Bobby Builder is a Saratoga contractor that was started as a small handyman service in 1985 building fences and framing houses. Ever since then we have grown to do everything from general contracting services to remodeling and building home additions.

Bobby gave me a variable, labor only quote, $ 2500 to $ 3,000. I knew of course it would come to $ 3,000, that was a given, but when he handed me the invoice he had tacked on another $ 500 without any advance discussion or a re-​guote of any fashion… I find this a little unethical and possibly illegal.
It was a fairly simple job, replace some porch decking and dry rotted trim. Bobby did an adequate job with the decking but the finish work on the trim looks amateurish, overlapping joints instead of the original mitered joints and where he did miter some joints on the top pieces the joints don’t always match. Thank God for caulk.
All in all I would not use Bobby Builder again.

Hired Bobby to do a whole-​house remodel, 1850 sq ft. Coffered ceilings, complete re-​plumb, rewire, new power service, new master bath, new kitchen, hardwood floors, recessed LED lighting, door and window additions, even roof, gutter, stucco work, you name it. He and his crew went out of their way to take on any request and get it done at a very reasonable price. He easily passed each planning department inspection along the way. I highly recommend Bobby and his team!

I have been using Bob for 15 years. He is the kind of contractor that you can easily trust. Never began to have an issue with him honoring his word. My premises were always in good and safe hands. The guy has integrity. Also he has been doing this long enough that he has seen all the circumstance you may need to see and benefit from. His ideas (when asked) always seem to add to the final result.
