Worst customer service! I took my truck in for an oil change and then Roberto tells me that my truck has a recall. At first I’m like okay no problem I’ll leave it since he said it should be ready the next day. The next day comes no phone call. The third day comes and I decide to call because no one has kept up with me. It turns out they aren’t open Sunday’s neither. I was never offered a rental for the inconvenience and Roberto did not notify me on the status or even offer a rental. This is the second encounter we have had with him. I never used to have an issue until the new owner took over. I need a rental or my truck to be ready. Don’t expect them to do anything for the customer here.

I just want to thank Jorge Escobar, for helping me with my car. I had to buy tires and he got me the best and cheapes. I been looking about a month ago and they where expensive. Thank you Jorge and Hooman Chevy.

My 2014 Camaro convertible is still under warranty and I’ve taken it in a couple times to get minor tweaks, oil changes and also to get a grinding noise checked out…
VERY poor customer service (downright rude at times– especially Richard). My guess is that they don’t like having to fix things for free (under warranty), so they often say they «couldn’t find the problem» and keep my car for lengthy periods of time (most likely making my car low priority) — they’d rather focus on making money from paying customers.
I will be going to my longtime mechanic (at Rod’s auto) to have him complete a full inspection and then walking in to Chevy with a list of things to be done before my warranty expires– this way they cant tell me there’s «nothing wrong» or they «couldn’t locate» the problem.
Will definitely NOT be returning to this dealership after my warranty is up.

OK– I should update my review below to state a mistake in my memory of things. When I bought my car, it was actually from Bunnin, which is no longer in existence. The same physical Chevy dealership in Culver City is now owned by Hooman and called Hooman Chevy. I was recently informed by Hooman that the single person at whom my negative review was directed, Pete Soso, was NOT continued on the employee roster after the takeover. Phew! They were very cordial about it and offered me any help in the future, just for speaking out and bringing it to their attention (even though it ended up being a moot point). So I am altogether mostly agnostic if not somewhat favorable as to the management at Hooman… and my review for that single terrible employee at Bunnin should not stand.

Didn’t know Bunnin either changed, gave up or sold the dealership to Hooman but I will not be going back! I got an oil change and a «car wash», I was going to the car wash myself anyway, and that was it. The coupon indicated a 35 point inspection, which they didn’t do but they were «kind» enough to tell me I needed major work or I could trade my car in for new one before the repairs were due! I checked my brake fluid… low. I checked my antifreeze… low. And they didn’t bother to rotate my tires. Simple shit that I did myself! Why bother? If they weren’t going to do just say so. I guess convenience isn’t always better. Going elsewhere and I would suggest the same to anyone thinking about it!

I called for service on my 2011 Chevy Cruze, which is still under its extended warranty. I bought my Cruze, because my dad works at the factory in Lordstown, Ohio where they build them and can help me when I have concerns.
I booked a service recently, but within 12 hours I had 6 calls/​emails/​texts from sales people trying to sell me a new car. Why would I trust a service department that obviously sells my contact information and car service needs to their sales department? What’s stopping them from saying something is wrong with my car that is comparable to a down payment on a new car? Very poor business practices.
I took my car there in January 2016 with a check engine light on, and an error message saying my air conditioner turns off due to high engine temp. They said it’s a result of a leak in a hose, and they fixed it under warranty. I was hopeful. Less than 5 months later, I have the same error message appearing, and my check engine light is on again. I will be going elsewhere.

I called about test driving the new Volts in the late afternoon. and the morning after, between 7AM (!!!) and 11AM, had 5 missed calls from the dealership.
Came in here about a month ago to test drive the Volt. There are limited Chevrolet dealerships to choose from, thus why I am giving them 2 stars, and the fact the salesmen did, for a brief period, seem genuine. I’m super intuitive to people, even with discounting their «closer» personalities.
I came in strictly for a test drive, and stated so. Started to get the details on a numbers breakdown for the car as well as general Volt info, and stated beyond that I would be in later that week with a friend.
Talk about pushy.
They had their salesmen all over me in what seemed to be the opposite of a «NO MEANS NO» scenario.
1) while AT THE DEALERSHIP, received 5 calls from that very dealership. 2) I left the dealership around 6pm, and by 9am the next day had received another 7 calls from said dealership. ALONG WITH personal text messages from the salesperson.
No means NO!!!
I had slight interest in using this dealership but by the harassment I incurred within such a short period, 17 CALLS within 24 hours, the chances of them getting my business were slim.

The Service Department here is top notch, especially Fernando, He is the guy you want to see whenever your car needs work. I work for a rental company and our fleet consists of mainly of Chevrolet Express passenger vans. Whenever I have any issues with any of my vehicles I shoot down to see Fernando who is always kind, courteous and does his absolute best to help how ever he can. I just want to commend him and the whole team over there on the wonderful work they do and the outstanding customer service that they provide. Thank you

I was nervous going inside but I prayed and claimed that car in the name of Jesus! Paul was so helpful and and did everything to make sure I drove off in a new car.

The folks at Hooman went out of their way to help on a lease return– I didn’t get the lease from Hooman (got my Volt from Bunnin at same location 3 yrs ago) and I was not renewing /​buying something else (returned a Volt going to wait for Bolt). So literally nothing to sell me/​no money to be made and still so courteous and professional. Thanks!

Thank you so much to Hooman Chevrolet for getting my approved and Into my new Impala! I had stopped at a few other dealers, but none of them could get me the deal I was really looking for, but they truly worked with me and finally made a deal I couldn’t resist! What also made me make my decision to purchase my Impala from them was their VIP program that gives you lifetime car washes and oil changes for the life of the car, money saver! My salesman was so polite, and attentive, thanks Justin!

Had such a positive experience with these guys. It was a breath of fresh air. I bought my first Chevy Impala and was looking around for a while at several different dealers, but none of them gave me the price I wanted. DECEPTIVE AND UNRESPONSIVE: We left Hooman Chevrolet as satisfied, repeat customers, ready to recommend the dealership. We had just leased our second Volt from this dealership (previously called Bunnin). While signing the papers, it was noted to us that the leasing company had changed since our prior lease, but that it made no difference. However, I later noticed that there was a $ 395 «disposition fee» inconspicuously typed into the right hand side of our new lease under «other charges», a fee that had never been mentioned when leasing the car and which did not exist on our previous lease. This fee had not been agreed to and we had no idea it was there. We had no reason to ask about such «other charges», since we had no idea there was such a thing.
We hoped that this additional $ 395 (to be paid at the end of the lease) was an oversight, so I called the dealership to ask that it be corrected to $ 0 or that $ 395 be refunded to me. I called them several times over several days, but was not able to speak with anyone! On one try I was able to leave a message that was not returned, but on all tries I was put on hold and then hung up on. It has now become clear that this $ 395 was an intentional deception. Furthermore, the treatment over the phone indicates a lack of commitment to treating customers in a polite and professional manner.

We went into HOOMAN to test drive a truck — I specifically told the sales guy that I would be paying cash for this truck– we filled out some paperwork in order to test drive the vehicle. The vehicle was was was not what we wanted– a deal was never made they ran my credit a day later anyway– after I was gone! I specifically told the salesman we did not like the truck there was no reason to run my credit!!! now I have this inquiry on my credit report– unacceptable.

Highly recommended place, and as for Reggie «the regginator» he’s the best. very professional with a great sense of humor. He helped me get a very decent 2014 Ford Focus and I love it.

My car died on a Monday. By Wednesday, I had a new car thanks to Byron. He was an awesome salesman. Took the time to explain everything to me, and got me a great deal.

Let me start this review by saying I am a Chevy man. My father was a Chevy man. I have only owned/​bought Chevy/​GM vehicles in my life. In high school I worked with a GM certified mechanic at his shop. I consider myself part of the Chevy family and there are currently 2 GM vehicles in my garage.
I took my car (2013 Chevy Volt) in due to warranty repair need in early January. I could not charge my car. I made an appointment in advance and left the car for a day, the service rep called and said as expected this was a warranty issue with the charge port and the part was on back order but should arrive in two weeks and stay tuned for a call. When picking up the vehicle, the staff could not find the car. I understand this is a busy dealership so I thought, «OK, not their fault.»
Two weeks later, I began to review some comments here on Unilocal and realized I may be getting the run around. The dealer appeared to be giving me a false story on the part to avoid doing the repair (since warranty repairs are not profitable). I know this because I have worked at a shop. I called around and realized the part needed (despite being Vin specific) was both in stock at at Felix Chevy and at a Cadillac dealer in Buena Park. I called the service rep the following day and said I didn’t believe his story about the part. He called back the following day and said he received the part.
I called back to schedule an appointment to complete the repair the following week, and left a voicemail. I received no call back, I called again. Voicemail again.
I confronted the service rep in person this week since two months of waiting has exceeded my level of patience. He was not respectful and did not acknowledge any incompetence or wrongdoing.
I am filing a complaint through GM Lemon Law, and knowing that state regulators are actively promoting plug in hybrid electric technologies and are requiring manufacturers to extend the warranties on the hybrid system I intend to file a complaint at the state regulator level as well.

Just recently bought my car at this dealership.
I absolutely love my car and got a great deal. Eder was my sales associate (he is not there anymore) and he really took care of me.
When I purchased the car I was only given one key and I tried to get the second key made so I could have a spare… They sent me through so many hoops and so many people.
Yes I got a great deal but I felt like I was a basketball being passed around to their staff and even had to drive to their Long Beach location (they are amazing there especially Gary and Mary) to get the key made and still had to jump through hoops.
Price for my car was great but everything after was a hot mess.

I am writing this today because, having been treated so poorly by Bunnin service (where I leased my car in January 2013) that I drive all the way to Rydell in Northridge (where I always get awesome service) … and I only live 1.5 miles from Bunnin, in Westchester.
They don’t fix warranty repairs properly … or at all. The tire pressure issue I was having turned out to be a problem with 2 of the sensors. They actually had me drive to Costco to get my tire filled with Nitrogen because they didn’t have it (Rydell does!). Rydell suspected the sensors and fixed them.
Also, it only took one incident of repeated calls (over 20) … with me eventually in tears because I had an important doctor appt to get to and needed my car when promised, to get someone to respond. My car was THREE HOURS LATE and they IGNORED my frantic calls for 1.5+ hours after it was already overdue.
Yes … it is a LOT further to drive for car maintenance but so much more reliable and trustworthy to go to Rydell … or probably almost ANYWHERE other than Bunnin. What Bunnin loses is a well-​treated, loyal, Chevy customer (30 years), to sell or lease a new car to while my car is worked on.
Oh … and the responses from Marketing Director Jason Faraci to posts about Bunnin are a joke because he was one of the rudest to me when I was there and I pointed out a technical problem with one of their marketing campaigns (A QR code to scan in a printed pamphlet pointed to a URL that wouldn’t resolve because of a server setting) … which I pointed out to be helpful. The guy was so arrogant and insulting it made me wish I hadn’t said anything. But I did note they had the problem fixed a day later. Anyway, Jason can respond all he wants to make it LOOK like this dealership actually cares but they don’t call you, they don’t apologize, and to add insult to injury, the service manager will even call you and persuade you to give Bunnin a top review when Chevrolet sends their followup satisfaction survey.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE … do yourself a favor and go anywhere else!
