Brought my daughter here to get a mani/pedi for her bday and HS graduation tomorrow. At all other salons we have gone to, usually one person does the mani while a second person does the pedi in order to get u out sooner. My daughter is the only client here, and I am sitting here watching one person give her a pedicure, while THREE other employees are just sitting around eating and watching shows on their phones. The two stars are for the cleanliness of the salon and proximity to my home, but as for efficiency, they get a zero.

Go here for the eyebrow threading! I’ve tried getting my nails done here once and it wasn’t the best honestly. BUTTHEEYEBROWTHREADING job is amazing! The girl is really good and she made them look absolutely perfect.

I went there for a haircut… and they did it real nice… but there was an very beautiful Indian chick there as a staff. She was one of the staff there, she did not provide me any service but she was smoking hot. All i could think of was how to approach her and what to say to her and my haircut got done in a second. I wished I had more hair so that they never finish cutting it while I can feast my eyes on that alluring beauty…

So confused by this place. Called to make an appointment for a fill in my nails. Anytime at all on a Friday. No one is there that does nails. What? This is a NAIL salon, correct?!

I got my eyebrows threaded for only $ 6. Although it came out thinner and sharper than I wanted(in her defense, I didn’t specify how I wanted it), RT was wonderful and sweet. I’ll definitely be back — especially since it’s a great deal!

Haven’t been to any nail salons in my new neighborhood, so I thought to give this one a try. They service hair, nails, and do eyebrows/facials from what I can see, with a different person capable of doing each station. A very simple setup in a small shop, in the same strip center as a donut shop — because nails and donuts, am I right?! I had read through most of the reviews here, so I knew it wasn’t spacious and had some reservations about going, but I’m glad I went. $ 22 for a mani/pedi, plus my $ 5 toenail art(because I like to feel fancy), and Lee took excellent care of me. We maybe exchanged words amounting to 3 paragraphs in the hour I was with her, but she was very diligent, didn’t overly rush things, and gave me better toenail flowers than the last silly shop I went to in uptown Santa Monica. I dinged my nail as I was getting my things, and she politely fixed it for me as well. Do you get what you pay for? Sure, not a fancy location. But my nails are happy, I’m happy, and all the customers I saw coming and going(many were turned away due to short staffing) were all polite people. I call that a success :)

If you want a spotless salon where you are the center of attention then this is not the place for you. There’s hair everywhere, nothing ever looks wiped down, no one really does anything when you walk in, there’s always a bug or 5 flying around in there yet this is a solid 4 star establishment for me! I pay $ 6 pre tip for an eyebrow threading from a very nice lady who does a quick and solid job and $ 18 pre tip for a peaceful, very attentive haircut where the lady checked several times if my hair were even and if I liked what was happening to my head. I’ve ALWAYS liked the results! You get what you pay for, but what you get is pretty good. And for the price, I’ll take it!

I recommend this place for eyebrows. $ 6 for threading is a good price and the lady does a pretty neat job.

$ 22 for a mani/pedi… that’s about the only saving grace for this place. We walked in and expected to be sat at the mani/pedi chairs, but instead were sat a table with buckets of warm water brought to us. Feet were scrubbed and lotioned. On both my hands and my feet my cuticles were nipped and bled. The lady doing my nails seemed very rushed and didn’t pay any attention to detail. My nails chipped within a day and I walked back to top up the chip and no one batted an eye when I walked in, painted my own nails and walked out again. It’s a perfect example of you get what you pay for. Won’t be coming back here again.

OMG! I have been coming to this place since 1997, that should tell you much. I KNOW them all. My mom and sister went in today to get their nails done and Lin(which usually is nice) told my mom and sister that she couldn’t do her nails until later. My mom asked her when she can come back and she raised her voice, I have appointment at 10.” She didn’t even give her an option or nothing. She just walked to the back and that was that. There was NO good morning acknowledgement or can you come back later or thank you for coming. She just simply gave her a look like, «umm oh well and walked away.». I call earlier to speak to the manager/owner cause I know who she is and the lady that answer the phone said, «manager Not here, what you want.» I have never had an issued with them because I WAS a very loyal returning customer but as of today that ship sailed. I have seen how they don’t really go above and beyond for their customers. They don’t make new customer’s feel welcome and they see everyone as a dollar sign. It’s as if they don’t care if you’re there or not. Their prices are affordable but its not worth it because they don’t respect appointments and walk-ins you wait up to an hour for a simple basic mani and pedi. They ONLY have 2 employees doing nails and 1 lady cutting hair, it also makes it hard to take care of everyone.

I think I’ve given this place every chance possible from eyebrows to nails to hair. The last time I came in for a haircut my hair was still wet and she couldn’t even figure that out. She wasted about 30 minutes of my time just to tell me that she couldn’t even blow dry my hair with the big curling brush to style it and give it some body. The last time the lady did my eyebrows the threading was very uneven and I hated thim the nail lady is very difficult to talk to so don’t try to ask for anything too fancy and it’s such a small little area you would think that it would be packed and busy and full but it’s not for a reason… When’s the lady said she couldn’t take a brush and curl my hair when she blowdried it because my hair was too long that’s when I got up I walked out and I’ll never come back

This review is for the threading services — Tara is amazing. Will not trust anyone else with my eyebrows.

The attention and precision the two technicians(yes, two people worked on me at the same time!) were very impressive! Better than many other fancier salons where the price is twice as high(I had a simple polish change in Vegas for $ 20. Here 20 bucks got me an amazing mani-pedi, I mean… awesome!) Yes maybe it’s not the most elegant place, maybe the staff isn’t super friendly… But I’d rather go to a quiet salon instead of a madhouse where the women yell from one station to the other.

I needed a last minute mani/pedi last Sunday and checked Unilocal to see who was open. I usually go to Lucky nails. I’ll stick to them next time. This place was gross. Very poor selection. I saw two dead flies on the manicure table next to mine. The pedicure massage chairs didn’t work and I was relieved bc they were instead using smaller more sanitary portable tubs that they put a fresh plastic bag over before filling it with water. The woman was really nice but I could not wait to get out of there. Pedicure was super messy.

Horrible polish selection. They have a few ugly and acetone-d down Essie and OPI polishes, and the rest of their sorry collection is «Hot Kiss» and other no name brands that look like they were purchased in the clearance section of Sally’s Beauty Supply. This salon boasts two 80s looking pedicure chairs by its entrance. Thank god I didn’t get a pedicure. Probably would have contracted a disease. The was a woman getting a pedicure while I was in there, but she was sitting in the manicure chair and had her feet in a bucket… so maybe the chairs don’t work anymore? Not sure, don’t care. The woman who did my manicure cut my cuticle and made me bleed. She also didn’t put on a base coat before applying the color polish. The hand massage was 15 seconds per hand. The tools she used came out of a pouch that was not sealed, which leads me to believe that they were not properly disinfected. The two stars are only for the eyebrow waxing. The lady who did my wax took her time and did a good job. The wax was $ 7, which is not a bad price. I will not be back. This place is gross. Hoping I won’t contract anything from my cut cuticle… Do yourself a favor, GOELSEWHERE!

I live across the street and have been coming here for years solely based on the convenience factor. I will never return to this place again. The mani pedi is basic, price is basic($ 26 tip incl.), cleanliness could be better, & lastly… The customer service is horrible! The lack acknowledgment is ridiculous. 4 staff members including the new owner, only one other customer, and ZERO acknowledgement from staff. There is a staff of 4 and no one can say hello or at the very least tell you the wait time… a little communication could go a very long way to show your customers that you value them and their time. They really should remove the«walk ins welcome» sign & just stick with appointments only. It seems like that works best since the owner made it a point to ask me if I had called to make an appointment as u was walking out the door. NO. I didn’t. I don’t mind waiting. I understand that sometimes I’ll have to wait… I’m fine with that but for that lack of customer service/communication I can take my money elsewhere and will. If you don’t mind awkwardly waiting around aimlessly all day … go to Caressa! They’ll give you an ok mani pedi and waste your precious time.

Got a gel mani and it lasted the entire two weeks with just one little chip and still shiny for only $ 25! Can’t beat that! Pretty good at waxing/threading eyebrows as well. Everyone is super sweet, especially the new owner. The interior isn’t the cutest

Ok, so it’s definitely a low-frills kind of place… but a full set of acrylic nails AND a pedicure for 30 bucks? Can’t beat it. The place was a little busy when I stopped by on a Wednesday afternoon. I waited about 20 minutes before someone could start working on me, but I soon realized that’s because these girls take their time and don’t try to rush through your manicure. I will definitely return to this place for quality, inexpensive mani-pedis, and after reading all these reviews, I might have to give the waxing a try next time as well!

I came here one night before dinner plans with a friend across the street at Gaby’s. When I found out she was running late I decided to stroll across the street to this nail salon and see if they were open(my nails were looking hideous, lol). Luckily they were and I was seated right away. The girl who did my nails asked me what I wanted and went to town. She removed my old gel polish for me which took time, even though I was just getting a simple french tip polish. She did a beautiful job and all the tips were symmetrical. This spot is definitely affordable. I only paid like $ 5 or $ 6 pre-tip. I’d probably come back if I wasn’t totally addicted to Hana’s nail salon, which is right below my dental office.
