History

Established in 1991.

In 1991, Cal and Maria Nicholson of Project Build Construction started in the home improvement business as Calmar Floors. They served the needs of homeowners and property management companies, installing, sanding and refinishing wood floors, installation of stone and tile, drywall and painting, and carpentry. They have expanded to residential and commercial projects working with architects, and builders in the East Coast and then spent 6 years in the state of Arizona working for custom builders and designers during the growth years of the housing market. The constant demand of loyal and satisfied customers pave the way to expanding into General Contracting and Remodeling with specialty licenses in plumbing and electrical in the State of California. Project Build Construction remains dedicated to conducting their business practices in an honest, fair, and ethical way. It will continuously serve customers with integrity by providing excellent quality work and great customer service.

Manager

Cal and Maria Nicholson started Project Build Construction Group, Inc. to answer to the demands of loyal and satisfied customers for them to expand into full scale remodeling and construction. Cal and Maria both hold degrees in Business Management and have been in the Home Services Industry since the very early 90s as Calmar Floors. Prior to starting their business, Cal was a property manager for one of the biggest firms in the Washington, DC Area working with numerous contractors and was responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the properties he managed. Maria on the other hand, has worked with a leading manufacturer of setting materials, as well as one of the leading providers of flooring services for Home Depot. Both have the natural ability to put together highly skilled tradesmen in getting the job done and done right. Their friendliness, dedication, and passion to excel make their customers feel at ease knowing that they made the right choice.
