Can’t even begin to feel you how happy I was when Dulce Vida Bakery opened. The place is not only super cute, it serves a kiss ass café con leche and delicious tequeños and pastelitos. Haven’t tried their cakes yet, but they look amazing. The staff is friendly and helpful. It has filled the void left by the closing of our beloved Exxon Café.

Like many people recently, I’m sure, I checked out this place after the closing of our beloved Exxon Café. The prices are a bit higher, as one might expect, but the food is terrific. I especially liked the guava pastries, which clearly contain actual guava instead of some sort of jelly. The café con leche is pretty good also. Cakes were moist and flavorful, and the croquettas have excellent quality cheese filling. After months of bitterness(7⁄11 boycott), and finally acceptance, I’ve found my new spot.

Ok so at first I thought this place cooked amazing. Everything was always good. The last 3 times I ordered delivery from them food was horrible and incorrect. Eggs over cooked, cold & incorrect order. Incredible how someone can’t take a simple order smh

Very Nice Latin bakery. The food was good and the staff is very friendly and warm. They offer complete breakfast and lunch choices too. It’s more like a small restaurant in my opinion but the prices are good and so is the good!

Today was my first visit to this bakery. After 3 years of having limited breakfast options, after several months of just driving past this bakery, I must say that my decision to finally stop and give them a try was very much worth it. The décor is A+ Amazing, the atmosphere was a delight, the colors scheme and interior set up, in my opinion, is a 5 Star. Restroom are sparkling clean with some cute bakery décor, like the cup cake soap dispenser. My 2 year old daughter loved that too. I had the steak and eggs and it was made just right served with coffee and hot toasted Cuban bread, All of it was very good. The price was just right. Very affordable with great food, perfect and great service. They had some nice little tables to dine in and we’re able to accommodate my 2 year old daughter with a high chair. I ended up getting some of the many pastry choices to take home. All of them tasted great and aren’t hard like some other places in town. I was very pleased and quite impressed. I’ve been to many places just once, with no return. But I’ll definitely be back to this place!

Found this place by accident while bike riding. Family owned and only open for four months. Incredible Cuban pastries and individual desserts. Full breakfast specialties and all the Cuban sandwiches you would want for lunch served daily. Great soup specials that change daily. They cater for holidays and special occasions. Friendly staff. Just a great place to visit.

For years, I’ve waited for a good Cuban bakery to come to Cutler Bay and I finally have it! I’ve been to Dulce Vida several times and have tried the macarons, cake pops, pastelitos, homemade croquettes, papa rellenas, imperial rice, señoritas, me massini cake(layers of vanilla cake, chocolate mousse, Chantilly cream) and everything has been delicious! I enjoyed the massini cake. You could tell they used real cocoa powder for the chocolate mousse layer. I was thrilled to discover this bakery offer cantina meals that are prepared fresh on location. The portions of the cantina are more than enough for one person and is relatively inexpensive($ 7). Today when I arrived, the imperial rice wasn’t ready and the employee offered to deliver it to my home, which was a nice surprise. I love the feel of this bakery and can’t wait to try more goodies from them!

We we really enjoy visiting this bakery. The owner and her staff are very welcoming and love serving customers. The desserts are amazing, our family favorite is the Señorita pastry. This was very needed in the neighborhood.

I just purchased a pastelito de coco and i was highly disappointed, it was stale and extremely dry. I don’t understand how they can serve that to there customers. Dont waste your time, go to exxon bakery it’s well worth it.

Love it! This bakery not only serves desserts, it’s a sweet treat in itself! It serves Fresh authentic Cuban pastries(i emphasize on fresh… not weeks old like some other places). Additionally they serve breakfast and lunch, which by the way even the bread they use for your breakfast sandwiches is fresh! The best part of this place is that it’s so nice inside, you can tell that the owner put her heart into this place. The décor is something out of a magazine. Every little detail is special. Even the people that work there are very nice & they speak both Spanish and English! So make your way there you won’t regret it!

I stopped into this bakery a couple of weeks ago craving some awesome cupcakes and I assumed this bakery would have a lot of cupcakes by looking at the sign and windows. Don’t judge a book by its cover, also goes for bakeries. This bakery only had one or two cupcakes to choose from, and neither of them looked impressive so I passed on the cupcakes and got a couple of other pastries. The employees that were there at the time I went were not very friendly, but they were not extremely rude. The one girl behind the counter asked me what I wanted as soon as I walked in and I told her I wanted to look around so she left me alone. I think she left me alone for a little too long, and she started a conversation with another employee that had just walked in. I had a few questions about a couple of the pastries and I had to get the employees attention so I could ask my questions, and then order. I was the only customer in the bakery so I did not feel rushed. I ordered my pastries and the employee did not get one of the pastries I ordered. So I asked for it as she was ringing up my order. She told me my total and I thought it was a little pricy for what I ordered but I paid anyway, my daughter grabbed a menu and we went to the car. I went to get a cookie out of the box for my daughter before we left the parking lot, and I am so glad I did! I checked out my receipt and compared it to what I was given, and I was charged for two Santiagos but only received one. I had my two children with me, both go in car seats. I called the store and told the employee who answered, and just helped me what I discovered and asked if she could bring out the other Santiago to me in my car, which was parked right in front of the bakery. She was very helpful and brought the pastry to me which was great! I did however, only order one Santiago, so I find it annoying that I was charged for two, and then two were not even placed in my box. I am glad I was charged for two of them and caught that I was not given the second one because that pastry was my favorite out of all of the ones I ordered. This bakery is close to my house, but I do prefer a different bakery over this one. Although I am sure I will be back due to the convince in location.
