Specialties

NextSpace is the Workplace for the New Economy.

We provide innovative physical and virtual infrastructure that freelancers, entrepreneurs, and creative class professionals need to succeed in the 21st century knowledge economy. In an increasingly disconnected world, NextSpace creates a collaborative community that is revolutionizing the nature of work. Our business model is simple: NextSpace sells membership into that collaborative community.

Our members come from a wide variety of industries: software, design, marketing, legal services, architecture, and engineering, just to name a few. Some are lifelong freelancers, while some have been downsized from bigger companies and are just beginning to venture out on their own. Some telecommute to bigger companies on the other side of the country or the other side of the world. Some are starting growth-minded companies with dreams of a big exit, while some are using their skills simply to earn a living.

Meet the Manager

Nate Q.

Manager

Nate grew up in the OC (sorry, «Orange County») but was drawn northward to UCSC where he found a welcome home on the beautiful Santa Cruzian shores. During his 13-year stint in the great city, Nate spent a good deal of his time bartending, which luckily for his coworkers, is still a frequent hobby of his. It was also at this time that he met NextSpace, who first introduced him to the Coworking stratosphere! After moving to LA two years ago so his wife could attend UCLA (what a guy!) Nate has found a new home as NextSpace’s illustrious Roaming Builder, traveling from space to space, keeping harmony in the Coworking world. His favorite color is a dead tie between greenish blue, and of course, orange! Nate enjoys hiking with his wife and child, building, getting his hands dirty and is no stranger to a fantasy football draft. If he could have any superpower it would definitely be the ability to fly. Mostly fueled by his distain for airfare.
