Fit Body Boot Camp

I don’t do gyms, but I’m trying this one. So far, I’m enjoying it. The only fitness instructor I’ve worked with is Johnny, and he’s great. Very friendly, takes care of his beginners, and funny. Actually, every staff member I’ve interacted with has been friendly, welcoming, and all smiles. I look forward to learning more, working out, and getting fit.
I’m sure this gym is great for everyone, but I highly recommend it to beginners who have zero knowledge of fitness and would much rather be in a library or at a bar but know they should really take better care of themselves. I went to my first workout anxious but determined and was pleasantly surprised by how much fun I had. And yeah, it was challenging. In a great way.
ps: Always happy to support someone’s passion project, which this small gym obviously is. Forget those big box gyms. This place has real community and real heart.

I am writing this as I’m huffing and puffing in my car lol. but been coming for a little over a month and I can’t believe I’m saying this but… I absolutely love it! I never thought I would ever feel this way about exercising… Staff here are very friendly, Johnny is great, (I would say the same for the other trainers but every time I come… It’s Johnny haha) and being around people who want to put in the work with you is just motivating and inspiring. It is a little pricey for me for I am a broke college student haha… But it is definitely worth every penny I am putting in. Good luck to anyone starting out! It is not easy… So put in the work and you will see results! I’m just rambling on… So sorry if this post is just everywhere :)
Maybe when I’m feeling adventurous, I’ll post some progress pics for y’all. Haha

Absolutely love love love this place!!! I’ve only been at it a few weeks and I feel amazing!!! The instructors are very knowledgable and will motivate you through your workouts. It is a very positive atmosphere!

I purchased a Groupon deal for four weeks and so far I’m pleased with the work out routines and trainers. I didn’t have any problems scheudling them online and there weren’t any restrictions as mentioned by another Unilocaler. The trainers are great as well as their choice of music as it definitely creates a good mood.

I had purchased a groupon for 4 weeks of unlimited class and some of the trainers would not allow me to take 2 consecutive classes which was the deciding factor of whether to continue the bootcamp or not. I did enjoy the workouts but if someone purchases an unlimited amount of classes, he/​she should be allowed to take as many classes as he/​she wants.

The staff is very friendly and facility is well kept. I decided to join before my wedding in August with my maid of honor and we’ve both enjoyed the work outs. The schedule seems to accommodate any work schedule from 4am-​8pm! I have attended one other boot camp facility but this is by far my favorite!

Amazing! I joined the Cypress Fit Body Boot Camp and it has been an amazing experience. I’m on my second week and I can already see a difference in my body and energy level. I wanted to do something that would shock my body and this is exactly what I needed. Anthony and Johnny are amazing and they are great coaches. I have some knee issues so they both find modified versions of the exercises for me to do and I am extremely grateful. Bella is super cool and very supportive. She cheers you on and has a great and positive attitude. I must say that everyone in the early morning class are supportive and are willingly to help you. If you want to have fun, get in shape and see results then Fit Body Boot Camp is for you! Enjoy!

Fitbody is amazing because of Tien and his staff. It’s a place to loose weight, workout, have fun and make friends. I came here in at the end of 2013 for a 6 week program, then the holidays and life got in the way. Tried a couple other programs including the 21 day fix with little to no results. At the beginning of this year I received an email regarding one of their challenge, the little black dress and decided to give it another try. During the 6 week challenge, I learned to eat properly and lost 10 lbs. I was determined to loose more and signed up for a membership. I’ve been coming here for almost 4 months, I’m down 18 lbs and a size 8 from a 12. I love coming here and would recommend this place to anyone who is looking to loose weight or get into better shape. Plus it’s awesome to be able to workout with your friends.

I really like the setting and the atmosphere here! I used to workout at the gym and at the gym you usually just workout on your own. Here, the trainers and the people in class are all very friendly and motivating.

Amazing place! Very friendly staff. Go to groupon and get a very good introduction deal, that way you can see for yourself if this is for you before you make a commitment. So far I’m starting my third week and i am very pumped up about getting in shape with the help of fit body boot camp. They motivate me and push me to accomplish my goals, something I can’t do just going to a regular gym on my own!

having gained more than 25 lbs and a bad hiking experience at Mt Zion, we decided to try out Fit Body Boot Cam here in Cypress. At first the dilemma of starting out is horrifying questions like what if I’m not strong enough what if I cant lift heavy and other what if’s. Orientation day comes then the dreaded first day !!! it was a surprise that people and staff are so friendly made us feel at home, the instructors are great in motivating everyone. tough workout but fun! i have recommended the workout to a couple of friends and still is waiting for them to join us. to anyone who would like to shed off some weight make friends and live a more healthier like try out FIT BODY BOOTCAMP @ CYPRESS and you will NEVER be dissapointed. Thumbs up to al the people at FBBC!!!

This location is pretty great. The folks are friendly, big open space to workout, and plenty of time frames to get your fitness on. Also, there is a good amount of parking. However, be careful parking on the street. There isn’t a sign near the facility that warns about street sweeping, but Thursday mornings DON’T park on the street. Apparently, the one and only sign is right near the corner of Watson and Lincoln. Other than that, I totally recommend this location.

This program is not for the one who is not willing to make a change… that being said the instructors, staff and fellow campers are amazing. It doesnt matter what level you are when you start, dont be nervous your body and instructors will put you on the right path for success. Your classmates are all shapes n sizes but extremely motivating. Its the best way to start your morning. You may hurt and hurt like no other but this will pass. Keep coming to class and you will be amazed in self worth, determination and motivation throughout your day. Good luck.

Fit Body Boot Camp is ABSoutly the best. Not only are the classes fun and motivating, there staff are awesome. Johnny is a great person to be around and very knowledgeable. There goal is to be a community gym, to work together and motivate each other. And that is exactly what i have experience while coming here.
I was never a gym rat or a person who ate healthy, but Fit Body Boot Camp changed that. Now i workout 4 times a week and prep my meals. There are so many great things to say about Fit Body, but so little time because i got to go workout:)

Very convenient to my home lots of options for times to workout, reasonable start up rates, referral incentives, Super nice staff and a great way to meet new friends and get in shape at the same time.

FBCC has been everything I’ve been looking for in a workout. The alternating days of metabolic conditioning and strength allow for a variety in workout routine that never lets me get bored! The staff are friendly, professional, and they truly care about each and every person’s well-​being. The schedule has several different 50-​minute sessions each day, except for Sunday (closed on Sundays), so you really have no excuse not to go!
I saw results within the first week of eating clean and going to class, and am definitely looking forward to what else FBCC has in store for me!

Unilocal Challenge 2015. ²⁴³⁄₃₆₅
I am kind of lazy. Okay that’s a lie. I am really lazy!!! I have a gym membership and never use it. I have zero motivation. None what so ever. My diet sucked. I ate (whatever, whenever in moderation. I never ate veggies, loaded up on carbs. I’ve been bad to my body. On my FaceBook feed FitBody Boot camp kept on popping up. I thought to myself this was exactly what I needed.
Checking in at 5 foot 8 inches tall and weighed 134 pounds when I started. That may not sound bad, but I had zero muscle tone. I needed to GAIN about 12 pounds of muscle and shed 6 pounds of fat. Challenge accepted!
So, fast forward. Its all about change. Exercising, diet, getting enough sleep and drinking enough water. I am not going to lie. It was hard at first. Prepping meals, eating the right foods, giving up a lot of the junk and becoming accountable. But, it is the only way it works. After about a month my clothes started fitting better, muscles appeared in all the right places. And I have a whole new outlook on what I put into my body. It’s not about weight, it is about how your clothes fit.
With a schedule to meet anyone’s needs. Starting at the crack of dawn at 4:55 for the quick intense 30 minute workout. Then beginning at 5:30am and last call at 8:00pm they offer 50 minute workout classes. Plus 2 Saturday classes. You hear that? Just 50 minutes a day. Anyone can commit just 50 minutes. Now Im sure you think…50 minutes thats it? Trust me, you will get your booty handed to you in those 50 minutes of you push it real hard.
Workout Days alternate between metabolic and strength. My favorite are metabolic days. I love Burpees, and love saying the word. Burpees, burpees, burpees.
Classes usually consist of 3 stations with 4 exercises each. You work together in small groups, completing the exercises, moving to each station. The grand finale on some days… drum roll… Burpees, jumping jacks, squats and mountain climbers. Fun, fun fun!
The owner Tien is awesome. He is always sending members useful articles and is a big believer in proper nutrition. The coaches Jeff, Anthony, Terra and Johnny are great. They are there to motivate you, correct form, prevent injury and make sure that you reach your full potential. If your not lifting heavy enough they will let you know and have you increase your weight the second time around. Carrie the office manager is super cool too. She is always in a good mood and often calls you to see how your doing. Andrew is also great.
You will be sore. There will be days when you don’t want to go. There will be times you feel like giving up. But push through it and change will happen. I always feel better after coming here. The members here are amazing and the energy is off the hook. Everyone one is super cool.
Now you say, but I can’t do boot camp. I have this injury and that injury. Let me tell you something. I had a bad accident in 2013. I shattered my elbow, wrist and messed up my shoulder. I have 2 plates and a bunch of screws holding my arm together. I had over a year of physical therapy. Everything can be modified. There are only a handful of exercises I need to modify because physically my arm won’t corporate with. Other members are fighting their own battles from knee injuries, to shoulder issues. All of them fight through their battles in a safe environment.
Now you ask… How much is it going to cost me? I can’t afford this. Look for the deals, promotions, groupons and then take advantage of the sign on promotion after your promotion has expired. They have plans from 3 days a week to unlimited. It is not «cheap» but it is not crazy expensive. There really is no price you can put on your health. Especially considering it is almost like having a trainer by your side. Now if you try it and don’t like it, they are not going to bother you, and call you, or pressure you. Zero commitment if your not satisfied after your trial period.
They also sell Quest bars at $ 2.25 a piece. Pretty cheap compared to the $ 2.99 price tag other places have. Hydro Flasks are also available and a variety of supplements/​protein/​clothing. If you don’t have a hydro flask, get one. They keep your water cold all day long.
So what’s your excuse?
