Papa John’s Pizza

They advertise five dollar pizza but they do not specify that its a personal pizza. The boy who took my order did not know the difference and was unaware of his product. First rule of working in the restaurant business… You need to know your product!!! I asked him what was on the vegetable pizza and hos response was «vegetables» He over charged me and ten didn’t know how to fix his mistake. But when I asked to speak to a manager he was very reluctant. The manager came out and was apologetic and helped the kid. I got my pizza in what seemed like forever it took twenty minutes for two medium pizzas. All in all the pizza was good fresh and very tasty.

Called in my late night order of an extra cheese pizza and boy am I glad I did! My wonderful cashier Julie hooked me up with a large extra cheese pizza for less then 10 bucks! So cheap, I decided to papa size :) best tasting fast food pizza you can get! And that garlic. No comment Only problem was getting the papa size pizza home x) a meal and workout all in one! I love all papa johns but this papa johns makes there pizzas extra pizzaee! I cant believe it’s rated so low on here, y’all missing out! Thanks Julie :) How does this place have 2 stars again? Horrible Service! ! They were An hour Late and got the wrong order; and when we called back they said it was our Fault! And they said if we had a problem to take it up with Corporate. They were very Unprofessional! My family and i are disappointed, we have been loyal customers for years and the way they treated us tonight we will no longer be ordering here again. SORRY PAPA You Just Lost A Loyal Customer.

How do you rate it when you like the pizza but they don’t get your order correct? It happened once and now it’s the second time with months in between cuz I lost faith and then decided one more try. Sorry papa johns but if you take my order and read it back then when I show up you show me something else then when I repeat what the order was you say «oh yes I remember». I have to wait another 15 minutes to cook. What was the point in calling in the order!

Just ordered a togo order of ‘get 3 items for 7.49 each’,
and the guy worker kindly helped us get our order correctly and gave us good deals.

Favorite place to get pizza! Best customer service at this location and are quick with my orders. Takes about 15 mins for the pizza to be ready. Workers are always making sure I’m happy with my order. A plus is having 7 leaves next door

Worst Papa John’s pizza ever. I was over at a friend’s house yesterday and we decided to order delivery from this location. We ordered 3 pizzas… one pepperoni and sausage… one Hawaiian. and one the works. The toppings were a joke. For the first pizza, there was literally like 2 small pieces of sausage and 1 or 2 small pepperonis on each slice of pizza. 1 or 2 slices didn’t have ANY meat on it. The Hawaiian was decent, there were a few pineapple pieces and ham on each slice of pizza. The works barely had anything for something called «the woks»
The papa johns near my house never skimped on ingredients, so I think it just various depending on location. This location sucks ass. Can’t believe we paid $ 50 for that crap.

Awful experience! I placed my order for pizzas two days in advance for a birthday party. Paid in advance thinking i will have one less thing to worry about on the day of the party. But i had a lot to worry about on the day of the party. 45 min past delivery time, my pizzas had still not arrived. my guests (mostly kids) were getting hungry and bored at this point. I tried calling the store multiple times and they wont even pick up the phone. eventually i got through to them and they tell me that they are short of drivers! wow! I didnt order half an hour earlier, i ordered two days in advance!!! It was a very frustrating experience. I am not ordering papa john’s again! not from this store for sure.

I always pass by this place and now I know why. Service slow. The seating area… well you dont come here to really eat but there is one waiting bench and one table with 4 chairs… so take out is highly recommended… the staff is some what friendly and the food is what you pay for. and uts jot too shabby. When I got it it was super hot. So those who csnt tske the heat. Be careful. I had the lunch special at 2 pm so I guess they were being nice. But they told me 10 minutes and it came out in 10mins

The absolute worst pizza I have ever tasted. I ordered 2 large two topping pizzas. My family could not eat it. I called and talked to Rosa and she said company policy was no refunds. I told her it should say that on the on line ordering page. She offered to replace the pizzas but I said why would I want more cardboard. The pizza was horrible! This was my first time ordering from Papa John’s and it will be the last! The crust tasted like cardboard and the sauce had a metallic taste. The pineapple tasted like plastic. If I could give it zero stars I would. What a waste of money. I will be calling corporate offices in the morning.

I’m not sure if it’s ALL Papa John’s stores but this one definitely sucks. They overcharge. I ended up paying almost $ 30 for a basic as medium pizza. NEVER AGAIN!

I ordered pizza today and i didn’t care about for charging peppers and parmesan cheeses. but despite the charged fee, they not gave us them. and when i opened the pizza boxes they all messed up like they dropped them once and he took 3 dollars tip. bloody well-​done guys. one more thing, pizzas were cool down before i start to eat…

I’m not a big fan of cold pizza that arrives 20 minutes late. Especially when it costs 40 bucks.

insane that we ordered five pizzas last night on a preorder & still got our pizzas two hours late!!! without a comp or a discount! never again!

Will not come here again. I ordered online and i see a better deal at the location. The guy would not give me the same deal. What a hassle. He said i would have to cancel and order again. All he had to do was give me what he advertised for the same price.

It’s next door to a sports bar I frequent so it’s convenient, nothing special… Pizza is ok not the best and not the worse I’ve ever had.

Went in and ordered two pizzas… Just pepperoni… And an order of bread sticks…$ 31.00. We asked if that was the deal they usually have going on and they said yes. We refused to pay and went to the Papa Johns we’re used to on Artesia blvd., where we paid much less. Dont waste your time with these people.

I had to say. This place sucks. Real shitty quality pizza they make. I didn’t know Papa John makes crappy pizza. Now I know.

Barely 1.5 stars, let alone 2, but I’m nice and don’t have the heart to put a 1 star…
Here is the story: got some late night pizza for a group one night… pizza arrived late– I kid you not, I even waited outside to get the pizza cause I thought they were lost (because they were so late). When the truck drove up, the delivery dude DID NOT SAY ONE WORD TO ME. THE ENTIRE TIME. Seriously, what kind crap job is that??! That was THE WORSE possible customer service that I have ever gotten in MY ENTIRE LIFE. I just received an attitude-​y stare as a response. I gave him a tip (which wasn’t deserved at all) and he sped off in his truck about a million miles per hour. Since it was late and obviously dark, this fool jeopardized whatever and whoever could have been in his path. Probably creates some sort of road kill as he drove back to papa johns…
Overall not satisfied with the quality, quantity, price for what I got, or service. Never going here again… Granted, this story did happen a while ago, but I just recently started using Unilocal again this year. Looking at the reviews though– it doesn’t surprise my that my review is just as low as others.
*Only pros in my book: they are located right next to Frostbites.

Tried this Papa John’s twice and will never go back. They can’t seem to get the order right and they are rude too. The crust and sauce is good but they are stingy with the cheese. Currently they have a special that is any large 5 topping pizza for $ 12 so I ordered cheese cheese pepperoni and pepperoni. Well I could see more crust and sauce than cheese. And that was double cheese? I’d hate to see their standard. I’m done with this location. Giving the franchise a bad name.

Just a few tragic things this month…
My Grandmother passed away.
My betta fish died.
My uncle had a toe amputated.
And our favorite Italian place Cortino’s, had a fire that took out most of their kitchen and store front.
All of these tragedies led me to this tragedy.
Yesterday I had to go to my Uncle and Grandmother’s house to sort through Grandma’s things and take what I wanted. Not a happy day.
But you know what would have helped? A tasty meal.

I’m going to give 5 stars for the delivery driver. He was really, really nice.
But he brought us soggy chicken wings and two large pizzas that were over-​baked.
I don’t like my bell-​pepper dehydrated nor my olives crispy. I also have no idea what they are adding in the crust, it was sweet, like muffin sweet, very odd. And I suppose because of Obamacare and Papa John’s need to keep his moat maintained as opposed to paying his employees, they are going on the cheap and only giving out one pepperoncini instead of two like they used to. Bastards.
There’s really no excuse for this sort of food. Better ingredients me arse. We paid nearly $ 65.00 for two large 3 topping pizzas, two side salads, and those soggy dead chicken wings.

Seriously, its not the best pizza, but it certainly deserves a higher rating.
I am paying 10 bucks for a large «The Works». They got my food right, and it tastes decent, my stomach got filled. What else can we ask for?
