Law Offices of Mark Weinstein, P.C. helps individuals and institutions navigate real estate transactions and real estate litigation. Mr. Weinstein is a Special Assistant Attorney General (SAAG) for the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT). Approximately 60% of the firm’s work is eminent domain or condemnation law work for GDOT including title work, closings and litigation. Other work includes eminent domain or condemnation law work for private property owners against condemning authorities other than GDOT, and closings and real estate litigation for individuals and institutions including land disputes, broker commission law, landlord/tenant matters, HOA issues, foreclosure avoidance and short sales and other real estate law matters.
Law Offices of Mark Weinstein, P.C. is a small firm consisting of three attorneys, part-time paralegals and a part-time bookkeeper/billing clerk. All work is done in a home-office with the possibility of some work being done remotely.

Mark Weinstein has been in private practice since 1996. He has represented the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) as a Special Assistant Attorney General (SAAG) since 2001 and is a frequent presenter at the annual GDOT SAAG Continuing Legal Education Conference. In addition to his work with the GDOT, Mr. Weinstein works aggressively for property owners whose property has been condemned or is under threat of condemnation from counties, local governments and condemning authorities other than GDOT.
Mr. Weinstein has closed hundreds of real estate transactions and litigated hundreds of cases. He also represents local governments, lenders, brokers, agents and small and large private property owners. He is a former professor of political science and law and an expert in real estate law and eminent domain law.
