Usually I love this store but today was so very frustrating I could not find one person to help me at 3 o’clock in the afternoon. When I finally did find somebody after 45 minutes that was not a cashier, they had no knowledge of any of their products. I will be going back because I love their food demonstrations.

I love this HEB! It is right off 290 and barker cypress. It’s big and there is plenty of parking space. The store is well organized and it has a good atmosphere. Self checkout available.

Here’s another HEB done right. It may not be a Plus! but it satisfies just as much. And I don’t really want to buy my clothes from here anyway. This location often has really cool seafood specials, like live crawfish(and a trailer that cranks them out), lobsters, etc, that other HEBs I’ve been to don’t have. Also the largest alcohol selection by a comfortable margin. But what makes this the best HEB around are their discounts. They have many more coupons and deals posted throughout the store than all the other HEBs in the Katy/cypress area on a regular basis. Like diapers for example, they almost always have some crazy good deal on pampers that mathematically beats out other locations, significantly. I always seem to get lucky on coupons here, it feels like each item on my list always has a sling of coupons waiting. And I shop all the HEBs around, but again, this is the one place that truly keeps up with all this. Customer service is exceptional as well, unsurprising because it’s Fairfield. Not to mention always the lowest gas price. Unfortunate it’s not the closest anymore, but fortunate to have another decent HEB closer anyway.

Best grocery store around! Service is always great. Always stocked with all my favorite food items. Customer service is awesome, if you ever have an issue they’re very good at resolving it. They truly care about their customers.

Enjoyed the variety, but the baggers were too busy socializing to bag up the groceries. The nice elderly checker had to wait to start the next order and even then she had to be fast enough to slide our order to the rest of our groceries.

I have never had a bad experience here at this HEB or any other for that matter. The employees are always helpful and friendly. The issue that I have is I was at the store yesterday and I was getting a cart outside the store I saw the biggest rat I have ever seen in my life. The rat crawled up a metal beam by an outside water display and got into a space between the wall and the outside ceiling. It makes you wonder if any rats make their way into the store??? While I did not alert a manager of what I saw, I wish that I did. Needless to say I did not shop there that day!

This place is our new go to for when we dont want to drive down to Central Market. No its not AS awesome, but it is pretty freakin great. Produce is priced well and really nice and fresh. We bought some figs while there this weekend. We couldnt decide which type to buy(they had them in packages of about 16 I think) The girl working heard us talking, asked if we needed help and then offered to open the packages and let us taste Both Kinds! She said they do it all the time. It was awesome! They have a great bread selection also like CM and deli counter(not as much of a selection, but better than your normal grocery deli) they have the house smoked meats like CM does, only they are $ 2.00 cheaper a pound. The meat and seafood counters are really great. We now regularly buy Kobe steak there, which is melt in your mouth delicious! They actually have a very nice Kitchen section with gadgets and even appliances. Huge wine selection, spices in bulk, dried fruits and oats ect. We love this store being foodies who love to cook. Check it out!

This store seems to have had a change in staff or maybe just a general«come to Jesus» meeting to correct a lot of what I previously mentioned. I do like this store now, however it’s so so so busy all the time, so I don’t get to go very often.

When it comes to being ignored when you need help this is the place to go. Heck it is even better when a manager does it that way he can show the regular employee that the customers are just pains in the ass not be be bothered with. Of course they will always have a great excuse for bad service. oh i was busy, the computer was acting up, an employee was late so we all just ignored you– sorry guys no excuse for bad service works– your not the only game in town

Came here at about a quarter to Wleven on a Sunday… It was open. Brightly lit and clean interior. The parking lot had plenty of spaces(could be due to the time of night). Parking lot itself was well kept, not a bunch of carts lying around like wandering sheep blocking up parking spaces. Upon entering HEB looks much the same as a Walmart, they even have a similar layout going. Plenty of help and lots of smiling faces. More than I can say for Walmart employees who always have an attitude no matter which Walmart I shop at. I read somewhere that the company has a policy of donating 5% of its pre-tax profits to charity annually. That’s sounds pretty decent. The snack selection is pretty diverse, not as much as Walmart, but close. The deli and cheese station was closed at the time of night I went but it looked like it had a healthy variety of both. I was craving a donut, but all the ones that were left were a bit weak(again, this is likely due to the time I visited) but surprisingly all the donuts were soft and moist. Not the least bit stale. Prices were comparable to Walmart. They had a lot of good deals and coupons along each aisle that you can tear off and bring to the register. This I disagree with, they can just take the discount off at the register without involving extra paper. Think of the environment HEB! Overall, I like this store. Makes me feel a teensy bit better shopping here than Walmart, though I admit I haven’t looked THAT deep into their business practices. I wish we had one of these in New York City(hell, I’d even take a Walmart in NYC! I’m a struggling grad student on a very tight budget!) but I know NYC hates these«mom and pop shop» destroying stores. So I stocked up while I was here for my flight back to NYC

This is one of the better HEB stores in my area. I love the fact that it is just like Central Market. It is huge and they have multiple options for multiple products, as opposed to the HEB near me that has very little options. It is super clean, and although the parking lot seems to be packed at varying hours, there is A LOT of parking.

We were pretty disappointed with the floral department after spending an hour talking with them about supplying a wedding order. We couldn’t get the floral department to supply a written quote. They would only give a quote verbally over the phone three days after our meeting and wanted to charge $ 400 to transport the flowers like 20 miles to the wedding venue. By comparison, it is costing $ 50 to transport our cake across a farther distance from a well known wedding cake vendor. Also, the total quote not including the delivery was double what the higher end packages cost in the booklet they provided us with. HEB flowers seemed to actually be pricier than specialty floral shops and the whole experience was a huge time waster.

Love, Love, Love HEB! I am such a grocery store snob. I pass up Kroger’s which is 3 min from my house to go to HEB which is 10 min from my house. I refuse to buy my meat from anywhere else! Both Kroger’s and Foodtown’s meat looks like they killed it out back and wrapped it in saran wrap! *Barf* HEB’s meat is always fresh looking and never bloody or disgusting looking. One time, only once, I bought some chicken and when I got it home, it smelled a little funny. I took it back the next day and they allowed me to exchange it, no questions asked. The store is ALWAYS clean and well-maintained. They have some of the best sushi ever. They staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Seafood market is awesome as well. I shop here probably 3x weekly. Also, little known fact-If there is a item that you are looking for, that you cannot find, you can ask them to special order it for you!

Not all HEBs are created equal! This HEB is my absolute favorite location. Farrah A. did a good job pointing out all the awesome things about this HEB — it’s clean, organized, and the aisles are wide! The produce is always fresh and plentiful. Shelves are always fully stocked. It can get pretty crazy on the weekends, but check out is always fast and efficient!

This HEB is by far the best in Houston — yes, even better than the one on Buffalo Speedway. They’ve got some sort of feng shui going on that makes grocery shopping a breeze. Everything flows. No need to go back and run around all the aisle. Start with produce, into meets, into the cheese market(the biggest one I’ve seen so far at a HEB), wine, perishable goods then frozen. The aisles are wider too. Might be that suburban folks are the heftier kind, but it works for me!

This may be the coolest grocery store I have ever been to. It is huge and has everything you could possibly want. There is an amazing seafood section with fresh Gulf seafood and fresh imported fish. Lobster tails, tiger shrimp, live lobsters, etc. are all available for purchase. Their liquor wine and beer section is also amazing. There was a lady offering tastes of wine, and you can make your own six pack of beer or wine. I opted for six packs of smithwick’s and the seasonal shiner. Yum. The store offers«meal deals» where you can get everything to make a certain meal. We got the meal deal for chicken fajitas, and the chicken was awesome. HEB also offers an entire smoked beef brisket in the meat section. Dear HEB, please come to Louisiana.
