Katey Nails

This was our first trip. I got silk wrap for the first time my friend got acrylic and we all got pedis. Everyone was so nice and took their time. I would absolutely come back.

I’ve never made an appointment just called on my way in and I’ve never had to wait. They’ve always done a great job with the pedicure and mani. The price is reasonable and they try to upsell you with all the extras. Have been here a few times and will keep coming back!

I read the rave reviews so I went to Katey’s nails AKA TOP SPAS with high expectations only to be let down! I was greeted nicely by IVY the owner and she began my nails while I sat for the pedicure. I had 3 remaining nails which IVY roughly removed and in the process took off half of my REAL nail from my pinky finger. she immediately tried to cover it up but it was hard to do so with blood coming from my finger I advised her to stop and she apologized & put my finger in alcohol. I was annoyed but I decided to stay and boy ! Do I regret it. once she’s done with my nails she handed me off to another nail tech who would complete the set with gel. idk her name but she was extremely rough with the file and made a cut on my other pinky with the file and she drilled my skin back and made my middle and index finger bleed. I will never return to Top Spas nail shop again !!! Top Spa my ass more like BOTTOM OF THE BARREL !!!

I am a regular at this nail salon and I don’t think I will ever stop coming! This is located right next to my house and May and the other girls treat me so well.
They do a great job at making you feel comfortable and welcome.
They do an even better job when doing nails!
My favorite is the classy French manicure.
They recently hired a lady named Gina that does AMAZING designs! Highly recommend her if you want to do beautiful floral designs. She can even try to do the designs you look up on the internet!
I always bring my girlfriends to this salon and they never complain.
The prices are reasonable too.
Make sure you call ahead to ask if they are busy!

I can’t begin to say how happy I am to find Gina. And to think, all these years I’ve been going to so many other nail salons in the area, and didn’t even realize that Katey Nails was just around the corner from my house. I have my neighbor to thank, for introducing me to this salon.
Gina doesn’t really speak much English, but the owner is always there to translate. She does an amazing job removing my gel polish. It is so smooth! She also did a cherry blossom design for me recently and it’s beautiful. She is patient and really takes her time to make sure it’s perfect. I’m a loyal customer going forward.

Let me start by saying that I am anal about my nails. I’m so anal that I do my own nails. I hardly ever let anyone else touch them. If I was stranded on a deserted island, I would wish for nail clippers and a crystal nail file.
I walked in the nail shop with no appointment on a Friday afternoon. I was immediately greeted by ladies that spoke well-​defined English. I felt relieved to say the least. I’m not a fan when a manicurist speaks in a foreign language the whole time. I feel like such a moron just sitting there and I have no freaking idea what they’re saying.
I had a spa pedicure and a polish change for $ 20. The ladies took their time and were very gentle. They also helped me decide what color polish to choose. They even offered to try a few colors on my nails to help me decide. The colors that they picked for me were perfect. And their work was good. I liked the way they trimmed, buffed, and shaped my nails.
There is a decent selection of OPI polishes available. They did however try to upsell me on additional services but whatever. I just said no. The nail salon is nothing fancy. Kind of old school but it’s clean. Overall, I was satisfied with my experience here. If I ever have another nail emergency, I will definitely come back to Katey Nails.

I used to come here all the time but I moved and it was too far of a drive especially since there were other nail salons so close by. I recently came back and remembered why I loved it so much. Prices are comparable to other places. I came in as a walk in and both ladies were very nice and GENTLE which is a huge plus! They were thorough even a regular came in, they did not rush through my mani-​pedi. No pressure tactics and they even gave me a free nail buffer when I admired the work they had done on my manicure. They spoke English well and they didn’t chat with one another much, nor with me (other than to verify they were doing what I wanted) and this is fine with me as I like to relax not chat when I’m getting my mani-​pedi. I felt like they were focus solely on their work. I’m going to start to make the drive here again.

My new favorite nail spot. My best friend referred me. I’ve been going here for a few months and I’m really happy with my nails. It’s not one of those overpriced fancy places but those «other» splace overcharge and they actually always cut me. None of that here not even once which is pretty amazing to me considering every other place I’ve been to always does.

I’ve been looking for a nail salon for over two years (since my favorite gal left where I used to go for almost six years) — and this is the answer to my search. Katey’s Nails is a very friendly salon, very reasonable prices, ample parking (strip mall location), and although I had a slight wait (I was a in-​walk), I was delighted to see one of my neighbors (she claimed that she had been going here for 10 years), in informed me that other ladies from my condo complex have adopted Katey’s as their nail place. The operatives speak English (always a plus), did NOT use any high pressure sales tactics, and were very thoughtful when it came to my very, very ticklish (very!) feet. The facility is very clean and the tools were individually wrapped and presented to me before use. I left with two acrylic repairs, a beautiful manicure, and also a pedicure (nice selection of different polishes; I’m partial to lilac), all for an incredibly reasonable rate ($ 25). I’m going to be a regular — after shoddy treatment in various other salons, I can’t praise this little business too highly. The only negative was a informercial TV station, which I can easily forgive. (If only they would add a beverage service.. .)
