Omg !!! I don’t know where to begin.
Consuelo is the best ever! I had a really really long hair and it was black and so boring. I’ve had my hair like that for 6 years. No color, nothing.
My aunt and my mom comes here as well .
So I told my aunt to make an appointment with her .
I went and first I did an ombré. I was In love! She did exactly like what I showed her.
And then couple months later I wanted to be more bold and get something more edgy, so I told her I wanted my hair really short and Blonde.
I trust her with everything and she will tell you like it is. She really cares about her customers.
Everybody there is really friendly and great vibe.
So … Today when I was done with my hair, I was soo so so in love ! I didn’t know if I wanted to cry or smile of happiness ! It was that good
It was 29 292 929 292 299 times better than what I expected !!
So if you are looking for an amazing result with great service, this is your PLACE! I bet you, you won’t regret it!

I get my hair cut by Lauryn. She does such a fantastic job.
I have brought my brother here many times and he loves the way his hair turns out every single time. And that’s saying a lot seeing as he’s a teenager and all teens are particular about their look.
Lauryn does a fantastic job listening to what you want and need and blows it out of the ball park for me.
I just got my hair washed, cut and blown out this past weekend for $ 65. She cut over 5 inches of my hair and I said goodbye to all of my split ends. I’ve always had long hair and I just couldn’t stand it anymore and she did everything I wanted and more to make sure I felt happy with my hair.

Consuelo is amazing! Went in for a cut and she rejuvenated my hair. She fixed my layers and blended in my not so great bangs from a previous cut at another salon. I can’t remember what they washed my hair with but it smelled amazing and left my hair super soft. I’m definitely coming back here!

I had my first appointment today with Consuelo. I was way overdue (it’s been like a year). I didn’t want to do anything dramatic but in addition to getting rid of split ends I wanted some styling that would look nice and be easy to manage for the next few months (baby on the way). Consuelo took my minimal direction and made suggestions that were right on the money. I’m thrilled with the layered cut I got (long enough to still tie back) and the side-​swept bangs (long enough to still tuck behind by ear). She has great instincts. I felt the $ 65 price tag was extremely reasonable, the small salon has a great vibe, and the basic shampoos and conditioners they use are mainly vegan and/​or contain minimal chemicals (which was my pregno-​based criteria in the first place).

I had an amazing haircut with Consuelo. She is amazing!

Went in last min with no appointment with a head full of grays and left 1 hour and 40 min later with a beautiful head of dark brown free of any grays glossy hair. Price was surprisingly reasonable considering that my hair is long and thick. Consuela was my stylist and she was very friendly and accommodating. The products they use are all organic too if you’re into that thing. I will definitely be back :))

This was my second visit here and I loved my experiences so far. Consuelo is very accommodating and your hair will feel smooth and revived (if it was anything like mine). My cut cost $ 65 but if you want a great cut that shouldn’t be a big deal to you. Affordable for LA if you think about it.
Parking is street (metered) or the neighborhood if you get lucky.
Call for an appt. She hasn’t turned me down for a same day appt yet. Woo!
The shampoo/​wash is great — it’s typically done by someone else but they don’t skimp on that at all. Thank God.
I’ll be back for color!

I love the owner Consuelo! I have a full head weave and she totally understood what to do and how to treat it. She was patient, understanding and assisted me in creating a comfortable environment for me. We spoke about everything in life and importantly her knowing that I come from New York, she tried to help and guide me to visit some places near the salon. Consuelo, is a professional and her assistant as well.
I love this salon and will be returning.

I love this place! It’s always really clean and has an inviting atmosphere with friendly staff and amazing customer service!
I have super frizzy curly hair and a very sensitive scalp so I have a really hard time trusting anyone cutting my hair or getting a blowout.
Lauryn Bland is absolutely without a doubt the best hair stylist I’ve ever been to. She’s funny, kind, and very knowledgable about hair. She knows how to cut and style curly hair which I found is pretty hard to find in this city. Also she doesn’t yank my hair out of my head while getting a blowout she’s gentle and the results are out of this world.
My recommendation would be getting the keratin treatment (not Brazilian blowout, this is wayy better! It lasts way longer!) I’ve never loved my hair more. It smooths out the curls, eliminates all frizz and cuts my drying time in half! It’s literally a miracle treatment! Come see her!

It was time for me to get a haircut. My hair was basically down to my butt and it looked pretty dead. I was afraid of actually cutting thee goth but it was time for a change.
I booked an appointment with Lauryn Bland who is the ONLY PERSON I trust with my hair.
She took about 4 inches off and gave me lots of layers. She then blew my hair out straight. It looked INCREDIBLE. I have never thought I was someone who made people turn there heads, but after my hair cut that’s what was happening.
Even my friends were stunned at how gorgeous I looked with my new haircut. I’m still turning heads and I don’t feel badly about going a little shorter. It definitely is fitting.

My first time at this salon and my experience was phenomenal! I left completely satisfied. Consuelo was hospitable, professional, knowledgeable, and knew exactly what she was doing. She treated me as if I were a longtime client. I have already recommended friends and family. I found my new salon. and I love it!

This place is my favorite salon. I will not go any where else from now on. Great service I think the person who did my hair was the owner sorry I didn’t get her name but next time. Her passion was overwhelming she loves what she does and it shows. She is friendly and genuine not superficial like some of the other salons I been to. Like I said this is the place for me I will be back.

This salon was amazing! I work from about 8 until 6 all week long and that’s makes it very difficult to get in a great haircut, but the owner here accommodated to me, gave me tea, and gave me such a relaxing hair salon experience. I got my hair cut into a slightly inverted bob — and it only cost me $ 65. The owner is a sweet heart. I HIGHLY suggest you check this little gem out.

I’ve been a client of Consuelo’s for 7 years now. I am a loyal client because Consuelo is someone I can consult with about my hair. She knows what’s best and I always appreciate her professionalism. She doesn’t just cut or color your hair, she explains what she’s doing and why and makes you feel really comfortable in that chair. I am so happy to support Consuelo as the owner of this salon and have even brought in my mom as a new client. This salon is clean and beautifully decorated and it’s always a great experience.

Silhouette salon is immaculate I must say. Its super cute, upscale and I love how there’s three stylists. I always root for the more intimate businesses! Also the staff is very sweet.
I got a deep condition, haircut and style from Dominique, who was just amazing.
She took her time and while she gave me a deep condition, she made sure I was comfortable which is something I appreciate! A lot of times I go to a salon and I leave needing a neck massage from laying on a rigid sink with an aggressive shampoo-​ist. lol
Not the case here, she was super accommodating and even asked me if I wanted tea etc. what a cutie.
I am extremely happy with the job Dominique did, I loved it so much I asked if I could take a picture with her to post on instagram! lol, I will definitely be back!

Came here to get my haircut refreshed again by my gorgeous stylist Dominique yesterday. «^-^» She cut my hair short with an A-​line bob and side swept bangs during the holidays. She suggested we also do chestnut highlights. Before that I had long hair past my shoulders and my roots were horrendous! I had gotten it really lightened in March and toned to a warm brown but my black roots had grown out so much it looked like ombré. The salon I went to in March is pricey and because I didn’t work as much last year, I’d sadly neglected it. LOVED it because it gives me the lighter shade and grows out well so my lazy butt doesn’t look terrible when I don’t retouch my color. LoL. I attached pictures, but my color was done back in December I think, so the pictures are just for freshly cut hair. As you can see though, the color still looks nice and I can go awhile with it still.
The salon itself is beautifully decorated in a modern, clean style and the selection of products to maintain your hair is quite good. FYI, they don’t have a parking lot or restroom inside the salon as it is small. I think they are running some specials but I forget the prices. For sure I read a flyer about a deep conditioning treatment, but I was just there to get the cut. The owner Consuelo is a sweetheart too!

So nice to find an organic & cruelty-​free hair salon in Culver City! It’s so important for your health (and your hair!) to avoid nasty chemicals so common in hair and beauty products. They offer a nice retail selection of healthy, paraben-​free brands like Pureology and SO CHIC Los Angeles.
Consuelo is also incredibly sweet!
