work station and requests assistance in getting a CASHIER’S Check made, stop what you’re doing and pretend to be interested.
2) be specific as to what kind of information you need me to provide you. I provided you with my driver’s license and my bank account number. What other information did you require? How about I provide you with a stool sample to reciprocate the kindness that you are providing me with?
3) when handing me the necessary form to fill out give me STEP BY STEP instructions on how to PROPERLY fill out the form instead of waiting for me to fill it out completely and then tell me I filled it out wrong. As a result I had to fill out another form again hoping that your ROYAL MAJESTY would be pleased.
4) make sure that when all the paperwork is filled out correctly that your assistant bank manager isn’t in the bathroom thereby making me what even longer.
Any more days like today and I will be a FORMER customer of this badly run bank. This is a top heavy bank with way too many assistant managers and not nearly enough well trained employees.

I cannot believe how customers are treated… Truly embarrassing and sad, as a former Bank of America/​Merrill Lynch employee and Merrill Lynch customer…

I just spent over 30 MINUTES in line to make a deposit — more than 20 people in line and there are 2 tellers open and 1 merchant window — these tellers couldn’t be any slower. They leave their windows and wander around aimlessly — a manager is no where in sight, unless you count the little dude in the cheap suit, sipping water and standing idly behind the teller line.
There was one girl at a desk, opening a new account I guess, but she was so busy picking at her mascara and chatting up the customer, I didn’t see one piece of paper on her desk for the entire 30-​minutes that I was in line. Is there an ounce of work ethic at this branch?
I finally got to the window, and asked for the branch manager’s name — they didn’t know it — are you kidding me? Finally, the 3^rd teller thought of the name. I would suggest that Gwen Crenshaw, the branch manager INTRODUCE herself to her staff.
I will not be returning to this branch, but will place a phone call to Gwen Crenshaw as soon as my blood pressure declines from my horrible wait at this useless bank.
There are too many people out there looking for jobs that would love to work at BofA
I am sure, because the staff they have there now could care less about the customers. They obviously need to return to their home countries where laziness and inefficiency must be acceptable.

Terrible! Why are the lines so long? Because the tellers cannot spell and spend 20 minutes per customer. 20 minutes per customer for a money order is unacceptable. They are unprepared when a customer comes to the window

BofA is not a good bank. They don’t care who you are or what needs you have. They are here to rob you.

I am usually not a person to rate anything too chainy, but I have to write an awesome review for this BOA location. Basically, I went in to get an item notarized like I did all the time in Dallas for free. To my surprise, I found out that I could not get a non-​Bank of America notarization done per California state law at the actual bank. Oops. Had no idea. BUT, this is where things were super cool. The Assistant Manager, Priscilla, saw my license and that I was from Texas and since I’ve been with them for a while, she offered to refund my notary fee. I was shocked and told her that I would be back. Fast forward to today. I went in after getting my documents notarized and was greeted warmly by a lady named Elisha I believe. I told her that I was looking for Priscilla, but mind you, I did not remember her name, but just described her. Elisha not only took my word, but had me wait for the manager so she could issue the refund to me. The manager, Jennifer, was free maybe 5 minutes later and without missing a beat, she upheld Priscilla’s offer and we sat and talked for a good 10 minutes. Jennifer, Elisha and Priscilla exemplified everything good customer service should be and they were not so concerned that my account currently did not have a huge balance. Now I understand why things always seem to work like clockwork here, including down to having a person direct traffic in the parking lot on heavy days (I typically never go into the banking center). I definitely plan to keep banking here at this location and if things keep going the way they are, I will be taking my first mortgage through them.
