I’ve been coming to Dr. Tran for over 2 years and I couldn’t be happier!!! From the moment you walk in the door you feel like you just walked into a friends house. From the cleanliness to the friendly staff. Alicia is always smiling and very courteous. Robin (is not always there) but also makes you feel at home. Dr. Tran always greets you and treats you with respect. He is very thorough and offers various options for treatments. His assistant is very friendly and kind. Everybody in that office has exceptional customer service skills!!! I drive from Brea to Cypress because of the great staff and of course great results!!! I hope Dr. Tran sticks around for many, many more years because I plan to continue coming here for many more years to come!!!

Worse dentist ever! Very condescending. His only concern is to bill your insurance company. He doesn’t even look at your teeth before he comes to a decision that you need a long list of dental work. Read the other negative reviews. Beware! The only plus is that the hygienist is very nice as are the front staff. If you value your teeth go elsewhere.

I am certain you have given a review to the wrong office. We do not have you as a patient on record. Our office was closed from ¹⁄₁ /​16 — 1÷3÷16. We have not had a hygienist, since our hygienist has been on leave for the last three months. There are other offices with the same likely name but different spelling. This is the right office — Patella and Knott. My ‘treatment’ took place in your office several months ago. I noticed that my previous review was removed from the site.

My experience was awesome! Dr. Tran and his staff are friendly and professional. Dr. Tran answered all my questions and made me feel at ease before working on my teeth. I am definitely keeping him as my new dentist.

Dr. Tran was awesome. It’s 7:02pm n he’s working on my mom beyond office hours. She needed an extraction, this tooth has been bothering her like crazy. Very nice staff n Dr. Definitely cool DR.

Best dentist I have ever been too he fixed my teeth made my smile beautiful will gladly be going to Dr. Tran in the near future

BEWARE BAIT-​AND-​SWITCH! An $ 800 root canal magically became over $ 2,000 when I arrived for treatment today. Consider yourself warned!

Finally a doctor my daughter won’t cry at. The girls at the front gave her some stickers and we were finally able to brush her teeth at the dentist. Next up: my wife

Just a word of advice. DO NOT! I REPEAT, DO NOT let this dentist do any work in your mouth unless you get a second opinion. That way you know what you actually need is legitimate.

I have been going to Dr. Tran for 8 or 9 years maybe more. My husband, sisters, brothers and their kids all go here too. He is open on Saturday which makes it convenient. If you are like me and get alittle bit of anxiety prior to having work done ask for a calm down Rx prior to treatment it worked I also bring my ipod and listen to music so I don’t hear the drill. I am pretty picky when it comes to Dentist if they hurt me I would not go back. Give him a try and make sure you speak up if you are nervous or if you need another shot he will give them to you. No more white nuckling the chair.

I went to dr. Tran for bottom braces and he took X-​rays and cleaned my teeth. That was ok but I had 5 cavities he said so I came back and he filled 3. I came back again and now I have 3 more cavities. Well that week I had awful pain in my back tooth that had a root cannel and crown. I went back and told him to pull it as now my throat was swollen, ear blocked, jaw hurt so much I was in tears. He did not know what caused this. I asked for antibiotics before pulling tooth but he said not necessary this was the worst extraction ever. I got antibiotics but have been on pain pills for 5 days round the clock in bed with pain and I haven’t even gotten to braces as he says I need 2 crowns. After reading the other reviews, I guess this is typical for this practice. Never again.

On my first app’t I thought wow this place is great. Every body was friendly, the place was clean, the dentist seemed to be gentle. Went 4 or 5 times, then it all changed. All new staff. The dentist seemed to be less friendly, my mouth was sore for a week and it seem all he was interested in was money. I know others that the same thing happened to them. Good luck

I did NOT use the Living Social deal for teeth whitening. Instead I have been going to Easy Dental for the past 6 years through a recommendation from a family friend (which should be the way to go in terms of finding a dentist). I have had nothing but good experiences from Dr. Tran. His staff is very helpful and he seems to be very kind and genuinely cares.
I got an elbow to my front tooth playing basketball and it starting turning dark. Turns out I needed a root canal and crown. Dr. Tran did a very good job and my crown looks identical to the adjacent tooth. I have also gotten fillings and cleanings from Dr. Tran and he has always been gentle with me and I have had no problems. I recently moved to the bay area and when I visit family in So Cal I still go back for cleanings and check ups!
Great guy, great location, I would recommend him to my family and friends.

I wanted to get my teeth cleaned and my cousin recommended Dr. Tran to me. It was very easy to make an appointment. When I got there, I didn’t have to wait long before I see the doctor. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. Dr. Tran was very patient and thorough with my cleaning. His approach was careful and my teeth looked great (and felt clean) after the procedure. I would definitly return and recommend my friends and family to him.

I also went to this location for the Living Social teeth whitening deal. My experience was not any better than the others. First — they tried to make me sign disclosures for xrays and procedures, even though I was only there for teeth whitening. I refused to sign them, only to find out they wouldn’t treat me unless I did. They also required an insane amount of personal information (like your social security number, birthdate, your workplace and your spouse’s workplace) — which is WAAAAAAAY too much information for just teeth whitening. Second — before they brought me in for the teeth whitening, they tried to sell me on getting my teeth cleaned THREE DIFFERENT TIMES (at an additional cost) — telling me the whitening won’t work as well unless I get a professional cleaning first. Well then, why wasn’t that included with the Living Social deal, if it is so necessary? And yes, they tried a 4^th time to sell me on it once I was in the treatment room. The whole process was worse than a high pressure sales situation that a car dealership puts you through. I actually considered walking out and just calling the Living Social deal a loss. Now, after the teeth whitening, I am experiencing sharp pains in a few of my teeth — the pain hits instantly, last a few seconds, and is completely paralyzing. I’ve never felt pain like it before… it’s like when a dentist’s drill hits the nerve. I have a very high tolerance for pain and it cripples me every time it hits. Thankfully the pain only lasts a few seconds… otherwise it would be unbearable. If I had to search my mind for something positive to say about this place… I guess I’d say it was very clean and well kept. Too bad they used the Living Social deal to be so shady.

Finally got time to do this. Well where can I start… First, let me say DO NOT GO HERE!

Like Mike I came for a Living Social teeth whitening and x-​rays. They told me what was wrong and so on. A couple of months later I needed to take out one of my wisdom teeth so I came back to this place since that was the only place I knew. They extracted my tooth but felt a new pain a day later on one of my bottom pre-​molars. This unbelievable pain would not let me sleep. I could not sleep for days. It was pain that I’ve never felt before. I went back and Dr. Tran could not really figure it out, he then suggested a root canal. I should of gone to a different place but I couldn’t help the pain anymore. Really, I’m not exaggerating. I thought I was going to pass out from the pain. I heard people die from tooth pains.
Well after he did the root canal… guest what? The pain did not go away. I went back two days later. Dr. Tran didn’t know what it was…“maybe it’s this… I don’t know. I can’t asses it.” He worked on it again. At that point, I couldn’t hold back. I started shaking and bawling when he turned on one of his tools… I was traumatized by all the injections and work he was doing! I was spending all that money and not getting that «Easy Smile.» This last procedure did not help my pain at all as well. I was done with them!
Also, when he suggested a root canal. I said ok, but had second thoughts. He then quickly drugged me up and had her secretary make me sign for it. I remember scribbling on the sheet, it didn’t look like my normal signature. Shady people!
Well two days later. I went to a REAL dentist that I was then recommended in Woodland Hills. (I live in LA). This dentist figured what was wrong with my tooth and took away the pain in that first visit. He actually noticed that the root canal was not properly done! He also mentioned that I didn’t need a root canal! I went through this painful experience for a whole month.
So now I’m stuck paying about a $ 1,000 of the Care Credit insurance. This was a horrible experience and I hope you can stay away from this place so you won’t go through the same thing.

I came to this location for the living social teeth whitening deal and it went through without a hitch. It was clean and seemed friendly as well. So why did I give it a 3 star? Well honestly I am a bit weary about this place. I’ve gotten couple thousands of dollar of dental work in the last 6 months including 2 crowns from two different dentists. They both gave me a full cleaning and caught any cavities that I had. Well when I went in Dr. Tran told me I had 2 more cavities. WTH? Do you know how religiously i’ve been brushing my teeth, flossing them and using mouth wash? I seriously doubt that I have any new cavities form in the last month since my last cleaning. I’ve read the other guys post down below about his experience when he was told he had cavities and got a second opinion and the other dentist said he had none. Once again, a bit weary.

Dr. Tran is sociable, sweet, kind and nice and also does great work!
He worked on my braces and others for my teeth throughout my years and he’s done wonderful work. Now, I can smile everyday without being ashamed of having crooked teeth. I LOVE his work.
He is the best dentist ever! You can tell he is well organized, hard working, and determined to satisfy every customer that comes by!

The place is very clean. Once you go in, you won’t feel like this place is a very unprofessional dentistry.
Dr. Tran is also a very nice person! He loves to help people and his workers are also very helpful.
