I’ve been going to this salon for years to have Susan Lu do my hair. She is wonderful with color and styling and her rates are reasonable. Best of all she is a sweetheart and it’s a pleasure every time I see her! Don’t be fooled by the lack of «glam» at the shop. Susan does a great job and the other stylists such as Kristine and Connie are talented as well! I highly recommend Elena’s!

I have been going to Elena’s quaint, friendly neighborhood salon for years. My hair stylist/​manicurist Susan has the best vision for hair cuts and color. She listens to her customers and provides beautiful results. Susan has cut my hair from short hair styles to long hair styles. My color always comes out stunning. The atmosphere in the salon is always relaxing and friendly.

I love this nearby community salon. For years I had my hair done in Beverly Hills and West L.A. salons. I started at Elena’s a few years ago because I needed a new manicurist. I met Susan. Now Susan does my hair and nails and I am very happy. She and I talk about my haircut before the cut. She listens and works with me to make it happen the way I want. The atmosphere is friendly, caring and relaxed. Staff know me by name. It’s easy to get an appointment.

My manicurist and hair stylist, Susan, works at Elena’s. I have going to Susan for years to get manicures and pedicures, which she does extremely well. I had seen her styling and coloring hair for years and thought she was very good. I had been going to a different hair stylist for many years until he moved out of my area. Susan started cutting and coloring my hair about two years ago, and I have been SO pleased ever since. My hair looks great It’s more stylish with a splash of color that enhances the cut. I get more compliments on my hair than ever. By the way, my hair is very curly and difficult to cut. Oh — I almost forgot to mention that her prices are ½ of what was paying for all those years! I have thick, wavy hair and all my life I’ve worn it in a short, wispy style. I was going to a place that does movie stars and it always looked great, but it cost $ 100 a cut and I couldn’t sustain it once I lost my job. I went to a cheap place and it looked awful — misshapen and spiky, and each cut just kept getting worse.
Then I tried out Elena’s — Elena herself. I described my old haircut. She said — sounds like you need a razor cut. She then took out a razor and cut my hair, exactly like the high end place but for $ 25. It was just amazing. I looked at myself in the mirror and said — ah, it’s my head again!
