Tasty brunch and friendly service, even when they were really busy on a weekend. Loved the crêpe and the potatoes. Can’t wait to come back!

Gotta try something other than the Tarte, but that was delicious, although the pice of blue cheese on top was too big and overwhelming. The atmosphere is great for brunch time and interior décor is nice. The pavement is slippery though so be careful if you wear heels. I ordered a well done mimosa and the girl waiting our table was very nice in recommending us to get the whole bottle instead of the single drinks. Will be back!

This review is long overdue but I decided to host my post-graduation lunch here for a party of 13. I had planned with the manager for quite some time a few weeks prior. She made notes about specific requests I had for appetizers and desserts for the waiter to know when we arrived. Long story short, it went without a hitch. Yes, the restaurant is small, but can accomodate for large parties if planned ahead of time. For the appetizers, I requested that there be four large charcuterie plates to share. For entrees, some ordered the salmon, steak tartare, but the majority ordered their own variation of moule frites. Then for dessert, we had profiteroles with vanilla ice cream. I asked the waitress if she could put all the toppings aside(almonds and chocolate sauce) since some didn’t like chocolate, to which she agreed. All in all, the waitress was very accomodating and everyone absolutely loved the dishes! I was worried about having such a large party but I couldn’t have been more pleased with the afternoon.

Spectacular French bistro! The food, service, music are all excellent, you’d definitely go home happy and wanting to go back the following day. We had Country Pâté, Onion Soup, Coq au vin and Alaskan mussels. All were perfectly seasoned and well presented. We also had a bottle of Grenache which was half priced but wouldn’t hesitate to pay more since it was good too. We were too full we didn’t have room for dessert.

Best happy hour everrr! 3pm to 5:45pm everyday!!! Came here with 2 other people and ordered the truffle frites, charcuteries, and 3 different kinds of mussels @ only $ 10/ea. Everything was super good and sooooooo affordable! I forget how much the corkage fee was, but I brought 2 bottles and the server was OK with it :) Although we left stuffed, we still went to Ugo after for more drinks and pizza… Sitting out side reminded me of being in Paris again. Kind of. :o) 10⁄10 would recommend coming for HH.

Happy hour everyday from 3 – 5:45pm HH is a great way to try a new place, so I took advantage of theirs. ½ off drought beers and wines making them average $ 5 – 6 each Mussels are the highlight with several sauces to choose from. I got a la crème which was rich and delicious. Served with super crusty bread for dipping. There are a few other items for HH(see pic). I’ll try next time Service was perfect, however, we were the only people there. The vibe is awesome with lovely, covered outdoor seating. A few tables inside when it’s too cold. The breakdown: 2 glasses rośe $ 10.50 1 drought beer $ 4.75 1 order mussels $ 10(appx 10 mussels) 1 truffle fries $ 5 A truckload of bread $ 0 $ 33 and change My only real complaint is that Stella Artois isn’t included in HH. There are no light lagers on the HH menu. It might be a deal breaker for my bf

Love love love this place for brunch! The servers have been amazing both times and treated my friends and I as if we VIP both times. I did the bottomless mimosas the the 2nd time and it was awesome because they give you a glass plus your own personal karafe that has at least 2 more refills. As far as the food I had a savory crêpe the first time which was fine but not really my thing. The next time I opted for the Paris burger and it was definitely the sueprior choice, cooked to perfection and topped with deliciousness. The only downside here is that even if you make a reservation they will not guarantee you a patio seat. However the inside is lovely as well and you will enjoy yourself either way. I can’t wait to brunch here again.

Highly recommend the All You Can Eat mussels(Tues & Wed from 5 to 930). There are 17 flavors with my favorite being the lobster bisque. I may have gotten too excited and ordered 6 bowls within half an hour, but hey, you only live once. This was my third time(maybe more) coming here and it’s become one of my favorites in the area. My very first time was for lunch on a weekday. There was enough room for me to do some work inside(better wifi than Starbucks!) and I ended up staying until happy hour, which is also worth checking out. The service was exceptional. For my second time, I sat in the patio area and brought my puppy along. I love how dog friendly this place is. Again, exceptional service. The last time was still good, but it took a few attempts to get our server’s attention so I could show her the bug that was taking a night swim in my champagne glass. My drink was replaced after but it still bugged me(pun intended). I was happy to finally try the AYCE mussels though. Last call is at 9:30, but it’s best to get there before 8:30 to really take advantage of the deal.

I’ll start with the positives: the venue really makes you feel like you’re at a traditional Parisian caffe. The only thing that wasn’t authentic French was the attentive service! Adorable and ample outdoor seating area. Love the variety of eggs benedicts, sweet and savory crepes, coffees and brunch cocktails! Unfortunately there were a few factors that knocked two stars off of this review: –My eggs Norwegian(smoked salmon benedict) came out cold and the home fries were less than flavorful. Poached eggs were too runny. –The lobster bisque crêpe had good flavor but was a bit soggy –Small portions –Cramped dining area Despite these concerns, I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a traditional French experience!

The restaurant is a cool little restaurant in downtown Culver City. they have an outside patio, which is where we sat… At a wobbly table of course, but the hostess noticed it and was kind enough to fix that for us. To begin, I am not a fan of French food, but I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor and portion size of their dishes. I initially wanted to order the lobster crêpe, but our server told me that it had a lot of eggs, so to stay away from it if I did not like eggs. So I ended up ordering the Bento Box, which is their lunch special Monday-Friday. The Bento Box included 4 dishes served at the same time on a plate divided into 4 compartments. Here are the 4 items I had. Compartment 1: Soup du jour(Cauliflower Soup); surprisingly enough, this soup was very good. It kind of had a wet diaper feel to it, but the flavor was so delicious, that I was able to look past that. Compartment 2: Moules in Lobster Tomato bisque; again, I am not big on mussels, but this was sooooooo good! The lobster tomato bisque was delicious, and the overall concoction was a success Compartment 3: truffle fries; they were good. Obviously I had to add my own salt. Compartment 4: I forgot the name, but essentially it was ice cream, chocolate, almonds, and some sort of pastry. This dessert was pretty good as well! Overall, cute little restaurant. I would go here again, and I would suggest anyone to go here as well. I gave it a 4, because well, something was missing to give it a perfect 5.

Coffee was the strongest I’ve had in that area. I don’t drink anymore but they do have bottomless champagne, bellini or kir royal($ 17) or bottomless mimosa($ 18) for brunch. Last call is 3pm. I came here for Valentine’s Day brunch because Café Vida was already swarming with people and my previous experience there was just mediocre. We didn’t know they had breakfast/brunch options, and the menu ended up looking better than Café Vida’s. I only hear about the magical mussels, but nothing about the magical morning items. I ended up getting a lobster omelet(which was like a bisque in eggs) even though my original cravings were for a benedict, but it ended up being very delicious. The boo got the Pain Perdu(their rendition of French toast made with baguette instead of the usual fluffy bread). Different but good. Minus 1 because service was not very attentive and all I wanted was a refill on my coffee.

If you’re wondering if there’s such a thing as too many mussels, the answer is a resounding Yes. We came here on a Tuesday for their all you can eat mussel special. They have a bunch of sauces to choose from, and you choose one at a time. Personally, I would have liked smaller portions so I could have tried some more sauces, but oh well. The sauces are pretty taste specific, so I’ll leave it to you to decide. None were horrible, but none really stood out as crowd favorite. The mussels were chewier than I’ve had before, which somewhat ruined the experience. Overall, I learned that too many mussels is the very definition of too much of a good thing. I walked out thinking I wouldn’t be eating misses again for a long time.

It’s a very cute place, with mood lighting, intimate interior with some padded bench seating as well as some outdoor patio seating. The service was excellent and there are parking options in both the garages and side streets for free. My friends ordered the duck, seafood linguini, and salmon. Everyone loved the food. I had a taste of each, and indeed they were good. However, I got the all-you-can-eat mussels, which they have Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. I was so excited about this. They boast 12 different sauces to try. The sauces were quite good, but the mussels all tasted strange. I actually ended up eating 3 pans of mussels, and all three batches tasted funny. It was more the consistency/texture of the mussels, which had this bloated foamy quality. Maybe this is just the way they prepare the mussels, but I was not used to it. It’s a shame, because I think all the other dishes were quite good. That being said, the dessert«Menage a Trois» dessert(profiteroles) was absolutely delicious, as was the berry cobbler, and chocolate soufflé. You can’t go wrong with the dessert here. The sangria I had was also delicious.

Excitedly came here for LA Restaurant week — great way to try out a new place. Made a reservation and was seated right away. Too bad my peachy keen disposition was quickly wiped away. Our table was really light, meaning if I gently scooted the table a bit, the entire table would shake/almost tip over and the salt/pepper would fall(sit at one of the tables next to the mirror on the wall and you’ll see what I mean). It took a while before we received bread — many other tables were already on their second basket and came after me. I also notice a thin layer of dust floating in my water so I had the busser switch out my glass for a new one. Then the food came…: Chicken liver mouse: 2.5÷5 The chicken liver is really good and had a nice deep texture to it. The croutons it came with was too hard for me. I ended up cutting the roof of my mouth. The ratio to chicken liver and bread was also off. I ended up having a lot of the mouse left over and no vessel to spread it on. It’s like I wasn’t allowed to finish this appetizer. Soupe du marche: 4⁄5 This was my favorite from the menu. It was hot, creamy, and a great start of a meal. Steak tartare: 1⁄5 Wow. Have you ever seen Mr. Bean the show? The episode where he goes to a fancy restaurant, orders the steak tartare, and ends up taking pieces of it and hiding it in the salt shaker, flower pots, etc because he wanted to look like he had finished eating it? This is exactly how I felt, hiding it under my bed of mesclun. There was so much mustard mixed in that it was not palatable for me. I also found that the idea of sticking a piece of a leaf in the middle was a corny decoration. The pieces of flatiron I was able to taste was quite chewy too. Once again, the croutons did some serious damage to my mouth. Starting to think that’s how they’re supposed to be made… anyways, I touched 5% of my plate and pushed it aside. Our waitress, granted was extremely nice, didn’t even notice. Moules Escargot: 3⁄5: This dish was good — majority of the mussels were cleaned out well. The sauce was very buttery and the pomme frites were crispy. What was annoying is that some of the mussel shells were broken so they were just swimming in the sauce. Also, a lot of the mussels weren’t fully open to where we could scoop out the mussels. Perhaps this is a French technique? I couldn’t say, I’m not a connoisseur on French cuisine — just personal preference. Overall, I really wanted to like this place… but just can’t.

The bf and I were driving around culver city looking for a good date night spot with dineLA and helloooooo Paris! We ordered your typical onion soup, steak, mussels, escargot, French fries, and dessert. I think it just kept getting better and better as each dish came out. I am definitely a fan and look forward to going back next time we want French :)

Met my sister and her boo friend here for lunch. Here was my experience on a Saturday afternoon. Ambiance: Parking: street parking and limited parking plaza. I generally parked in the neighborhood. Seating: It was pretty packed. There was plenty of outside seating which was great to people watch and inside seating as well. The place could house about 70 people total. Feels: A very poppin place. Though there are restaurants I guess the whole entire Paris marketing theme gives it that unique touch. You’ll be welcomed by foreign classy music. Great for catching up with a friend or people going on a date and mildly stepping up their game. Food: Salmon Salad(Recommend) The serving was pretty sizable. The greens were delicious and the salmon was well cooked and seasoned. I recommend this for those Aoli Fries(Recommend) Solid. I am a sucker for french fries and this had the solid elements: good crunch, salt, and season. Customer Service: Our drinks were refilled at a timely manner. Can’t complain with that. She was also pretty respectful as well. Overall: 4 stars. Price was about rights, ambiance was nice, and the food was delicious. I can see myself coming here again. Whenever I want a taste for Paris, this is one of my go to places. TL;DR Tips: * When street/neighborhood parking, check for their restricted times and dates.

So as I expected, service is wayyy better during the week. Waitress was attentive and super friendly. Sat outside last night, and even in the brutal cold it was plenty warm with the heat lamps. The tables are still super small and crammed together, that’s my one complaint about the set up. I ordered the all you can eat mussels for $ 28. Oh man, so good. I am going to starve myself next Tuesday or Wednesday and come here again. I took 2.5 portions down. The mussels are fresh and meaty. They include many different ingredients, so you get sort of a large stew. I really enjoyed the Meet in Paris moules frites. The broth with tomato confit, shallot, saffron, celery, and and basil was spectacular. Add some crab, bacon, chablis, and mussels. Fan-frickin-tastic. The Alaska is also wonderful. The sauce is a bit creamier and richer, and there are scallops, shrimp, and and smoked salmon in there. A seafood delight. So yes, I highly recommend coming on a Tuesday or Wednesday for unlimited moules frites. There are not unlimited fries though, unlike on other night where you get bottomless fries but not mussels. It’s a fair substitution, you get your money’s worth.

Wow. Approaching Thanksgiving, and with a twelve hour drive ahead of me, I stopped in here with a special friend for some French onion soup and a salad, to compliment a blustery fall day. We were seated, and both myself and my friend took a moment to admire the atmosphere and layout of this place. Its well appointed, comfortable, and not overly crowded. Food was ordered, as well as a latte for my friend, and a double espresso for myself. A few minutes later(quite quickly) our drinks, and some warm bread arrived. We sipped and talked and continued settling into merriment. Our food arrived… It was immaculate. The presentation of our crab salad and mixed green salad was immaculate. The cups of French onion were… Worth revisiting! At the end of the day, this was a fresh and exciting French meal… Anybody would do well to stop on and explore the menu.

There are many mixed reviews here, so let’s set the record straight… We had the best brunch here this weekend: relaxing, outstanding service from Gisele and other staff, fantastic food and big portions in a cute neighborhood bistro. For coffee, they stood out by giving us freshly STEAMED milk not a little carafe of cheap half and half. Refills kept coming too. My friend said his lox Benedict had the best hollandaise he’s ever had. I had he lobster crêpe which had huge chunks of meat. The crepes despite being in a savory dish still tasted sweet; my only criticism is they should have nonsweetened for the savory dishes but otherwise loved the slightly spongey texture. My other friend also got crepes and made the observation. Gisele recommended the breakfast potatoes that Coke with the crêpe and they were so outstanding, like fat frites. I want to come back for the AYCE mussels Tuesday and Wednesday’s with 12 different flavors. It’s also open at 8am Sundays which was perfect because we got up early.

I meet up with a friend for lunch at Meet in Paris a couple of days ago when I was working in Culver City. At the peak lunch hour the place was pretty empty and we were easily able to get a table on the outside patio. As soon as we sat down my friend observed that his side plate was not completely clean and had some food particles sticking to it, so it was got to the attention of our server who quickly replaced it with a clean one. I started with an iced tea($ 3) and my friend decided to try a fancy French beer called Gavroche($ 11). We were told that the specials for that day were Steak Frites($ 18) and a French bento box which had a soup, grilled fish, fries and desert in the same plate. I got the Steak Frites medium while my friend decided to try the bento box. We were started off on a basket of bread and what looked like homemade un-processed butter. The bread was very average nothing to write home about and my friend enjoyed it with his beer which he characterized as plain. It took more than 15 minutes to get our food as they had started to get busy and were now almost 70% full. Taste wise my steak was really bad. It had a thick sinew running right through it which made eating it almost impossible. I was literally spitting out tendons in very bite. To make matters worse I had asked for it to be medium but what I got was too rare for my taste. Anyway the tendons made it impossible to eat. Both the fries and the sauce for the steak were good and I had to make do with them for my meal. My friend reported that the soup and desert in his bento box were good, the fish was just a little overcooked but still enjoyable and that he was not a big fan or the chips that he got in place of the fries(maybe we just misunderstood the contents of the bento box I’m not sure). As reported service was a bit slow but our server tried to be as attentive as he could, but he still messed up our bills(we had asked for separate bills) but we just paid them as it was just a couple of bucks off. Overall I was completely dissatisfied with my meal. It was evident that they had used a very poor cut of beef for my steak and had not cooked it correctly. I doubt that I will pick Meet in Paris again based on my current experience as there are tons of other restaurants that are much better in its immediate vicinity.
