They insisted on taking an anal temp on our newborn, despite him not showing any signs of fever. When I politely asked if they could perhaps take the temp in a less invasive fashion (forehead, armpit, mouth), and then if it looked bad they could do the anal temp, we were met with hostility. The nurse took a hasty forehead temp which read some ridiculous number (105 or somesuch). The doctor then came in and I asked what would happen if we refused the anal temp; she replied we would be «ordered» to go directly to the children’s hospital for further evaluation. When I asked what would happen if we did not comply with this «order» she said she would call Child Protective Services. They got their anal probe, his temp was fine, and we immediately left the office. Idiots.

Love this practice. All the doctors and nurses are super sweet. It’s rare that you have to wait a long time if you make an appointment. Love how timely they are but yet answer all your questions without rushing you out the door.

This is a big mainstream pediatric practice. I have no major complaints really. They say they are breastfeeding friendly but they always seem surprised that I am breastfeeding my daughter (she is only one; not like I am nursing a 5 year old). I go there because of the location and they have Saturday hours at the Alpharetta office. I have seen Dr Silverman and Josephson. Both are nice. Today we saw a NP named Gaynor and she was nice as well. If you were struggling to breastfeed and you were going to this practice, i think you would quit (which is sad). But all in all, we like them and they serve their purpose (primary care for a healthy 1 year old).

I love this pediatric practice. Robert Burnham is my favorite doctor there. He has a terrific bedside manner. He listens well and answers all my questions. He is super with kids too.

The wait is never long, and appointments aren’t too hard to get. Dr. Eaton is the best! She answers all our questions and makes us feel at ease. We had a preemie, and she’s been so helpful. Because our son is so small, we have him on a delayed vaccine schedule, and they are very supportive. I highly recommend this office. Some of our friends see other doctors there and love them too.
