Hey guys, so I had already a bad tint on my car and I came here to basically take my old and bad tint off and replace with a new tint same color as the one before, to be honest it was so helpful that Joe was actually willing to take my old tint off for a very small price and all this was done very fast, now my car looks much better. I would totally recommend this tint shop to anyone having problems with previous bad tint!

I’ve been waiting to post my review for this business because I hate to post a 3-​star review on a solid 5-​star business page. But my experience was definitely not 5 star and after speaking with the shop owner, I’m surprised nobody else has posted anything other than 5 star reviews.
Pros:
The guy is super friendly, professional, and very easy to talk to.
It was fairly quick — roughly took 2 hours or something like that.
It’s a small shop so it feels like you get the attention your car needs.
Cons:
I know a lot of people talk about a $ 100 price to do all of their windows. I have a Toyota Prius and when I asked about the $ 100 price, he said it’s $ 100 for the door windows, the back triangles, and the rear windshield. It costs an extra $ 10 for each of the front triangle windows and $ 30 for the window below the rear windshield on a Prius. I paid the extra $ 20 for the two front triangles but did not pay the $ 30 for the rear window below the windshield.
My main complaint is the amount of dirt, dust, whatever stuck in between my tint and my window. I saw some of the spots when I picked up my car but thought they were just bubbles. He told me, like many other tint places, that bubbles may show up but should gas out over the next few days. After a week and the bubbles were still there, I realized it looked like there were pieces of dust, or dirt, or whatever.
I swung by the shop to show him, and he said that was normal, but not to worry because it wouldn’t affect the quality of the tint or ability for it to stay adhered to the window. It’s great that the tint won’t have a problem sticking to the window, but it’s bothersome that there are at least 15 specks of dirt trapped on each window. He basically told me that it happens with all tint jobs and there’s no way to keep it clean to avoid particles from getting in there. I left disappointed but feeling like «it is what it is».
Then I started researching online and found that the overwhelming consensus is that if you have dirt in your tint, you went to a shop that doesn’t do good work. Maybe a speck of dirt here or there is acceptable, but definitely not the 10 – 20 specks on each window that I have. I called a couple other local tint shops and took my car to one of them to get their opinion. They told me it was a dirty tint job and they could redo it without any of the dirt/​dust but I would have to pay to have the original tint removed first. I haven’t done it yet because I hate to think I’ll be paying almost $ 200 just to get back to «stock» before paying to have new tint installed.
I’m surprised none of these other reviews mention dust/​dirt since the shop owner says it is common and impossible to avoid. Maybe I am the 1 out of 100 that had so much dust that it was actually a bother. I’m trying to be fair with my 3 stars because Joe is really nice (like many other people said) but the work he did on my car was simply not good. Although I’m left staring at dirt whenever I look out my window, at least it’s a little cooler in the hot summer sun, I guess…

Just got my tail lights smoked. Great specials right now. $ 100 for full car tint. Like $ 50-​$ 80 for tail lights depending what type of product you want. Joe is mad cool too. Cash only

I arrived on time & the tech was ready for me. He didn’t hard sell anything & he honored the $ 100 Unilocal deal. It took about 2 ½ hrs to finish but it’s done perfectly!!!

Heard about Joe from my boyfriends co worker however it took about a week before we can make it out due to him being somewhat distant and my work schedule. Luckily there wasn’t much traffic and he’s right off the 405, so convenient!
We got there and he explained everything to us from what the law requires to the type of tint that can be used. Joe was very professional. He didn’t even accept the payment beforehand, he advised us we can pay him when it’s all set and done. Process only took about 2 hours, he advised us of some places to hangout nearby but we just caught an über and made our way to the mall which was only 10 minutes away.
When I seen the final results I was so happy! My Mini looked great! Joe did advise us that we might see some watermarks but it will take time for the tint to set in and the more exposure to the sun the better. He also put tape on my window buttons so I won’t roll them down.
I highly recommend! I think for it being a small business you get so much professionalism. Tint has a lifetime warranty and he even gave us a receipt, folded it up and put in in an envelope. Small little details like that made this a great experience. Other businesses don’t care and just want the money.

They were able to take me today without an appointment and did an amazing job. Life time warranty so I’ll repost if anything changes but it looks so clean and nice and he washed my car as well! For $ 140 I got my Toyota Prius all windows done and a little slice share on the front windshield. You can get four different tints. On the back windows and back side I got the darkest which is good for sun blocking and hiding your belongings.

Called in Monday afternoon, and set up an appointment for Tuesday morning. Joe is clearly very good at what he does and he is very thorough with making sure that you leave satisfied. Dropped off the car at 10am, picked it up at 1pm.
Don’t be intimidated by the $ 100 price if you think it’s too good to be true — he is a true professional and the work is top notch. Tint goes edge to edge, no bubbles, quality ASWF film.
And most importantly, unlike MANY other businesses out there, he NEVER asked me to leave a good review in exchange for anything. Actually, he never even mentioned Unilocal at all. I wish all businesses were as straightforward as his.

He left my car just how I wanted it. I wish I went a little darker on the 2 front but so far so good. I love it!!! I recommend this place for anyone wanting to get a good deal. $ 100 for all my windows except the front windshield. Not bad compare to $ 300 ones. It took about 2 – 3 hours. I am a firm believer of the «you get what you pay for» saying. I will never skimp on certain things and tint is one of them. I have had about 6 of my personal cars tinted in the last 4 years and feel I can see a good tint job and a bad one. For the location, Joe has a good spot, easy access, close to the freeway, some food nearby and parking on the premises. Also,
It’s safe, I personally feel safe anywhere, but I would feel comfortable sending my fiancé there alone. The price is crazy, $ 100 for 7 windows, 2 front, 2 back, 2 small back windows and back window all for $ 100! The job was immaculate. Tint to the edges, the color was on point and the customer service was top notch. No matter what vehicle, give this guy a shot. Joe is good at what he does and gives you warranty for the work. I found Tek 3 Tint on Unilocal and due to the great reviews I made an appointment to get the windows tinted on my new car. Joe only charges $ 100 to tint all side and back windows and offers various shades including 5% LIMO, 20% DARK, 35% MEDIUM, 50% LIGHT. He was on time for my appointment and took a little over 2 hours to complete the job. He has a small couch for his customers to sit and wait outside and there is also a Subway in the same parking lot. If you decide to leave he offers to text you when he is done. Joe did a great job and I would highly recommend him for car tinting services.

I was looking for a place with good reviews and a low price to get my windows tinted and came across Tek 3 Tint. They had a $ 100 promotion for a complete tint (all windows except the front windshield, which would be $ 60 extra) and no negative reviews. This is by far the cheapest quote I got so I booked an appt right away.
When I showed up, Joe walked me through the process and made recommendations for me based on what I wanted. He was really patient, friendly, and accommodating. I decided to get a 35% tint for the front 2 windows and a 20% tint for the back 5. He told me it would take about 2 hours and that he’d text me when it was done. He finished in 2 hours and when I came back, I was really happy with how the tint came out. I gave him $ 120 ($ 100 plus $ 20 tip) and was about to leave when he stopped me and told me I gave him $ 20 extra. Honest guy. When I got in my car it was WAY less hot than it was before!
