If I could give them 10 stars I would. I have been coming here for a couple years. As we all know Mini dealers are few and far between so it’s nice to have a more local shop to go to. I have to say my first few encounters with them were not pleasant to say the least. Ari and whomever was «managing» were a nightmare. This time around I was hesitant to go back but I read the most recent good reviews and saw there were new people in place. Long story short — I pulled into my driveway and my Mini stalled and the check engine lights came on. I had the car towed to Miniworx and low and behold the engine was SHOT without any prior warning. Thankfully, I have a warranty. Unfortunately, the warranty company are horrible to deal with. They delivered not one but 3 wrong engines and took their sweet time between each delivery!!! Rich and his manager went above and beyond to get my car fixed and back to me. It took a MONTH for them to deliver the correct engine. Because of their stalking the warranty company I actually received a manufacturer engine which was infinitely better then the first three they were offering. Throughout the whole process Rich called me every couple of days to let me know the progress and was very honest about what was happening. Every time he called he was so polite and professional and a pleasure to deal with. How many times can you say that when you are dealing with fixing your car?!? I feel like it was a better relationship than most men I date! ;) lol. It feels like a brand new car (well basically it is now) If you haven’t been here for a while definitely give them another shot. It is like a completely different place. I cannot say enough good things about them. They are awesome!

So happy that I found these guys! I am new to the area, and hadn’t yet found a mechanic that I trust to do good work and not overcharge.
I brought my car in last week because it was due for the 60k mile check up, and the brake light was on. They walked me through everything that was being done to my car, why it needed to be done, recommendations, and made sure to stay within the budget I had set aside for this work.
They really went above and beyond when it came to my tires. I tried to be smart and order tires online to save money, but it turns out I ordered the wrong size! They were very resourceful and able to find me tires for only slightly more than what I paid for, and were still able to get the work done that day. I was prepared to pay the $ 80 shipping fee to return the tires I bought online, but MiniWorx found another customer who needed the same size tires, and paid me face value for them! I am so grateful for how caring they are for their customers.
I will definitely be back, and have found my new go-​to place for car repairs!

Rich & Rick are truly awesome men not one time did I feel I was being taken advantage of as a woman sometimes you can feel like you’re being played or told you need all this unnecessary work done when TRULY that’s not the case. THANKS FOR BEING SOOOOO AWSEOME:)!!!

I went in because I was stopped in the street because one of my lights was out by another mini driver. I went in and 70 dollars later I got one lightbulb change. That is more expensive than an oil change for one lightbulb. On top of that I’m not sure I needed the lightbulb to begin with as the mechanic came and and said that there was nothing wrong. I went into MiniWorx because I have a Mini and felt they knew what they were doing but now I won’t be back. I would have not spent more than $ 10 for a lightbulb anywhere else. 700% is price is not worth it no matter how clean the property is. Beware, if you have some lightbulbs out, go somewhere else, save your money!

I’ve been bringing my car here for a few years and see an uptick since the new manager, John started. Great personal service him and Rich. They go out of their way to explain things and they want you to be a satisfied customer. I’ve been impressed with their attention to detail.

I was really nervous to bring my car in but Rich was great at explaining what work needs to be done and working to make it not totally break the bank. They are extremely polite and great to talk to and I am so happy I brought my car here! Really great crew and very knowledgeable! I had to get new brake pads and new rotors and they ordered the parts for a same day repair.
Highly recommend! Especially because most places try to up sell women and I didn’t feel like they were doing this at all. Will be bringing my car here for any further work.

Writing another review for my favorite guys at the west la miniworx! John is the best! He always goes out of his way to help! Even all my simple questions and oil checks are never too much to ask! Max is great as well! I continue to tell all mini owners about this shop!!!

Go see John, super nice, honest, and goes out of his way to do his best. They have helped me with my Mini Cooper since 2012. There is no other place to go than here!

We researched local westside places to have our 2011 mini serviced more conveniently. We have been going to the Southbay dealer & quite happy other than distance.
After calling Miniworx to have our wipers changed we also accepted the «free all over complete inspection» They called about 3pm to tell us the «an ACC drive belt» was cracked. (A $ 16.46 belt costing $ 329.00 w/​labor).
There was also a 62.00 $ charge for securing the gas cap light & evac test by the tech that was apparently not included in their «Complete inspection».
The total for the 3hr visit was was $ 441.84, including our needed wiper blades. Seemed outrageous.
We checked w/​several mini dealers who all agreed this seemed to be inflated charges & a theres a remote chance that belt needed replacing at 29 000 miles.
We immediately called John at Miniworks & he agreed to reimburse 100 $ & offer a free oil change. «ooops i entered the wrong charges, my fault» he said. We’ll never know if we did i fact need that belt but overall this was a disappointing encounter while trying to keep my business local.
Beware.

After I Unilocaled about the bad experience that I had here last year, Steve (the former manager) wrote me a fairly lengthy email, in which he made some excuses for what had happened, and in the end, offered me a free oil change for my troubles. The whole thing just rubbed me the wrong way, and I had the distinct feeling that the only reason that he cared was because of the now public Unilocal review (he wasn’t very apologetic the day it happened). So, despite the fact that MiniWorx West LA is just so much more convenient for me, I’ve been going out of my way to get my car serviced at MiniCorsa in North Hollywood.
Flash forward a year later, and there’s a new service manager! I finally decided take MiniWorx up on the offer on my next oil change, hoping to find that things had improved. I’m happy to report that I had a great experience here, and found John, the new service manager, to be very genuine and to really care that each and every customer leave satisfied. He said that he read my review and really took my complaints to heart, and would make sure that no customer would ever have an experience like that again. I really believe that he meant it, and wasn’t just trolling for a positive Unilocal review (I did not tell him that I would update my review, nor did he ask me to).
I made an appointment for 9 am on Tuesday, and informed John that I would be waiting for my car so that I could go to work after it was serviced. As soon as I arrived, they started working on my car, and my oil change was done less than thirty minutes later. A check engine light had gone and off the week before, and they pulled the code and told me it was just due to a low oil level (then showed me how to check my oil). A light also indicated the need for a brake fluid flush, which they said they checked and didn’t need replacing yet. They really could have tried to upsell me on things here (like many places do when they see someone like me who doesn’t even know how to check their own oil) but they didn’t. I walked out of here with my free oil change and nothing else.
Really happy about the new management here, and hope that future experiences are this great!

John is the man! He really went above and beyond to make sure that both me and my car were happy when we left! Will absolutely be back should my Clubman need anymore help. Thanks guys!

My 2009 MINI hardtop suddenly lost power a couple of weeks ago while I was decelerating in traffic. I took the key out and it restarted with no problem. Then it happened again last week, so I decided to take it here, after reading the Unilocal reviews. I have never been steered wrong by Unilocal reviews, and this was no exception. It helped too that MiniWorx West LA is close to my home, and it turned out that the staff were great. Ari booked me an appointment on the phone and, busy as they are, they honored it even though I brought my Mini there a bit outside of the time frame.
John was so personable and most importantly, HONEST, in not being able to discern the problem with my car. As a woman walking into a repair shop, let’s be real, you kind of expect to get ripped off, or sold a bill of goods. The fact that John looked at my car for two days and admitted that the diagnostics couldn’t find anything wrong was, while a bit worrisome, still a relief that he, and MiniWorx didn’t try to change parts needlessly just to make a profit.
I had them replace my brake sensor that was out because my husband replaced the brakes and somehow didn’t put the sensor back in. MiniWorx charged me a very fair price of $ 64 total to do that work.
While I still don’t know why my lovely Mini has been shutting off recently, I can say for sure that whatever ails her, I will be going back to MiniWorx for help when needed. This place is
A-​OK for being thorough, fair, and honest.

My original interaction with MiniWorx had been very positive, and then dampened by what I’m going to chalk up to miscommunication. The owner himself personally reached out and very humbly worked with me to understand my frustration. The situation was resolved to my satisfaction. That speaks volumes about the shop and am happy to give them 5 stars. It is not common to have a positive ending to what had intermittently been a bitter situation. Kudos to the management at MiniWorx.

Ari was a great help. I took my 06 BMW 750i here for the second time and they always solve any issue I had. Even offered a free rental for an extension due to parts delay. Good place to bring a BMW!

So the cool guys at Pep Boys were honest that my car needed MINI specialists to fix the problem (s). Jumped on Unilocal,saw MiniWorx. great reviews but I needed to find out why for myself.
Steve and Ari were not only walking Wikipedias of MINI, they rattled off info in a straightforward-​non-​condescending-​to-​a-​woman way, but were NICE too! I was amazed. I experienced a rare combination of friendly professionalism that’s hard to articulate. You’d have to see for yourself.
Plus, the whole process was smooth — By the end, I was sitting back in a cushiony sofa flipping through CondeNast Traveler while chatting w everyone.
I may be late to the party but now that I’m here I’m not going anywhere else for MINI service!

My friend recommended me MiniWorx after my BMW wouldn’t start. I got it towed there first thing in the morning. Dropped it off around 10am. Received an email by noon telling me that I needed to replace my fuel pump and fuel filter. I called them to confirm pricing and they told me they could have it completed the SAME DAY! 5 hours later I am picking up my car. I have never had a no nonsense experience with an auto shop before. They told me what needed to be fixed, didn’t BS me about additional work, and waited after they were closed because I was running a little late to pick up my car.
The service staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the facility is clean, prices are reasonable, and the owner has an adorable dog sleeping in a cute dog bed. I can’t say enough good things about my experience here. They have earned my business for as long as I have my BMW

Had to bring my car back in for additional servicing, in which I wrote a very positive review on. Steve and his techs again handled me beyond proper thus another one.
Steve was directly responsible for giving me guidance on getting MINI too oblige me on warranty matters that I would of never known about, that I was about to pay Miniworx to do. $ 4200 quote from MINI SouthBay handled but only after prying them and them ‘looking’ into it. Without Steve telling me this I would of got fleeced. Very cool
Also I wasnt able to commit to my booked appt as planned. I came in as I could later and they handled me. I find it weird customer before said there is scheduling issues. Everytime Ive been there they put my car on the rack as I waited with either no appt, or me not able to make my committed time.
Final note: Car drives better then expected, the transmission service that MINI most stupidly suggest at 100k or the lifetime I had done early, car rides considerably smoother. Noticed they did a couple things unsolicited. $ 250 well spent.
Lastly I was honored a small discount without any prompting on my part as I didnt even know about it… again class

Should I apologize for writing yet another review for this wonderful establishment?
Last year was the WORST year of my life! If you are hunting for a new job in LA, you need your car to get you to the interview… and, ultimately to get you to work. It is bad enough stressing about everything else. So, my little darling Mini has been taking a beating (long days, longer miles).
Maybe the ONLY plus in this adventure was knowing that MiniWorx was there for me and I could absolutely depend upon them! More than once, I got paranoid about some little oddity and they checked it out — either resolving it then & there or letting me know the temporary fix to buy a little time.
There is no question that I received «special» treatment… but here that MAY be the rule (instead of the exception)!!! I can only say — yet again — that they CARE… about your car, about you, and about good service. In my world that translates to TRUST… something I dispense less than I would like (with good reason).
Really, isn’t this almost as essential as having a good Doctor? One less thing to worry about… I am happy; I am grateful. They consistently are the BEST, in my opinion.

Roger, Steve, Ari and all the mechanics do an excellent job. They are a 100% honest, super friendly and very knowledgeable. When I drop my baby off, 2007 Mini S Convertible for a service, I know she is in good hands.

Roger is incredible! I bought my ‘07MCS last week and spent a LOT of time researching reputable shops. I emailed Roger last night and he allowed me to drop my car off this morning and drive me to work afterwards! Without me asking, he offered a free 32-​point inspection and to call me on my cell with updates of my new baby getting what I metaphorically consider her immunization shots and X-​rays :)
Entrance to the super clean and charming office is to the right of the 5 service bays full of gorgeous minis (and a 7series Beemer for good measure). I wasn’t clear on where to enter, ’til I was greeted by the kind and beautiful smile of Randi (Randy?). I’ve been an avid Unilocal reader for over 3 years, loving comprehensive reviews but always too selfish to take the time to write 1 myself… until now! These miniworx folks are wonderful to be around and I’ll absolutely update Unilocal with how my baby is doing!!!
