Love it here! Love that there’s a little patio outside.
I have only been here on the weekends and enjoy the band and patio. Drinks are good, and I like the diverse crowd!

Here for a peppy Prince tribute night — glad I came out and sad it took this event to have me find this wonderful little hole in the wall in Culver City. Going to see if my singer-​songwriter friends can play here, the owner seems very open to that!

Chilled and had drinks with a friend of mine tonight. We chatted, just wish there was music playing, but we came kinda early around 6:00 PM. Like the other reviews said, very dicey, casual.
Patio outside is cool, I just wanted to leave due to the smoking.

Tiny dive bar, loads of fun! They seem to have music nearly every night. I’m here on a Sunday and it’s been a blast. Don’t show up in a suit. It’s a relaxed kinda atmosphere. It’s a bit small and has a nice patio in the back. Definitely check it out!

I think we found out new favorite spot for Culver city. This spot is fun, divey, and has an awesome back patio where you can chill and enjoy the weather. The bartender Stephanie is very cool and on top of things. There is a stage and we were told there is live music every night so we will definitely have to go back to listen to some of the bands.

Great little bar! Not super expensive and they have live music. Nice hometown feel to it. Could use some better acoustics but quite a fun evening!

Great dive bar. Bartender was more than willing to figure out how to make whatever drink tempted us. At one point, one of the patrons even directed everyone out of the bar to spot the International Space Station in the sky. Definitely will go again.

Probably the best dive bar I have ever visited. The free music was sensational (Patrolled by Radar and Stumpwaller). The place was packed with courteous guests and the bar staff was friendly. Real decent prices and the sound system was perfect for the small venue… not too loud.

My favorite bar in Los Angles (technically Culver City). Live music every night. Usually something great. The bartenders are fantastic. Great jukebox when a band isn’t on. And they have great selection of beer and whiskey. I try to make it in here once a week just to cleanse my soul.

This one gets my «what am I doing here» vote for the year! Sunday night, 12 am, after a concert, buddy of mine wanted to stop in because he’s never been, and lives around the corner so to say. Well, there were some toasty folks spouting off jibberish and were really loud. Kind of obnoxious. And then, we ordered 2 Newcastles at 7 bucks a pop… One and done, thank you. Old place has a certain… errr… charm (?) to it, but even lif I lived closer, I’d probably find another spot to hang.

Wow!!! Have a great location, personally huge love the side because have heavy color full lighting and awesome drink. Always time my friend choice the side. Every time we got delicious food and all the food is healthy. Otherwise it’s a comfortable place for us and our love. It is not highly great service but comfortable.

A friend of mine is a regular here and decided to have a post-​wedding celebration here on a Saturday afternoon. I stopped by to join in the celebration and it was a lot of fun. Drinks were pretty cheap, $ 7 for a mimosa. The inside area is a bit small but they have bands coming to play here often. The bar also has an outside patio that is a bit more spacious and it is nice to sit out here and mingle with people day or night.

$ 15 for a well vodka/​soda and a Jack/​Ginger was not the tally I was expecting from a dive bar. Still, seeing as we were the only Asians in a 2 mile radius and I was wearing my light blue linen suit — replete with flamboyant orange pocket square — in a sea of non-​ironic gingham shirts and broken in denim… well, dear readers, I made special allowances for racial and socioeconomic disparities and chalked it up to a valuable lesson in the human experience and of course, free market capitalism.
Very unique vibe to this place: Had a dude on stage singing and strumming esoteric 2 minute country songs while the bartender would then cheer on and ask for something even more obscure. With some interest, I noted that although I did not recognize any of the lyrics, all of the aforementioned tunes incorporated only G, C and D, with Em and Am making sporadic guest appearances to ostensibly keep the audience engaged. In the history of music, very rarely has so much been done with so little… minus you know, Sade’s vocal range and Meg White’s drumming ability. Still, I found the musician’s voice to be quite pleasant and the song selection definitely fit the atmosphere of the bar to a T.
Interesting clientele too, as wont to be found at most dive bars, I suppose. My drinking companion wryly noted in a conspiratorial sotto voce, «Jeez, John you always take me to the nicest places. I’m the only girl in here». This puzzled me because there was a female customer sitting to her immediate right at the bar. Only later on did I notice her sharp jawline and strong musculature associated with high T levels and realized my companion was indeed correct in her initial remarks. Or was she? I mean, this is America right, where we can self identify with whatever label we choose irrespective of gender, race and/​or abject lack of reasonable thinking, no? OBAMAAAA!!!
Anyway, $ 20 was a small price to pay for the experience. Also, will definitely think to dress down next time to get some additional data points on their (what seems to be) surge pricing.

Divey! Divey! Divey! Good music and beer. If this is what you are looking for, this is the hole to go to… if you want big, classy, waiter service, you need a different kind of bar. LOVED this location — the band was great. Just be aware how small the space is, no food, drinks only. Street parking and a lot a few storefronts down.

I love this local venue. Small, divey, the energy gets amazing because the place packs up. Outdoor space in back (complete with aquarium) is great to get a breather. Love their gypsy jazz on Monday nights. Fun spot to perform with decent sound.

This place ROCKS. Literally. I came in to watch a friends band and was immediately taken back to my old punk rock days growing up.
The entire bar is slightly larger than my living room (and that’s not saying much for my quaint beach bungalow), but it’s nostalgic and without feeling like a total hipster, nestling up to the bar gives you a sense of ‘cool’ you may or may not actually possess. Or maybe it’s just me.
I’m looking forward to going back when I’m off the wagon (had to take a drink) but that goes to show, if I can enjoy myself this much at a bar without any booze, how awesome will it be after a few brewskis?!?

I love it when I go into a bar and it has the stench of cigarettes and old furniture! Always a good sign. Very chill dive bar with cheap drinks! I was getting gin/​tonics all night, they were $ 5 each. Not bad at all. We came around 7pm, all the seats in the bar area were taken but the four tables they had were completely empty.
They have one or two little tvs, a little too small to catch a game but they have an older juke box with rock oldies you can choose from. Don’t think u can choose a wrong song, u get to pick 3 songs for $ 1.
Wouldn’t mind stopping by for a drink, there’s other bars around the area so you can go bad hopping.

Yes, yes, yes. This is it. I love this bar!
This bar is the definition of a dive. It’s super small, it’s sort of dingy in a good way, and the ambiance is terrific. Even though it’s extremely small, the cinema prides itself on their live music every week with no cover. If you’re not from L.A. you wouldn’t know that live music is super difficult to find here, especially without a cover.
The owner is not willing to get draft beer because he’s never had it in the bar and he’s going to keep it that way. I totally respect that, and it’s still my favorite bar in L.A. Out back is a covered outdoor patio with great tables for chilling out and having a smoke. The patio area expands the bar by two fold, haha! Make sure to check out the fish tank and old refrigerators.
Mark my words, I will be the duchess of this place in no time.
