Specialties

Our approach on every project is a new challenge without preconceived notions. We recognize that each of our clients has specific and distinct needs and we treat them as individuals who are our partners in design. Whether it be a residential remodel, flagship retail store, restaurant, or anything in between, we are dedicated to creating designs which are fresh, functional, innovative, and well thought out.

LETTER FOUR specializes in residential, retail, and commercial design and construction. We offer the seamless integration of architecture, design-build, construction, and graphic design that addresses the diverse goals of our clients. We are committed to creating inspired, original works that are feasible and achievable given any project challenge.

While we primarily serve the greater Los Angeles area, we are licensed to practice in California and New York states. With current projects and strategic relationships throughout the country, our experience is far reaching.

History

Established in 2010.

Our owners, Lauren Adams and Jeremy Baker first began collaborating in 2008 when they each owned their own businesses, LAB26 Design and Baker Creative, respectively. Over the years they decided that it would be best for both their clients and careers to join forces, and thus established LETTER FOUR in 2010.

Our principals have a total of twenty-five years of experience in a wide range of project types for distinctly different clients. Whether it be residential or retail design, construction administration or corporate branding, we provide the highest level of service on every project. We are dedicated to our clients, appreciate the relationships we have formed with them, and are honored when they refer us to their friends and colleagues.

Business Owner

Lauren became interested in architecture as a child and began to cultivate her skills at a very young age. She is the daughter of a carpenter and an artist, making architecture an innate calling. Lauren was raised to understand the balance between art and building that is necessary for the design and construction of successful projects. Lauren majored in architecture at Cornell University, graduating with a medal for exceptional

merit in the design of her thesis project. She secured her architect’s license at the almost unprecedented age of twenty-six. With a focus primarily on architectural and interior design, she brings with her 12+ years of real-world design and construction management experience. She is committed to achieving her client’s aspirations for their project while also working within any given project constraints.
