In 2008 City Chic joined forces with Gary Dakin & Ford Models New York to find the new face of City Chic. They also joined forces with Billion Dollar Babes for a designer collaboration.

2009 was the year City Chic made history at Rosemount Fashion Festival.

In 2010 City Chic goes International and launches in the USA with Plus Model Magazine.

Then in 2011 City Chic became the first ever brand to have a Plus Size runway at the L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival & in the same year launched their first lingerie range and designer collaboration with Damn You Alexis.

2013 marked the opening of the Sydney, Australia flagship store as well as the first City Chic store to open in South Africa. Mary Lambert was spotted wearing City Chic in The New York Times & on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

In 2014 City Chic opened their first stores in Southern California, USA (Brea, Culver City, Glendale, Northridge, Mission Valley, Tyler)
