History
Established in 2015.
Tangaroa Fish Market and raw bar is a New Zealand (Kiwi) themed fresh seafood market and restaurant opened by owners Mark & Suzy White. We named the market after one of the Maori gods, Tangaroa, who is the god of the Oceans (similar to Poseidon in Greek mythology). Maoris are the native people of New Zealand, which is Mark’s heritage.

Mark W.
Business Owner
A native of Wellington, New Zealand, Mark has always had a passion for fresh seafood, especially shell fish. This started when he would dive for it off the coast. He also has always loved Fish n Chips, and has worked very hard and getting the best combination of quality fish and batter.
