Always gets the order right. Outdoor seating is great for people watching. Open, airy inside.

CHIPOTLEISAWESOME — that’s a fact. But for the last couple years, they’ve been getting more stingy with their serving sizes. The workers here are great, but I think management has told them to give smaller portions. Food quality is still good and I’ve never ever been disappointed by Chipotle, but if you’re coming to this location make sure to request«extra» of everything just to get the standard portion. ***I also realize this is definitely a first-world problem. In any other country, I don’t think I’d be writing a review like this. I am fully aware that I’m a fat American complaining about not enough food.***

Normally I would not rate a fast food chain restaurant, but when one stands out as exceptionally good(or bad) I want to let other Unilocalers know. And people should know that this location of Chipotle really does a disservice to the chain. First, the portions here are much smaller than at other Chipotle locations. When I got a burrito bowl here a few weeks ago I was surprised how much food they scooped up – just over half the amount I’ve received at every other Chipotle I’ve ever been to. The Chipotle in downtown LA at 7th Street is much more like the usual Chipotle which piles on the portions. Second, they have an incredibly hard time making a tight, neatly packed burrito here. I came here tonight and ordered a burrito and saw them struggling to roll it tight while ingredients were coming out the sides and spilling out onto the naked counter. The person ordering before me also had an issue with her burrito as I saw it being sent, then sloppily re-opened, and then rolled and re-rolled as the struggle repeated. It’s also hard for the employees to hear you even when you’re shouting over the counter. I said I wanted mild pico de gallo on my burrito and the staff member repeated back, «mild and medium?» and then dumped spicy medium salsa on my burrito. I didn’t even bother telling her and just had some cooling milk at home when I ate it. She also didn’t hear when I asked for a side of guacamole, so I had to then repeat my order to the cashier and I was so annoyed I considered not even adding it but did anyway. The bathroom is also weird here. It’s locked I guess because of local homeless people, and you can’t just walk in. But rather than give you a key, the staff has to open it by pressing a button behind the counter.

Never eating at Chipotle again. 3rd time at 3rd location(Culver City) where the steak was cold and below the minimum temperature standard. The manager poked it and it was 127 degrees! How many more people will have to get SICK or DIE before you guys clean up your act??? He told me with the steak you have it pre-cooked and throw it on grill barely to just heat it up and then you throw it in the metal bins. What happened to the concept of FRESH? Who wants steak meat that was pre-cooked long ago? He made me a new rice bowl but this is a joke after all those people that got sick they still serve room temperature meat. Bye Bye Chipotle!

*Beware of angry girl behind the counter* I frequent this specific chipotle often since I live nearby. It’s always been good. I consider myself a nice human, being raised with manners and respect for others. And that’s why tonight kind of sucked. I can empathize with people working in customer service. It sucks sometimes. But tonight on 4÷9÷16 at 9:30pm, the girl who made my burrito was severely lacking customer service. She was rude from the get go. But I just smiled and ordered. By the time we got to the salsas, she asked what kind I wanted, and since there are so many I decided to point to the one I wanted(Being 6’4 I’m much taller than the glass separating me from the food, so my finger extended a bit over the glass, BUT nowhere near the food) she proceeded to scold me in front of her coworkers and customers and said«no. Don’t ever put your hands over that glass» I get it, my bad, I shouldn’t have done that. But she handled the situation in the worst way. DON’T lash out at your customers. Especially your nice ones who always leave a tip! I was immediately overwhelmed with guilt and embarrassment. I felt like an ill behaved child being scolded by an angry Aunt. And no matter how old or mature you are, It sucks to get yelled at in front of people. It didn’t even stop there. After scolding me, she tried to put the salsa I requested in a separate plastic cup for some reason? I said«no no I want it on the burrito please» and she slapped it on the same way a prison cook would slap gray mushy food on a lunch tray. So that’s when my patience started draining real fast. I requested three more toppings and she slapped them all on in the same gruesome way making a mess every time. Totally unnecessary. I wanted to say something to her after ordering but, I didn’t… I thought I would feel better after eating but, I lost my appetite and ended up leaving very PISSED off. I could have gone to any chipotle, but I decided to go to this one. Anyways. I won’t be going back.

I go to this Chipotle at least once a month and the burritos have been smaller everytime I go. I’ll post a photo and you won’t even believe how small this $ 10 burrito was.

The staff here are the best! Just wanted to give them a shout. However, Unilocal keeps telling me to write more, or they’ll label it a ‘tip’; so each subsequent sentence since the first has been for no other reason than to bolster the word count. So sorry. But seriously, they’re awesome!

I love Chipotle. This isn’t the best location I’ve been to. Most the time, I notice they are extra skimpy with the guac and the salad dressing portions. Today my burrito fell apart while they were making it. They always ask if you want it rewrapped which annoys me because it’s a big waste of food. How about just heating the tortilla enough beforehand so it’s pliable and won’t rip when there isn’t that much in the burrito anyways? Only because I love the food as much as I do… do I keep coming back for the long lines and overpriced nature of it all.

Big fan of Chipotle but not a fan of this location. For whatever reason the food here just doesn’t taste as good. The quality of the meat seems lower and the food is never as hot as it should be, only slightly warm(even during peak hours). There is limited seating inside, with tables that only accommodate parties of two. Parking in this area is terrible, too.

The food here is really good, I can get my dish created for me pretty quickly and there’s comfortable seating. It’s only when they’re extremely busy that I lament having to wait in the sometimes long line. Once at the chipotle at the bottom of the Grapevine in Fort Tejon I waited an hour to place an order(that was crazy). With their recent half-dozen foods scandals, they are not as busy as usual. I hope they make it through this slump. I really enjoy this healthful alternative fast food restaurant

Gave Chipotle a shot and I actually enjoyed their steak quesadilla, guacamole and chips with the Izze drink. Yum!

It’s an ok meal a little pricey! My meal came out to be 12.05 for a burrito and drink. The girls were friendly but very very robotic, hoping you get the hell out of there as soon as you can and on to the next.

I came here twice in two days for a chicken bowl to test the establishment. This branch is Sooooo cheap. I got a chicken bowl minus the rice asked for guacamole and both times their staff barely gave me any. It’s like they’ve been specifically instructed to short change the customers. It’s not as if they hand picked the avocados and made the guac themselves. Never coming back again.

Oh my gosh – this place made me want to scream. There were only a few people in front of me in line, but it took FOR. EVER. Thought I’d stop in for a quick something before meeting some friends for wine, but there was nothing quick about it. Slow, slow, slow. And then, when my food was finally made, there was no one there to check me out at the end. She was taking the trash out. When there was a line. During dinnertime. Whoever is managing this place needs to take a good look at what’s happening here…

It’s 92 degrees today in culver city. I work nearby, but only have 30 minutes for lunch. I get there about 11:30. I order a veggie burrito with black beans and pinto beans, and the portions were really small on both in comparison to previous visits. Got back to work to enjoy my veggie burrito, and it was COLD. As in cold beans and cold rice. Huge disappointment!!! I called right away and spoke to Freddy, the kitchen manager who told me he cooked the beans himself, the the warmers must not be on in the front. Isn’t that a health violation??? Food has to be kept at certain temperatures for safety reasons!!! He offered me a free meal on my next visit, but that won’t happen EVER! There are waaaaaay too many restaurants in downtown Culver City for me to bother with them again. $ 7.34 wasted

I am a huge chipotle fan. The food is always consistent with good portions. I have never had a bad experience until today. This branch is by far the stingiest branch me and my co-workers have been to. The manager Joseph does not know how to treat customers. We came in as a big group and we left very unhappy. Our bowls were half the normal size. Our burritos were practically empty. I had to continuously ask for extra this and that since he would tell everyone to «watch your portions». I watched as one team member placed a single slice of bell pepper as my «fajita». The food tastes as good as usual but the experience here was awful thanks to Joseph. As the manager, he is setting a horrible example for the rest of the team members. Someone needs to remind him to smile every once in a while.

Some reviews here are hilarious. «The burritos are too small!» «The burritos are overstuffed!» «I didn’t know what I wanted!!» «I had to choose between two things!» Long line, moved quickly, got just what I wanted, no problems. The only food chain that I know of serving quality indregients and taking a stance: NOGMO!!! Just announced, so I took my husband here today for lunch. Let’s all start voting with our wallets, and food quality(not to mention water quality, air quality, and soil quality) will improve. Support NOGMO products and businesses.

I was down the street for work and of the many locations I decided to bring my out of town friend to Chipotle. I figured this was a good, somewhat unique place that they don’t have in the corn fields of Iowa. Overall its a well run, clean, and organized Chipotle. as you would expect. This location is right in the heart of Culver City and all the movie studios. Since this is within walking distance for the nearby studios there is a unique mix of people. I ordered a chicken burrito bowl with grilled veggies, brown rice, sour cream, lettuce and cheese, with 2 kids of salsa. it was exactly the same as every other Chiptole. My friend ordered a steak burrito with similar ingredients. I’m guessing the burrito was the size of a small chihuahua and he said it was good. We sat on the patio and had lunch. The location is great, the view is nice and the people behind the counter were friendly. Also after we finished they had one of their team members busing tables which is a nice touch and saves us the trouble. Overall a good location and good food.
