Dr. Jane first interned at the Southern California Counseling Center in Los Angeles and Positive Directions in Glendale, where she worked with people who self identified as «codependent.» She went into Private Practice in Culver City in 1998. She was voted «Best in Culver City» in 2011.

Graduated from Duke with B.A. in psychology & art history double major; an M.A. from Antioch University, Los Angeles, in clinical psychology and family studies, and her PsyD (clinical doctorate from the Institute of Contemporary Psychoanalysis in Los Angeles.
She teaches communication skills as well.
