Great service

Bad experience there. My child was hurt by pins couple times. Finally, we got a too tight dress. and we were asked to pay more money for changing the size again.

Um good hem job for a few days until it fell apart. I Rehemmed it myself. I Iiked the woman there. Very nice.

Good quality in alterations. They have been great in doing a great job in short amount of time. I took 2 dressy shirts to be slim them down and they made it prefect forming to my body. I am very pleased with their work. Its a bit expensive but i cant afford taking my stuff to places where they ruin it and i can’t do anything about it after. I highly recommend this place for alterations.

I went in to shorten two dresses. She measured my front and marked the dress. Unfortunately, she did not account for my derrière. The dressed came back shorter in the back and smelling like moth balls. Oh btw, it was $ 20 each. RIP OFF!

I’ve brought many jeans to Lees and haven’t been let down once. Most of the time I get my jeans slimmed out, tapered and shortened.
Everyone there is very friendly and show great professionalism.
I’ve only had one problem out of all the times I have been there but it was my fault because I wasn’t specific enough about what I wanted. So if you plan on going there make sure you are very clear about what you want.
Other than that Lees is fantastic and I think I have a little crush on Lee. Maybe.

Brought in a pair of jeans that needed to be shortened, and they took great care of me. The service was quick, and very cheap to get it done. Highly recommended!

I take all my alterations here. She fixes things other seamstresses won’t even try. Reasonable rates, fast work, friendly service. I wish everyone ran their business like her.

Just tried on the corduroy pants I dropped off before writing my previous review. They’re TOO short. When I sit down, you can see the backs of my legs, above my ankle socks. So embarrassing — I’ll have to low-​ride them all day now. Thank goodness she put a dorky two-​inch hem at the bottom so I can have them taken out. I just love the addition of the faux crease up the front of my pants, too, that’s not suppose to be there. What a waste of money and time!

Always helpful. I have used them to fix several jeans, always cheap and well done.
Just stopped in to have a button fixed and they fixed it for me right there for $ 1. So great.

Mrs. Lee has been my Go — to gal for my jeans. I always get the original hem. What I love most about her is that she actually does the original hem right. I’ve seen some outrageous things like the tailor cut off the bottom then sewed it back onto the shorter length of the jean and then iron it «flat» That does not happen here!
I do agree the prices are slightly high the last time it was $ 18 for the hem, but I trust her and i always know that its going to be done right.
So even though yeah it may take a long time to get my jeans done, like a week lead time.
and so yeah the prices seem to keep creeping up.
I totally understand!
But i’m still going back!

Today was the last straw. This place is fine for my needs: hem my Banana Republic dress slacks etc. I have gotten around 6 – 10 pairs of pants done here and the quality was never an issue. What irks me is the steady price increases and Mrs. Lee’s DENIAL of said increases. Every time the price goes up I quote what I paid the last time and every time she denies it. Today I was charged $ 12 to hem pants while last time I was charged $ 8 and when I first started coming it was $ 6.
As a business owner I have no problem with businesses raising prices but why not state your prices on a menu above your counter and admit what you’re done?
I am sorry but the BS/​Lies require me to give them one star and I am taking my business elsewhere even if it means driving out of my way.
If you must go make sure to ask how much on the day you drop off the clothes and make sure she writes it on your ticket.

This place, very recently, became my FORMER go-​to tailor. Mrs. Lee is super nice, and generally does a decent job. However, there are a few hiccups here and there, and this past time was the last straw for me, at least for the more expensive items that I need tailored.
One thing that I should say is, if you make it a point to be ultra specific about what you want done, then I think Lee’s is perfectly fine — their prices are fair, although they’ve been steadily increasing, but that’s understandable. The last time I took some jeans here to get hemmed, Mrs. Lee’s neice (the other tailor there), did an original hem when I specifically said not to (I don’t like original hems — contrary to popular opinion, it is NOT the way to go… your jeans will fall differently). so pretty much an irreversible error b/​c I can’t make the jeans any shorter. Second, they continue to fold my jeans w/​the crease, when I specifically ask for non-​pressed FLAT FOLD… this creates a crease that is VERY difficult to get rid of. this was seriously irritating.
I give them 3 stars b/​c I’ve been coming here for a long time. mostly out of convenience. And they’re plenty friendly, and relatively quick. Just beware, you have to be extremely specific, if you’re a stickler for details like myself. I’m still gonna come here for real basic tailoring jobs, but as for the expensive goods, or ones that require more complex surgery, the search for another tailor begins.

I have taken my clothes to Lee’s Tailoring for several years now and I have been happy every time. Alterations are made exactly as you ask and things are completed on the date that you ask for them to be done. I’ve taken bridesmaid dresses and pants to this place and every time, they have done a stellar job.

I had a dilemma, I had a party in one day and my favorite jacket was too big (I lost weight recently) I went to Lee’s and they tailored my jacket perfectly overnight! They fixed it to my exact specifications, and thanks to their excellent work, I was looking good at the party that night! I will definitely go back for all my future tailoring needs!

They do exactly what you ask them to. They do EXACTLY what you ask them to. Even when you ask them to make you ugly pants.
I had this lovely pair of wide-​leg pants that made me look like I was wearing small circus tents on either leg so my sister geniusly suggested I get them tailored to a straight-​leg fit. «Brilliant!» I thought to myself, «I shall get this done at this place she recommends.»
Anyways, long story short, they made the pants exactly the way I wanted them but they turned out ugly. My bad.
